As I've mentioned on this board before, I was told by a CM that we couldn't use the gift card for room balance, apparently wrong info. Seems they're all over the place on some of this stuff

Yes, CMs can give bad information. But you definitely can use the Gift Cards to pay for room balance. I personally know 5 families that did just that. They are just like any other gift card.

If you look at the path the showed at D23 you can see where it states Riviera Resort
where the tower will go, and they announced it as DVC. Looks like a station for them.

I don't "think" there was any in Centertown Buffet(At least I don't remember seeing any).

The 15s may have some in their tent-you could try "crashing" it!lol

To get to their tent,just follow the sounds of excited,young voices speaking Portuguese and Spanish wafting through the thick Summer air!lol

Hello all! About two months away from our arrival! Yay! Question for you CBR veterans... our flight lands at MCO at 7:40am, we will then get on the ME to head to CBR! We will only need to drop our carry on luggage at the desk, I will probably change and we will go straight to MK. Not even thinking I scheduled a lunch for BOG at 11:25. Think we can make that in plenty of time? Obviously I know things happen... but think I can make it? I've tried my hardest to grab a BOG lunch for our other MK day but no such luck yet!

We have taken ME to CBR a few times. No worries for you. You will have plenty of time to make it to BOG!

It is thought that Custom House will be going away (or repurposed) and Check-in/Concierge will be part of the "new" OPR.

To my knowledge the Island Market coffee is only free for Refill Mugs.

That's what I was told earlier this year,but Policy could have changed.

As @WEDWDW stated, it is only "free" if you have the refillable mug. Either purchased or received with the Dining Plan.

It is thought that Custom House will be going away (or repurposed) and Check-in/Concierge will be part of the "new" OPR.

Right now the plan is to move the regular check in and concierge into Old Port Royal and then the Custom House will become the Riviera Resort (DVC) Check In.

Now that they have a rendering of a fairly small car, I can't imagine it will be the only way to parks.

Unless there is a major reversal made high up in the corporate ladder, it will definitely not be the only mode of transportation. Believe it or not it is because they realize many people are afraid of heights and claustrophobic.

those gondolas sure look too small for wheelchairs and ECVs. my guess is only 1 could fit in at a time. they look muchsmaller than I imagined. seems like the line would move slowly

It was rumored that Doppelmayer may be the manufacturer of the gondola system. If you go on you tube and type in "doppelmayr gondola" you can see the gondolas.

They would most likely have a Detachable Gondola lift for wheelchairs and strollers or for guests who need extra time to board the gondola.

I agree with you, but others are ready to argue it to the end. Guess we won't know for a couple years.

I saw another video that had larger cars. I think the article I read that accompanied it said the gondolas Disney is looking at will hold 10-12, so about half of a monorail car (or is it a quarter?). Either way, it shouldn't be so cramped. Like the monorail!
