How many days would YOU do in each park

9 night/8 days in late April/Early May. What is your perfect amt of time in each park. I am really excited about the Flower and Garden show at Epcot so want plenty of time there. It will be my husband and I, our 4yo daughter and my mother. I keep going back and forth on our plans even though we've been tons of times. With the renovations going on at HS, how long do you think we need there?

MK 2-3
Epcot 2
DHS 2
DAK 2

The "renovations" at DHS are simply not a factor.
You won't even notice them.
Virtually every major DHS attraction is operating normally.

We park-hop, so we can be part of a day in two parks each day.
But, the "total" time, in each park averages as above.

With 8 park days, we would do 3 in MK, 2 in EP, and 2 in AK. Unless Star Wars is "must do" I don't think DHS is worth the cost of admission right now. The remaining day I would use as a rest day/resort day.

Aside from Lights Motors Action and Backlot Tour..really nothing else is closed that was of significant impact at HS. If HS was a full day park to someone 2 years ago, it's still a full day park. There's major construction of 2 lands but it's really not affecting that much of the park

As others have said, I'd do 3 days at MK, 2 at Epcot, 2 at AK, and 1 at HS.

i'd probably do 1 in each park, we'd probably end up back in mk several times, maybe epcot again if we enjoyed it (we rarely enjoy epcot). We would look to do something non-disney with 9 days though. it's a good time for that day trip to universal if you haven't been yet. I'd probably buy 5 day tickets and add more days while there if I need them.

I found the sea world food festival to be better food than flower and garden (and they are giving disney a topiary challenge on top of it and it's making disney look lazy). Busch gardens while in tampa area isn't that far away and they just started a food and wine festival and the videos I've seen all say it might be the best food of all the festivals happening right now and looks even better on their gardening than disney or sea world.

lots to do around this area right now :)

If I were going with just my wife, I would consider HS for a day...or at least a half day. I love ToT, RnR coaster, and Star Tours. However, on this next trip I will be going with 4 children 6 & under. They aren't tall enough to enjoy the park so I would feel like I was dragging them around to do my stuff. For right now, HS is not worth my time. In another couple of years it would be fantastic.

We do half days/park hop. 8 days = 16 half day slots to fill. 4-5 at MK, 4-5 at EPCOT. Now that AK has expanded evening hours, we'd do 2 half days there instead of just 1. HS would still get done in 2 half days, although we might do 3. That leaves a few slots for us to fiddle with, depending on weather, crowds, etc.

DHS is a hard sell for me right now. None of us ride ToT. DS likes RnRC, but no one else rides it, and there just isn't that much left in the park. If we had park hoppers, we would probably spend half a day there, but since we always get base tickets, DHS gets a pass until the two new lands open.

So then, with 8 days, and us not doing DHS I would say AK is a one day park. I personally would then do 4 days in MK, and 3 in Epcot.

If DHS still holds interest for you, then I'd say 3 MK, 3 Epcot, 1 AK and 1 DHS. If you have park hoppers, then you could likely knock out DHS in half a day, possibly getting your FP+ for DHS in the afternoon / evening, and starting the day by rope dropping another park, and doing what you can standby before the lines get long.

We do 8+ day trips during F&W and spend lots of time in WS for that. Our strategy is to hit an early park at RD then hop to WS in the afternoon so do 2 days in each park with a F&G hop daily. Sat during F&W has crazy crowds in WS so sometimes we skip that day, don't recall Sat during F&G being like that.

You might consider taking a mid week break (especially with the 4 year old). Not sure if a water park would interest your family or a day at the pool. At Halloween, we spent the day at Disney Springs and my 3 year old son loved it!! T-rex was a blast for him. That time of year is just great!

I'll be traveling with my 5 yr old granddaughter at the end of May for 10 days. Right now, my plan is 3 days at MK, 1 day each at Epcot, AK, and DHS, and 2.5 days to spend at the resort pool and/or Disney Springs. My granddaughter LOVES pool time!! We may add a second day at Epcot, depending on how much we get done the first day. Our tickets include a bonus day, which we may use for a water park, for a half day.

BTW, we've been going the last week of April/first week of May for the last couple of years - perfect time to go!!!! DGD started Kindergarden this year, so we'll be there a little later this time!

That really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If it were me and we are trying new things, I would do MK (2), EP (2), DHS (1), AK (1), TL (1), BB (1) w/ nighttime show at another park on waterpark days.
