You win some you booze some, a HOT August 2017 dining report! complete 1/25*

by the way, I know most wine drinkers don't like Moscato since it's so sweet; to you I say I've recently also become a fan of many Rieslings, also.
I have just discovered Riesling and found out that I love it. I never used to drink wine. My husband always bought dry red wines like Cabernet Sauvignon and I would never drink them. Then we started to hit the signature restaurants at Disney and I wanted to order wine because it is classier than a mixed drink. ;) So he suggested Riesling and that was love at first sip, the fruitier the better. :)

Artisan Romaine Wedge Salad: Romaine Wedge with Warm Bacon Vinaigrette, Herbed Mascarpone, Tomato, Avocado, and Parmesan
This is delicious. We've been to Narcoossee's twice and have ordered it both times. :)

Grilled Grass Fed Filet Mignon: Yukon Gold Rustic Mash, Roasted Spring Vegetable, Red Wine-Oxtail Reduction
Dana usually orders this, and it is good, but the filet at Citrico's blows this one out of the water. :)

Wild Caught Shrimp and Garganelli Pasta: Spinach, Oven-roasted tomatoes, Basil Pistou, Cheese, and Chardonnay-Garlic Cream.
I had ordered this the first time we dined here based on good reviews, but I wasn't in love with it. I think it must have been an off night. ;)

Almond-Crusted Cheesecake!
We split one of these the first time we ate here. The second time we ate here I insisted that we each get our own serving, it was that good. :)

That's a familiar journey for many wine drinkers, including me. Start with fruity, sweet whites and then "graduate" to drier wines. I might suggest that while you're enjoying Rieslings, begin to look for the drier versions or those that have a bit higher alcohol content, around 11% and above. Further, Austrian Rieslings can often be a bit drier, as well. Meanwhile, if you want to try wines outside of Riesling but not too tart or acidic, a Chenin Blanc is a solid next step. It will offer less sweetness than most Rieslings, but it has a softer side to it unlike many whites. I found that many Pinot Grigios are unimposing and pair well with a variety of foods. Be careful, though. After a while, you may find yourself enjoying a wide variety of vinos. pirate:

Wow! Narcoosees sounds amazing this time. May have to give it another shot, especially for that cheesecake.
Yes definitely give it another shot! Even if your entree is just decent and not spectacular, that cheesecake will blow you away!

Nope. I'm just waiting for Survivor to start :teeth:
Survivor! I watched the first maybe 5 or 6 seasons of that and then stopped and I don't remember why. Maybe something else I wanted to watch was on another channel at the same time :scratchin I can't believe how long that show has lasted!

Your meal looked awesome! I've been trying to get to Narcoossees for dinner since forever, but it never seems to fit into our plans. My boyfriend has been before and he wasn't wowed so he's been dragging his feet when I suggest we go there.
Steve is the same way, once he has an "eh" experience at a Disney restaurant he really gives me a hard time about returning. That's why we haven't been back to Skipper's Canteen although now he says he'll give it another try..........I hope you do get to Narcoossee's because obviously we think it's pretty great!

As for Big Brother I watch that show, its great! I definitely think Paul is going to win it all, I'd be shocked if he didn't.
Me too! I love the last couple episodes when even he's shocked that everyone just takes what he says and runs with it

. It's amazed me how this season all the guys in showmances have been throwing 500,000 away for a girl they only just met.
Guys be crazy :rotfl2:Did you watch it way back when Jeff and Jordan were on? They're married now with a baby and even he didn't act as stupid and goofy as these guys.

I too am a HUGE Narcoossees fan. We have had brunch there once
I remember reading your brunch review, and that one along with some other reviews have made me want to try their brunch!

Just found your dining review. Wow, you guys eat well!
lol, if the food is worth it we'll pay the price, and we do love to eat! Oh and :welcome: glad you're here!

Also Matt's preferred weather app, but I don't like it. I have like 5 b/c I am obsessed with weather tracking.
I have to admit it works FAIRLY well, but it's not foolproof. I love when Steve tells me it's going to rain in 4 minutes for approx. 13 minutes, and then it either doesn't rain or it lasts for 2 hours so I can give him my  look

Looks like another homerun meal for you at Narcoossee's (so many double letters in that name, goodness!). Those desserts are both so beautiful. I think I need both!
Every time I type Narcoossee's I have to look at it and make sure I've doubled the right letters!

