I think tonight is the first night of the Cafe Orleans package. Hoping someone will post a review here soon. Specifically, someone previously posted that a CM said Cafe Orleans would be standing only to fit more people. Wondering if that is true.

Isn't Fantasmic weekends only now? I would assume that the next showings won't be until Friday now.

Has anyone had any luck switching their tickets at BB from 1st show to 2nd show?
We have a booking for 6.50pm and were allocated the first show but would really like to watch the fireworks from I front of the castle before going to 2nd show. If we push our reservation back any later we won't have time to get a good fireworks position.

Last time I went to the BB, the waiter asked me which show I wanted to watch. You can ask your waiter and surely they'd oblige without an issue.

Just to be a second witness to what Curlyxz explained, I stopped by the BB twice during my trip last week and asked two different hostesses if you can request whichever show you time you want. (I'm planning to do this later this year and wanted to make sure we could get the second showing without having to book a dinner at 7:30 or later) They both said yes, you just tell your waiter and they will give you whichever show time you request.

Does anyone know the Cafe Orleans menu for this? Was planning on eating there anyway so if the monte Cristo is on the Fantasmic menu I think we will.

So heres my 2 cents as I just did BB fantasmic package, they will let you choose your show. buttttttt I highly recommend getting to the queue area an hour before the show which is located across from haunted mansion. they will split all 3 dining packaged into lines and they clear out the whole area, BB gets right in the middle of the stage area in the front. they also give you a nice foam cushion to sit on for the show. IMO sooooo worth the package deal as Ive never had front row middle seats of the stage like that before. pic at bottom was my view.

Thankyou for posting - your view looks like it was great. My son and I are doing this in 3wks - can't wait! Cheers : )

Hmmm...you may be right. The parks blog announcement had said CO F! would start Sept. 5, but it looks like you're right...no show tonight.

all shows looks like they are weekends, my firework terrace dessert reservation was cancelled cause they suddenly made the transition

Blue Bayou package was soooo worth it! The chocolate cake is amazing! We only had to wait about 15 minutes for a water table.

We loved our front row seats for the show. We lined up around 7:30 and were about 20th in line.

EDIT: I don't know how to share pictures, but I promise the view was great! :-)

I thought I'd add in my two cents here as well (nothing really new from what's been posted though :p).

We did a BB package on Sunday, Aug 27. We had an early reservation which worked out perfectly with two young(ish) kids (age 5 and 9). It got us out of the heat in the late afternoon (reservation was for 4:40), and it took less then 10 minutes to wait for a water table.

The food was delicious. My 5 year old did not eat much.. mostly because it was quite a decent portion and he's not a big eater (both kids had the chicken with spaghetti and marinara). My 9 year old ate everything, but couldn't quite finish her dessert and she was stuffed. I had the salmon dish - very good! And the chocolate hazelnut cake for dessert - also very yummy.

We were given seat cushions, which was a bonus! I wasn't sure what to expect.

My daughter and I decided to ride Pirates around 7:40(ish).. somewhere around there, but it took longer than I expected. We arrived at the line up later than I hoped (probably around 8:15ish). They let us in right away that the section was decently full at that time. But we had no trouble finding spots about 4 people back from the front, and had lots of leg room/space and still had a great view.

I really couldn't tell if there was a difference in dining sections. At the end of the show the guy next to me asked if we got the seat cushions with the BB package, so my feeling is that BB did not have its "own" section that night and they must have combined them.

This was a total splurge for us, but I felt it was so worth it! I can't imagine doing regular fastpass with small kids, standing, and trying to see the show. We're spoiled now!

Are you allowed to have one person wait in line while the rest of your group go off and do another ride? Just thinking of keeping the children occupied during the wait in line. More sanity for all!!

Right after we got let in at 8:00 my newly potty trained two year old declared she had to go to the bathroom. We just had to go ask for fastpasses to get back in. We also went and got drinks for the show since we were out anyway and ended up being gone for quite a while. My husband guarded our front row seats and said he got quite a few dirty looks (as expected).

Also to add to my review - our 2 year old at the BB dinner just shared our meal. However, we did order her a milk. They also brought her out a veggie plate. They didn't charge us anything for her even for the milk.

Edit to add: I realize that doesn't really answer your question about waiting in line, but expect to make some people mad if you cut the line to get back with your party or if you save seats.

we ended up making friends with the gentlemen infront of me who was holding stuff for his wife and daughter till the line opened and the cast was super accommodating letting them through before they started letting the areas in

There's not so much a "line" as a mob, in our experience... it's kind of like the WOC "holding" areas before you get let in, so the dynamic expects that your group is all together.

I'm not sure what's "allowed," but it would be challenging to stake out a large space with just one person, and I'm sure you'd encounter some pushback from those around you... now, if you're a big group who sends a couple people off, that's probably not such a big deal, and like PP, we did a bathroom run with our daughter and that was fine - but that was after we'd already gotten our spot, set down all our stuff, people had seen us and knew it was a mom taking her kid to the bathroom, etc.
