The ones who are out of their minds are all the people booking these two Southern cruises at these prices.

I stuck with my April 30th Southern on the Magic and added the repo back to Port Canaveral on May 7th and saved a few thousand!!!
13 nights too, with some repeat ports and Castaway Cay.

You have to ask to have your soap and conditioner replaced now. At these prices I should have my own private butler.

You really do. On our last cruise they were not replacing these things and gave me a bit of an attitude when I asked about it.

This is why I never understood the "Disney Magic" thing. Their policies (price fluctuations, dining reservations in the parks, fastpasses, etc.) create such a frenzy that it's an incredible amount of work to book a vacation with them. They are a business, plain and simple. And so long as people continue to have kids, they have enough parents at any given time to pay the prices and do the work. And they know it. By the time we tire of it, there's another set of parents not yet burned out by it all.

And they will think $12k is normal. and in 3 years they will be priced out by 20k and another new set of parents.....and on and on.

Yes and the room I asked about was a secret verandah too, with the plexiglass..... But it was out of my price range.

Us too! But I am thrilled with what we have, we will be celebrating our belated 30th wedding anniversary.

Ouch. I have another kid and just priced 6 day land tour followed by 7 night south on Princess, including Glacier Bay, at about $13k. Granted, it's expensive airfare, but apples to apples it is hard to justify these prices.

When a lot of people do a b2b Disney usually has a nice excursion for them people on checkout/checkin day. There's probably a lot of people doing a b2b. The excursion of course will be $$$. Disney alswYs finds a way to make money.

(Sorry, I don't have the Exact numbers. I think I was blacking out what they started said "Twelve thousand & __________ dollars for and inside stateroom.) I asked if this could possibly be a computer error.

Celebrity has a an Iceland cruise next May with a better itinerary than DCL. It stops at four ports in Iceland. I believe it's 14 nights. I just thought I throw that out there for anybody that doesn't have to cruise in the Summer months, and would like to see Iceland.

I hope the regular seven day cruises to Alaska are more reasonable than the 9 day quote posted! I was hoping to go on one and do something different now that the kids are older. We love Disney and really wanted to travel on the Wonder and were fine with an ocean view room and taking the end of May departure to save money. I was researching Princess and Celebrity to pass the time while I waited for the summer 2017 releases. I may need to pick up that research again.