Your meal looks delicious and when we go I would like
That's what dining reports are for, so we know what we want before we get there. Saves us time :thumbsup2

Y'all are cute!
Aw, :thanks:

Man you made me VERY hungry! ;)
That was my goal!

Yum your review has made me want to try Narcoossees sometime in the future!
Add it to your ever growing restaurant resort list lol! Seriously you guys have done quite a few of the signatures, you should just do them all :thumbsup2

Ya'll are so cute!
Thank you

That strawberry shortcake looks delicious...
I'm not a huge strawberry shortcake fan but of course I had to try this and it was delicious. I think a true strawberry shortcake fan would absolutely love it :goodvibes

Great review, everything looked amazing but especially that dessert, yum! :thumbsup2
Truly my favorite dessert on property and I love LOTS of desserts on property lol!

Your entire Narcoossee's meal looks incredible! I need to find a way to sneak that in to my next trip. That pasta dish is haunting my dreams!
You should! I'm glad I listened to Chris and booked it last minute, because it was a great meal to begin our trip with after our disasterous BW pizza the night before :crazy2:

You look absolutely stunning in that little black dress. It's so cute and looks wonderful on you
OMG thank you so much! Very sweet of you to say

And your boys are so handsome too. What a nice family you have.
And :thanks: again :goodvibes

I keep thinking I will go back to Narcoossee, but we just never do. I read a so-so review earlier today, which had made me think I don't want to go back. Now your review makes me want to have that shrimp pasta.
That's how I feel about dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I've wanted to go there for a long time and I've booked it about 4x, but always end up cancelling. The first few times I cancelled because I was afraid everyone would hate the food and be made at me lol. For every good review of it you read 5 negative ones. Then I decided what the hell, we're going there! And had it booked for this trip, only to cancel when Chris made his last minute requests. Negative reviews can really sway you from somewhere you've been wanting to try though.

Mike and I are big BB fans, too! I kind of go back and forth about Kevin. At first I didn't like him, then I thought he was a sweet, funny old guy, then I heard he was kind of hitting on/flirting with Christmas and I didn't like him again, but then I heard that his wife is a Neonatal ICU nurse, so I kind of like him…ack! I'm so conflicted! Either way, I think he'll be gone very soon…sorry :guilty:
I thought he was a goner last week but he's still there! Not cool about flirting with Christmas if it's true though. I feel bad that people were ganging up on him for no reason and then when Josh went off on him for asking Christmas if she was going to swim?? But then when Josh went outside and was crying with Christmas and she told him to keep his back to the cameras :rotfl2: Ooh, boy Josh!

I like Paul, too. And honestly, he's the ONLY one really playing the game so I totally think he deserves to win.
That's exactly why he does, everyone else just follows along with what the group is doing. However Jason did go rogue when he refused to use the veto to take Raven off the block and shocked everyone. At that point I told Ricky THAT's how the game USED to be played! Everyone didn't always know what the HOH or person who won the veto was going to do!

I also liked Jason, but then I heard he was making some not so nice jokes about women and I don't like him again
Oh boy I don't like that at all, but then I'm not a fan of Jason or Alex at this point.

The show on tv is waaayyy different from what is actually happening! Do you watch the live feeds?
I know it's crazy different on the live feed, which I don't watch but Ricky tells me all about it!

Not watching, but used to love this show. Sadly between the kid and work I had to give up like 90% of the TV I used to watch, so I"ll just have to live vicariously through you.
::yes:: Yup, that's how it was until Chris was around 9ish. Then I was able to reclaim my TV shows!

Only Disney could make using a new ride system they are trying to hype difficult. So when it is in full deployment will it work through Lyft????
 Actually it does already technically work through Lyft, there's just some little thing that needs to be clicked or whatever to add or open the Minnie Van option. I don't know if it'll remain that way or not once it's rolled out all over, and recently I heard that demand is so high now that WL and AKL have been added it's going to be awhile before it's rolled out anywhere else...................

Oh Steve and I are gonna get along so well. Love me a mule. In fact I may have had a few just last weekend! :drinking1
He made them on Labor Day for my mom and my friend, taught her how to make them, and she proceeded to make them for him, my mom, MIL, and my other friend all day! My older stepson liked them too Ricky wasn't a fan but I didn't say that.

