Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

Hi everyone! We will be staying at CS 10/28-11/4 this will be our first time staying there and our sons third visit, but our first time at Disney with his new brother- an infant! Does anyone know how to go about getting a pack-n-play for the room? Is there a charge for it? Any other tips about the resort are welcome! We have always stayed at Kidani in the past, with renting DVC points so a large resort is something new for us. What are the best locations? Best bus stop?

Thanks in advance!

You can request a pack-n-play when you book, or anytime really. When we went with a 3 month old in 2012 they had it in the room when we checked in :)

We officially joined the FD train!

We will be there Dec. 12th-26th staying in Business Class. This will be our 4th stay at CSR. Looking forward to enjoying a full 2 weeks!

Hey everyone,

I booked through a TA for late October. At what point can I make a request about room assignment? I asked her at the time to request near the food court and bus stop. We will use a pool from time to time, but quiet pools are fine for us. So I'm not too concerned about a walk to a pool.

We have a standard king reservation. What room reservation would be best for that category of room?

Thank y'all!

I would request Casitas 4. It is one of the closest non-preferred buildings to the food court, it is close to busstop 2 which is the first pickup for the parks and has an extra large quiet pool. If your interested Casitas 4 also houses the Fitness Center, Salon, Spa, and Sauna. Other than the Business Class rooms it is my favorite location at CSR. The only downside is it is the opposite side for the Digsite pool, but you said that doesn't matter. Also if you get a room on the 4th floor facing the lagoon you can see the high fireworks from EPCOT at night.

You will find plenty of ducks around. They may walk right up to you if you are outside eating and want some:)

The Punch card is quite simple. You can get food at any of the stations. Whatever you order the CM will punch your card as to what you bought. After you are finished eating take your card to the registers near the exits and they will check you out.

Good Luck and enjoy your stay. CSR is a beautiful resort and make sure to explore it by walking around the lake.

You guys rock!! :hippie: That punch card sounds a lot more convenient than other resorts' food courts! It sounds like you won't have to balance all of the food items on the trays and try to pay at the same time. How awesome is that?!

And Yay on the ducks!!! This was my daughter at the Beach Club with one of her new friends:

Thanks! When can I request?

I've never booked through a TA so I'm not sure what the time frame is for making your own requests. Call a couple weeks out and you should be fine. When checking in if they have you in a different building, politely ask if your requests were noted on your reservation and if there is any chance they could honor them.

If you haven't done so, check out the first few pages of this thread. Also check our allearnets.com. They have great info and videos and pics of this resorts.

Thanks! I skimmed the first page of this thread, but will go back to re-read better as time permits. We are HUGE fans of allearsnet! We don't go to WDW without using allears for menus, resort info, etc. :thumbsup2

When I used a TA, I couldn't add anything to my request myself through Disney. I tried to put in a location request and a pack n play request and was told my TA had to do it for me.

We are standard view business class Cabanas 9B...Can anyone tell me how many floors are there in that bldg.? Also, any clue what standard views are like? Do they look at the parking lot, shrubs etc.? Thanks!

That's where we were. We had a view of a pond in the back of the building. It has 2 floors, we were on 2nd. The lounge is on first floor at front of building. Cross the bridge and you're at the main building. You will love it!

Soo excited! We are also in business class and I'm really looking forward to quick breakfast and location to pool, buses, food and shopping. We are going November 1-8.

There are 2 types of room in Business Class. Standard and King. Both types are located on both sides of the building. So you will have a view of either the main lagoon facing the Digsite or the smaller lagoon out back. Some rooms in the back may also be able to see the corner of a parking lot, but it's not a parking lot view.

THANK YOU!! We have a standard so hopefully we will get some kind of "lagoon" view!!

We stayed Business Class for 12 nights last December and have 14 nights booked for this December. The view and room location are awesome. I really enjoyed laying in the hamocks out front taking it all in.

This is a view from 9531. Looking at the backside lake. I counted over 20 turtles sunning. Walking distance to the lounge was 50 feet.

I can't wait for my first stay at csr in sept i have been looking at the maya grills menu and like the entrees but not thrilled with the dessert options so my question what in the world is fried ice cream? How do u fry ice cream lol
