Disney Fantasy Eastern October 22, 2016

We've never been on a Halloween cruise, but have been on 15 Disney cruises. If you go on DCL.com you can read all about the Halloween activities. They designate 1 night as "Halloween". You can dress up and they have a costume contest. I read where 50% adults dress up and most of the kids. I think Bruce and will dress up. They have trick or treat. And the ship has some decorations.
Does anyone know if there's a Pirate night as well ?
Who is doing the roll call ? Wanted to add our names to the list.
Also, who is organizing the FE ? I've already started making lots of gifts and have bought a few things for the younger kids. Love doing it !

Has anyone been to any of the scheduled ports? We are looking to see what excursion might be appropriate for our 3 year old. Also, what is transportation like in order to get to the excursions? Safe for a 3 year old?

Yes, I have been on the Halloween Cruise in 2015. They have all their normal activities and include Halloween activities as well. Unfortunately, they don't post what those are until the last minute. Last year, they had trick-or-treating (which was ok, but not great). They had 6 stations set up on different floors that you go to for candy. The problem was that they were really crowded and it was difficult to get from station to station within the time they did it (I think they were out there for 45 minutes or less). It was still fun. We all dressed up in Halloween costumes for the whole night. They had a Halloween Ball... a family dance party and also an adult only one. They have photographers everywhere. They have a big pumpkin tree. The characters dress up in Halloween costumes. That's off the top of my head. Can't remember it all... there was a lot.

If this is your first DCL cruise you won't be able to schedule any port adventures till 75 days out. You can look at them at any time though online for your ports of call.
Not sure what you mean by safe, but they are all done by island vendors but DCL usually picks the best they can find for each. Transportation depends on what it is, but it is often a bus, van or shuttle of some type.

You can't message until you have a certain amount of posts and I believe to be part of the FE you need to be able to message.

Trying to learn about how the Fish Extender works. My husband, 2 year old granddaughter and I will be sailing on the Fantasy October 22,2016 cruise. This will be our 4th cruise. Can't wait. I think this would be a fun thing to participate in as I love seeing how people decorate their doors and leave the gifts I've seen on the fish extenders on previous cruises. I'm so sorry that I"m so late to hopping on the board! I hope everyone is getting excited and making their plans! My name is Stephen and I'm so excited that me and my to-be-wife will be sharing our honeymoon with all of you!

Has anyone set up a mixology group yet? I know i'm late to the party but if there's room or a waiting list we'd definitely be interested. If not is anyone interested in doing a class and I can see if I can do anything to set it up? (never done it before).