I'm sure you've seen this before, since I am always behind on everything figured, but just in case saw this online the other day and of course thought of you!
560-jpg.266510
Have not seen that but I want it :thumbsup2

Ah, I'm so proud of you!!!! Glad you loved it as much as I do, sans the shrimp of course (which by the way are totally the best part). But don't go thinking you can convince me to order something with mushrooms in return :-)
Damn, I was going to as the bartender at Citricos to mash some up in the blender with a drink for you like my cousin did with the squid to me. Maybe if Casey agrees to meet a princess in Epcot with me I'll refrain from doing that :D

Perfect description of this. I haven't had a good humor bar in like 25 years, but you are dead on with the taste.
It's been years since I've had one but the first time I had the cheesecake it immediately came to mind :goodvibes

That is a fantastic meal at Narcoosee's! You all look lovely in the pics too!
thank you, and it was the perfect meal after our BW pizza the previous night lol!

My boys love mussels too! Of course growing up in PEI and now owning a cottage there, they feast on mussels every summer. Last year they demolished 15 lbs of mussels between the three of them in one sitting!
I can see Ricky sitting down with your boys and not looking up until 15 lbs. of mussels were demolished!

I love the look of that dish but I could not eat a shrimp if you offered me $5,000 to do so. I like your strategy!
I tried a shrimp about 10 years ago for the first time and almost threw up. It's the consistency I know, not the taste, but I can't get myself to chew one. I've tried fried popcorn shrimp a couple times and I get like one down fine but then I remember the actual consistency and I'm done.

Mmmmm, haven't had that since 2009 because of my love affair with the house made candy bar.
Ricky actually had that house made candy bar on our first trip and loved it, but I don't think he remembered this time. I tried it and as a chocolate lover I thought it was delicious! Just can't pass up the cheesecake :)

that's so funny about having to go to boardwalk bakery aftetwards :P My brother always joked about how my nephews could have a full dinner and then eat again a little while later
Chris isn't that bad all the time, but the amount of food Ricky eats on a daily basis is honestly mind-blowing. Boys are so different from girls lol! His friends will come over and EACH of them will grab a family size bag of chips and EACH of them will finish one off, and then they'll all be looking for food an hour later. Make burgers for them? Last night his friend Nick was here. After eating about 25 Italian cookies left over from Labor Day he had 2 burgers, a boat load of fries, a hot dog and about 12 ribs. And less than 2 hours later he had a hunk of cake. He's 5'9" and weighs about 125lbs.

That's one thing we didn't do on our last trip - some fancy desserts!
I can't resist desserts! There have been trips where I'm sad at the end because I feel I haven't eaten ENOUGH fancy desserts :rotfl:

Well, you had me at "staying at WL" since that's our home resort.
I've seen your posts over on the WL thread on the Resorts board :) I've said this before, I never, ever thought I'd like the WL because the theming did nothing for me. However after reading a few of @xlsm's TR's where she said how in love with the resort her family was, I decided I had to see what the hype was all about. It took all of about 10 minutes for me to now it was my "home" at Disney

The Plaza looked good, and while we've made reservations there a few times, we've wound up canceling each time for various reasons. Perhaps, we'll give it a shot someday
It took us awhile to finally try it in 2015 and it's not a place we'll make a point to go to every trip, but it's a huge step up from QS with prices much lower than TS. And the food is good!

However, I just can't buy into the whole mint chocolate ice cream thing, much less with Sprite. I think somewhere in Leviticus it says something about mint and chocolate ice cream being an abomination. pirate:
Well call me a sinner and plop a gallon of mint chocolate chip in front of me, I'll pray later :D

OMG @ariane37 you look no where near old enough to be the mom of that family!
I think you're getting the biggest :thanks: and the biggest  ever given on the DISboards lol!! Seriously thank you for that. It's not because I color my hair or anything :rolleyes1

I have just discovered Riesling and found out that I love it. I never used to drink wine.
I've only started drinking wine in the last year or so. Last summer I was visiting my sister in Ga. We went to her friends house and all she had adult beverage wise was wine......well, I wasn't a fan of this friend so I needed to drink something other than soda or water, and my sister suggested I start with the Moscato. I was hooked :drinking1

I wanted to order wine because it is classier than a mixed drink.
That's how I feel. In the last few years a bunch of wine bars have popped up here, and my friends were always asking me to go. I went sometimes but I'd end up drinking beer which was the only other choice besides wine and I felt weird, so I'm glad now that I can drink like an adult!

We split one of these the first time we ate here. The second time we ate here I insisted that we each get our own serving, it was that good. :)
I rarely share my desserts lol but most definitely will not share my almond-crusted cheesecake!

