She said we were getting finger prints on the packages. I explained that Macy's paid shopkick to bring people into the store and she said yes to try out the fragrances. I got my scans and left but as someone who does buy a fair amount at Macy's (I've probably spent $250 there since April), it was a sucky experience and the first time I've ever encountered something like that while shopkicking.

First, I had to laugh about "getting fingerprints on the packages." Seriously???

Second, when she said, "to try out the fragrances" I think I would have sprayed the sample and responded, "Done!" What a snooty lady. That's exactly why I don't shop in those departments.

I'm curious if this would work with the joann deal. I'm guessing no, but want to see if anyone has experience with it. They have a coupon for $10 off $50. I'm wondering if I got a $50 gift card and $10 in scrapbooking supplies if I could use the coupon and still get the credit. I saw ibotta has $5 back for spending $40, but gift cards don't apply.

ETA: guess i could have read the fine print on the coupon. No gift cards

I made a PPDG purchase of 2- $100 Lowe's egcs yesterday & one of them was delivered but not the other. Today, I purchased 2 more & both were delivered quickly. Is it normal for one to be "hung up" & have to wait on it, or should I go ahead & call them? I sent an email already, but thought I should consult here before panicking. TIA!

Thanks! I've had terrible luck getting targeted offers that I can actually use, but I got this one. I also noticed Amex has the following offer for me:

Get 1,500 Membership Rewards® points when you use your enrolled Card to spend $100+ in one or more purchases at U.S. supermarkets by August 31, 2016.

Check your offers. This might be nice to stack with other reward bonuses and discounts. I don't see any exclusions for gift cards.

Odd - same exact thing just happened to me. In the past, they were sent quickly. I'm planning to wait a day or two and then contact them if the second voucher doesn't show up.

Ok, so I need to pay off 650 in member dues by June 15th. Plan is to buy $400 Target e-gift cards from staples today, then use those to buy $400 in Disney gift cards from target.com using red card discount, then deposit those into my DVA account. Then wait a week and do the same thing but only buying $250 worth of gift cards. Does this sound like a relatively safe strategy or am I buying to much in gift cards in too short of a time? Just not sure if 650 in 2 weeks is a large enough purchase to raise any red flags?

I bought $3,000 worth of Disney cards from Target in December. I think you'll be fine.

Thanks for the heads up, I just added it to 4 of my amex cards. Has anyone purchased the gift card from Joanns yet with the bonus offer, and received the email from amex that it was successful? I hope to try it later today.

Yes I received the email from Amex. I checked for it as soon as I left the store and it was there. I envy your four Amex cards! I used to have four but with Costco and JetBlue ending their Amex relationship, I'm down to one. Those offers more than covered any annual fees.

I did too, but 15% isn't that great. PPDG frequently runs 20% discounts on iTunes codes, and occasionally 25% off. If you're a Costco member, Costco also runs frequent sales on packs of $100 iTunes cards for around $85. I always buy at least $100 or $200 at a time when there's a really good sale.

Ebates credits iTunes Store purchases at 7% cash back (even if paid for with iTunes credit), so always remember to go through the Ebates site, search for iTunes and activate a shopping trip, which will launch the app before you buy anything.

I also discovered recently that you can subscribe to Netflix via AppleTV and pay for your subscription with iTunes credit from your iTunes account. With the cost of my grandfathered Netflix subscription going up this month, I'll be "canceling" my subscription, then re-subscribing on my AppleTV to do just that.

I don't have Netflix, but I was thinking about getting HBO go - I had it for a month or two last summer and remember paying with itunes credit. So, would that ebates credit work for paying for HBO now too do you think?

Swag bucks does not credit for GC purchases.

Perk might though. I couldn't find any terms and conditions for Perk shopping. If I remember correctly, it was 5/$1 for Target.
