How do you pay dues?

I can't generalize for all rewards cards, but for the Chase Sapphire Reserve card they do.
Chase Sapphire Reserve will give 3x points for deposits into the DVA. Also Chase Sapphire Reserve is worth 4.5 points if the 3x points are redeemed for travel.

Very helpful, thanks. So basically you can buy a Disney Gift Card at BJ's at a 5% discount using a credit card with 2% cash back and then get a 2% bonus Disney Gift Card on the back end. Incredible!
Actually I try to buy them at our local grocery store when they run a fuel promotion on gift cards (this doesn't apply to all areas of the country) using a credit card that gives a high percentage back from grocery store purchases. Then I deposit them into the DVA and get the $20 bonus per $1000 spent on dues/annual passes etc
Note you can't use the DVA on property to pay off room charges, upgrade tickets in person, etc

We have it taken from checking, too.

Someday I'd like to get "ahead of it" for a year, then pay in one chunk when they are due just so I can get rewards, but for now this is totally good for us.

After paying monthly for years we were finally able to pay by CC in January - boy did that feel good, especially when we got the 3x rewards points!

No it is its own website-it is intended to help people save for their disney vacation. For every $1000 you spend from it (after 4 months of being open) you get a $20 reward (disney gift card) in the mail. Before the website for gift cards had the ability to combine a bunch of small cards onto 1 up to $1000 it was really the only way to combine a lot of gift cards into 1 lump sum. Technically it isn't supposed to be able to be used for DVC dues but it is essentially just a gift card number that you give MS over the phone and they don't know it is a DVA account vs a gift card.

You can also pay your dues online with the vacation account number, no need to deal with MS.

I'm going to have to try the discounted Disney gift cards.

Right now we have the Chase Disney Visa. We use the rewards to pay the dues. Of course I always owe more than the rewards I have, so I'll have to look into the gift cards.

Seems to me the BJ's thing might work for us...

We purchased a resale and our dues are paid for the year. Will we be able to utilize the monthly checking account debit since it's a resale?

I pay myself every two weeks via a direct deposit into an online bank. Then, around November or December, I buy Disney gift cards from Target using my RedCard. Usually, it's just the 5%, but sometimes around the holidays, they offer a 10% discount on a Target gift card for up to $300. I combine the Disney gift cards and use that to pay my dues. Then I pay the Target bill out of my online account.