Thank you for the lesson! I went to a Sangria Festival at the beginning of the summer with some friends and in addition to the various sangria tastings, it included 6 wine tastings. I just wanted 6 tastings of the Riesling but my friends talked me in to trying them all and a couple others weren't that bad, so I believe over time my wine tastes will evolve :)

Guys be crazy :rotfl2:Did you watch it way back when Jeff and Jordan were on? They're married now with a baby and even he didn't act as stupid and goofy as these guys.
I did, he seemed pretty rational. Rachel and Brandon weren't though, but it worked out in Brandon's favor saving Rachel since she won and he married her.

I do understand some not liking what they call "darker hues," though the color palette at WL has lightened in recent years, at least in the rooms. I love that sort of dark, rich color scheme. My first visit some years ago was after a three-night stay in a Holiday Inn along the coast in Melbourne. The a/c barely worked; the carpet was a bit worn from sand (the room DID face the beach); the cleaning solution had been used so much, the room reeked of that disinfectant, flowery stuff; and the beds were simply mediocre. We walked into the Lodge lobby later in the day that we checked out of the Holiday Inn, and wow, just wow. The room was sparkling clean; the a/c worked marvelously; the music was majestic. Fell in love with the place that day.

Sangria is also a good entry wine. . .concoction. The key truly is to keep sampling, keep trying new wine varietals. Some you won't like; others you'll be surprised. I disliked reds for years, finding them too astringent and pithy. Then, I was invited to a VIP dinner where they served a Napa Cab Sauv from a small, near cult-like winery. I tried it and was floored at how wonderful it was. The sky was the limit after that!

I'm watching Big Brother now! I loved Paul last year but he is playing a totally different game this time, not as fun to watch but he really is controlling everything, it's crazy!

A bit late here but loving your review so far! Love Narcoossee's, definitely need to go back again since I'm craving that cheesecake big time now.

WE'RE FINALLY EATING CLUB STYLE!

Hi all! Since my dining report update absence we've all celebrated a holiday and my kids have gone back to school. We had friends and family over on Labor Day which was tons of fun, but the kids returning to school yesterday may have been more fun for me! Unfortunately it poured rain all day, which made for a very filthy kid in my car after football practice. Luckily I had a flat box with school picture day stuff in it that I made him lean back on and lots of JCPenney coupon flyers I made him sit on :cool1:
In tech fail news, some of you may have noticed that I finally posted a picture on my Instagram account! One picture. Because I don't know what else to post. It's linked to my business FB page but......I still don't know what to do with that. Eventually I'll learn but if you got excited that I was active on there, you may as well get unexcited again. For those of you not on Instagram or that don't "follow" me or whatever, here's the adorable pic of my kitty Jazz I posted:

IMG_7284.JPG
Aw, she's my sweet little girl. I also have a 20 lb. huge cat named Jack who is really sweet to humans but not so much to Jazzy: I'll get a picture of him up here eventually but now let's move on to our second full day of the trip, the one in which we switch resorts and move to

OUR FIRST CLUB LEVEL STAY AT THE WILDERNESS LODGE!!!
My plan on our Yacht club check out/WL check in day was to hit AK EMH. Crazy, I know what with having to pack up and give our bags to bell services, but we did it! We weren't at AK much before they opened at 8, but when we got there at 8:03 they were just letting guests through the turnstiles as we walked up to the entrance. As hordes of people ran towards Pandora, we took our time (somewhat) going to EE for 2 rides and then the safari, all walk-ons. By the time we were done with the safari it was about 9:15 and we'd worked up a bit of an appetite! Over to Kusafiri Bakery we went where Ricky got a bagel, Steve got coffee, and Chris and I each got something more interesting:

Warm Colossal Cinnamon Roll: shaped like Mickey! Chris managed to eat all but one ear

IMG_6561.JPG

I got a Disney staple that everyone should try once, the famous Disney Danish, apple version:

IMG_6562.JPG

Oh, and a soda. Danish was a good as a Disney Danish can be

Feeling sustained for awhile we went to show the boys Pandora and use our Na'vi FP. As we entered we came upon the.....drumming ceremony?

IMG_6569.JPG

It was cute and they did get the guests involved.

