Has anyone tried to buy Target cards on Sears.com? SEARS.COM has GCM Target cards for sale!!!

I have tried to do it as a guest, and purchasing with a credit card was the only option. Has anyone else found a way to do it with a gift card?

I actually posted about this a few pages back. I tried to buy them hoping you could pay with a Sears GC but it only gives you an option to pay with a CC.

Oh, no worries. The post didn't get much attention at the time so it would be easy to miss. I was just letting you know I already tried so you didn't have to bother. Sure wish that would work since discounted Sears GC's are plentiful.

I really wish that people would stop messaging Target and GCM about the dearth of GCs. The person who is answering you has no more information than you do. The GCs will return when/if the companies are ready to restore/restock them. People have already posted the responses they've received. Asking again and expecting a different result is, well..., crazy. Be patient. Let things shake out. And if you need Disney GCs for your vacation soon, now would be the time to put your exit strategy into play.

In the meantime, there are still ways to churn if you have the time to take things more slowly. It may not yield the swift amounts that we were seeing with the Target ->ebay -> Target churn, but it's still viable.

No kidding! Just chill. I know it's addicting, but 6 months ago we weren't churning and were perfectly content, so don't try to force it. As if you're going to get some critical piece of information from a Target operator as to whether or not ways to make money by exploiting Target systmes will work. Right! We all knew the goodness that was Ebay-Target would be a short term thing. Just wait it out, look for new opportunities. The urgency with which people seem to be pursuing Ebay, GCM and Target is crazy. The Target path is dead. If Ebay comes back there, it will not be churnable for profit. They've identified the problem so now it's moot.

Let the dust settle for a few months or churn something slowly on the side if you like the EBucks. But please stop asking these companies whether they will implement systems that you can take advantage of. The way to make money doing this is not to pursue the churn that was... for even if it came back, it's too well known that stocks will run out constantly. You need to find the next weakness in the next company, and then keep it quiet for as long as possible!

With Best Buy struggling financially, maybe the increase in gift card sales will help them out. If I churn even half of what I was doing with Target, it's significantly more business than I've given Best Buy in the last ten years. Just doing my part to help the economy.

What we're doing is not helping the economy, it's helping ourselves by taking from these companies. When you buy a gift card with a gift card that BB sold at a discount, BB is not making money on that cycle -- you are. Just sayin. You wouldn't do it if it wasn't profitable for you (not BB). If you ended w less money than you started with each churn, then you'd be helping BB.

Just needing to vent...On the 18th, I bought a $500 Target GC from an individual seller on ebay for $500 plus $10 shipping. I bought it earlier in the day. I bought 3 other GC's from individuals on ebay that same day. I have received them all already. The seller of this $500 Target GC hasn't shipped yet. I sent a message yesterday asking if he'd shipped yet and just received a reply that he would ship 'asap'. I don't get it! It's been 4 days! How hard is it to drop something in the mail??? Just frustrated and missing our GCM option. I thought for sure I'd have this money in time for a promo this week but that is now looking highly unlikely.

I saw a $500 Target card come up on EBay at face value but it was a 0-feedback seller. Too good to be true. Was it that one?

It's YMMV. The only thing preventing you is possibly a employee denying you which is 99% unlikely.

For me, dealing with PPDG is not worth it when you're account gets locked. Lately it's been more of a when than if.

I've been churning through them since Target ended. Cards from GCM came in no different than the Target cards.

Well. I just checked online. I've got 15 game stops within 25 miles of me, so it seems like it is less of a risk for me because if the systems will convert it, I should be able to find someone to do it for me.
