I know, but I am not sure where that is.

Along the water, to right of 13 gift shop, past the boat dock and up roped off from main walkway.

The beginning of this video gives you a good visual.

Between the 2 stores along the lake as you go between FW and WS

Between the stores is the FP+ viewing area.

Booked this for 9/15, but it gave me a time of 8pm on a night the park closes at 10pm. Travel agent calendar showed illuminations at 10pm. I thought we'd just have an hour to enjoy. Is the 8pm wrong or will illuminations be at 9?

Same thing on 9/8. I see Illuminations at 10, but the dessert party is still listed as 8 pm.

That will be updated to 9pm.
Illuminations on Fridays & Saturdays during the Food & Wine Festival will be at 10pm instead of at 9 pm. The party will take place an hour before Illuminations.

Yep. and I was posting this at the same time as you. This particular seating really carries even less of an appeal as it's the one show where there are seating choices to be had.

LOL... Illuminations is the one place where seating is less of a big deal. Because there are places where you can dine, seated, and watch.
Just 2 weeks ago, on the night of the Dis party at Epcot, DH, DGD and I walked up to Rose and Crown (no ADR) at 8:00 and got seated right on the rail with a dead on center view of Illuminations. We couldn't have gotten a better seat if we'd planned it out months in advance. I realize it was a fluke and all that but that particular night, there were more empty tables than there were used tables. I think it may not be as hard to see Illuminations seated as folks think it is.
Not doing this party because there are seats. Agree there are lots of places to sit & watch.

I have avoided the illuminations parties in the past because there were no seats. Standing for over an hour at days end not fun!

I am pretty excited about trying something new. With wine

Yes, but not online. Must do over the phone and tell them you're paying with a gift card as that's the way it processes.

Thank you!

Now to determine if I should swap my Extra Evening Hours Epcot day that doesn't have the party with my HS day which would not be extra evening hours for Epcot, or if I should hop to Epcot on our last night of the trip and also the first day of F&W) after a BOG dinner and day in MK... I really wish all events were posted 6 months in advance when we make ADRs so we can plan better...

Yup....had to swap from the EMH Epcot day to accommodate a booking.

I have an unofficial number so until it's verified, I'd rather not say. For those that have done the current party when it was sold out, the difference in number of guests will be quite noticeable.

Makes sense! Do you recall the amount of slots for the previous party at least?

I can't make up my mind. Would four dessert parties in one trip be the absolute height of insanity? I already booked HHDP and plan on booking SWaGSDP and FDP when they open up for October. These acronyms are enough to push me to the edge already....a fourth party might be the thing that actually gets me over. ::yes::

I honestly can't fathom paying so much money for dessert parties that don't even give you a place to sit. We are rope drop to close people, and by the end of the day, we are exhausted and sore.

Not sure what the big issue is with providing some chairs, especially for the money people are shelling out?

Anyone have any speculations on if this will sell out and if so, how soon? Also, does anyone think it's at all likely that they will add more nights for the party?