We rode Na'vi, walked through the gift shop, and realized the heat and humidity was making us thirsty. Being near Pongu Pongu the boys liked the look of the Night Blossom and I revisited a new favorite from our May trip, the Mo'ara Margarita complete with small bursting balls.
Night Blossom: Mixture of Limeade with Apple and Dessert Pear flavors topped with Passion Fruit Boba Balls and Mo'ara Margarita: Conmemorativo Anejo Tequila with Strawberry and Blood Orange flavors topped with Strawberry Boba Balls

IMG_6573.JPG

The boys liked this even though they thought it was way sweet. I once again loved my margarita and I promised I'd have another on all future visits to Pandora :thumbsup2

After using our 2nd FP for KRR we had a bit of a snafu trying to get into a FOTLK show a bit too late; when that didn't work, everyone (else) decided they didn't want to wait around for the next show nor did they want to wait for our 3rd FP for the safari to be up since we'd already ridden it SB earlier in the morning. Being too hot to argue, I agreed to leave and make our way to the buses so we could check in at WL before our lunch ADR. We hadn't gotten a room ready text yet, but we were all excited to see the lounge!

We got lucky and a WL bus pulled up as soon as we got to the bus stop right at 11:40. We had an ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe for 12:30 and arrived there at noon, so plenty of time. Our room was ready on the 7th floor where all Club Level rooms are so of course we wanted to go up, see our view, and look in the lounge since we had time before lunch! We were waiting for a CL CM to come escort us up which didn't happen for about 20 minutes, so eventually the GM came out and escorted us. He showed us the lounge and brought us to our room, where he informed us the Magic Band system was down so our bands not only wouldn't get us in the lounge, but wouldn't get us in our room:headache:
He went down to make us a key to use until the system came up so we checked out the room while we waited. This is what was on the bed:

IMG_6577.JPG

A resort map, welcome letter, our itinerary listing our FP's and ADR's printed out, a note from the chef at Artist Point inviting us to partake from a special menu for Club Level guests if we chose to eat there, and a box full of THIS:

IMG_6579.JPG

A box full of Wilderness Lodge Club Level chocolate!! There were 2 pieces like the top one showing the Totem Pole from the lobby surrounded by those little balls of deliciousness :rolleyes1 not to be confused with the annoying balls of Pandora drinks. It took us a few days to actually break the big bars of chocolate because they were so pretty but we dug into those balls right away!
Eventually the GM came back with ONE KTTW card for us to use for the time being. Oh also, because it had taken so long for someone to escort us up and then because we waited for the KTTW card (not sure why they didn't just give us the key when we were downstairs checking in, but oh, well) he had the on-duty CL CM call down to Whispering Canyon and tell them we'd be a bit late for our ADR. Since he'd done that, we went to the lounge to look around at the snack offerings before going to eat.
Get ready for some pics!

Lots of things weren't full at this time, and the one thing that was missing from the picture below were the strawberry flavored macarons. There had been one out when we walked in but I quickly ate that before I took the picture:

IMG_6580.JPG

The strawberry one was absolutely delicious! The rest, which I tried every flavor of during our stay, ranged from "eh" to "uh-uh". They couldn't hold a candle to the raspberry macaron at the Flower and Garden festival and weren't anywhere near as delicious as the macarons from Toothsome Chocolate Factory over at Citywalk.

IMG_6581.JPG IMG_6582.JPG

At some point one of the boys tried a cupcake and liked it. The little PB&J shooters were not tried but were cute.

**CLUB LOUNGE PICS CONTINUED IN NEXT POST AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!**

OUR FIRST STOP IN THE CLUB LOUNGE, CON'T

IMG_6586.JPG

They also had veggie chips here and not pictured are ingredients to make your own trail mix (my picture came out blurry. I know they had pretzels, marshmallows and small chocolate chips.

For you strange folks that like coffee :P

IMG_6588.JPG

IMG_6589.JPG

A little WL spa water of the day for @Raeven whom I know enjoys it!

IMG_6590.JPG

IMG_6593.JPG

The cooler was kept well stocked pretty much any time of day or night we were there. Occasionally they were out of bottled water and once they were out of Diet Coke, but all you had to do was ask and they brought you some. In reading the general club level thread on the Resorts board before I left, apparently quite a few of the lounges don't keep bottled water out for guests.

What's on tap for later:

IMG_6594.JPG

We looked around at the view from above into the lobby and went out the doors onto a small deck where the GM told us you can see HEA; they also pipe in the music. Other than the macaroon and a cupcake we didn't have anything else yet since we had a lunch reservation to get to, but we'd be back! Before we left the lounge we spent a few minutes having James, the club level CM on duty, check to see if he could get our MB's linked properly but the system was still down. As we headed back down to the lobby for lunch I snuck a peek out the window in the hallway of the 7th floor:

IMG_6595.JPG

So gorgeous! I was thrilled to be trying CL and also couldn't wait to show my boys around my favorite resort. But first, we don't just look at the food, we EAT it!

Luckily I had a flat box with school picture day stuff in it that I made him lean back on and lots of JCPenney coupon flyers I made him sit on

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

MacGuyver has nothing on a mom trying to avoid a mess.

I saw this AND liked it when I noticed it on Instagram!! I love this kitty...I want a cat, but I just don't know how that would work with all the dogs! My chihuahua is kind of like a cat!!

where he informed us the Magic Band system was down so our bands not only wouldn't get us in the lounge, but wouldn't get us in our room:headache:

Aw, boo! I'm glad they called down to Whispering Canyon for you so you could explore the lounge and see your room and everything though. I hope the MB issues were resolved quickly later!

I think this chocolate is the only real reason I want to stay Club Level :rotfl:

I have an irrational aversion to open containers of peanut butter. It makes no sense, but I do! I think it stems from season two of The Real World on MTV, years and years ago.

Xavier would drink all the juice boxes and Leyton would drink all the chocolate milk.

Serious envy! Those look like the same macarons from the California Grill, which I could happily eat my weight in. How can I justify CL for my next trip :teacher: gotta break out the calculator for Disney math!

I'm watching Big Brother now! I loved Paul last year but he is playing a totally different game this time, not as fun to watch but he really is controlling everything, it's crazy!
I'm waiting for tonight's episode as I type! I agree Paul is playing differently this year BUT, the other house guests are letting him. They are totally letting HIM control THEM, and I think it's so funny that Paul knows this. Of course in last nights episode Josh seems to have finally caught on...........we'll see what happens!

A bit late here but loving your review so far! Love Narcoossee's, definitely need to go back again since I'm craving that cheesecake big time now.
:thanks: I'm glad you're enjoying :goodvibes I hope you get back to Narcoossee's soon!

Love those Mickey cinnamon rolls--perfect with a Starbucks triple tall latte!
 Steve works for Starbucks so drinks it every day; the boys have their favorite Frappe's (cream based, not coffee based!). I however am a cappuccino drinker and I'm not a fan of theirs, so I stick with their teas!

I must get my hands on that mickey cinnamon roll!
I was in the restroom while Steve did the ordering and when I saw that roll I was a bit envious that he'd ordered it and I had the danish! But my danish was great as always.

MacGuyver has nothing on a mom trying to avoid a mess.
You know it! Today I was prepared with an old sheet to cover the seat as it was raining again :thumbsup2

I want a cat, but I just don't know how that would work with all the dogs! My chihuahua is kind of like a cat!!
Growing up we always had a black lab along with cats. The cats usually beat the crap out of the poor dog!

I think this chocolate is the only real reason I want to stay Club Level :rotfl:
I knew we'd get chocolates in our room at CL but I had no idea they would be this adorable :love:and delicious, too!

Those look like the same macarons from the California Grill, which I could happily eat my weight in.
I remember seeing them in a dining report (probably yours) and I think they are. Even though I only really liked the strawberry one, I'm pretty sure Steve enjoyed every flavor :)

OMG! The WL CL looks amazing!!!!
We'll definitely be back!

here's the adorable pic of my kitty Jazz I posted
The cat bed is really cute. It looks like a miniature sofa. Jazzy is cute, too. :)

Feeling sustained for awhile we went to show the boys Pandora and use our Na'vi FP. As we entered we came upon the.....drumming ceremony?
We've haven't seen that yet. It was too hot and crowded in July to hang around Pandora. I'm looking forward to returning in cooler weather.

A resort map, welcome letter, our itinerary listing our FP's and ADR's printed out, a note from the chef at Artist Point inviting us to partake from a special menu for Club Level guests if we chose to eat there, and a box full of THIS:
It is really nice of them to print out the itinerary, but it also feels a little creepy to have them know everything you are planning.

When we stayed WL CL we got a free cheese plate from Artist Point. It was our first time having this appetizer and we had a lot of fun sampling everything. :)

In reading the general club level thread on the Resorts board before I left, apparently quite a few of the lounges don't keep bottled water out for guests.
I could never figure out why the lounges were so stingy with bottled water. It is nice to see that WL CL serves the bottles of water.

As we headed back down to the lobby for lunch I snuck a peek out the window in the hallway of the 7th floor:
That is a lovely picture. We stayed club level during construction and I was very disappointed that the window was blocked off. I was looking forward to that view.
