How are December fast passes going?

I'm just wondering if fast passes have been hard to come by like ADRs were. What's been your experience so far?

I got everything I wanted when I booked 10/3, for early December trip dates. The only ones that were tricky were Flight of Passage and Navi River. I could have gotten either on my AK day, but only one time available for each. I took FOP at 5:30pm. There was nothing earlier. Now I was about three hours late to try booking because I forgot to do it at 7:00am.

Just looked for you, and on 12/9 there are plenty of FP's for Pandora rides.

There were plenty for things like Mine Train, Frozen Ever After, Test Track, R & R coaster.

I got most of mine this morning. Hoping the times work out. MK was spot on for one day with the touring plan we're following. I choose Na'vi FP so all of us can ride it together. If others want to try FoP, we can get there early. We've never done AK and the animals are high on dd's list!

My window opened this morning and I didn't have any issues getting any rides or times! On the website when I clicked into 'ride info and more times' (something like that) I was presented with times for the whole day (except FOP on my day 2)!

Same experience as everyone else. I was about 30min late in booking them but got everything I wanted. Except for 7DMT on our 1st full day, just had to take a later time than I wanted so not a huge deal.

I'm happy this was the case because I was nervous! I can't get any new ADRs right now!

Oh, I agree so much with this! I want to fling things at the computer when I'm trying to make ADRs for our December trip (this year we're going 12/3-13). I think free dining has a lot to do with it because when I book for our June trip, every single restaurant is available with multiple choices of times. When I'm booking for December, it's like a record on repeat for dinner: The Wave, Grand Floridian Cafe, repeat. I then stalk the website for months to try and get variety, and eventually end up just booking ADRs the night before when people cancel to avoid the fee!

Got FOP for my party of 5 on the first day we could book. We are staying on site, booked for our 5th day. We have the ADRs we want. This is for a stay December 1-6.

I have a second part to my stay, December 7-11. Those folks have not bought tickets yet, even though I have told them about FP, and they have not been in over 15 years.

Booked my fast passes yesterday with no issues was able to get everything including FOP(note was my 3rd day) FEA (note was my 2nd day).

I've had good luck with the Touring Plans reservation finder. It's found every one I tried (though admittedly, only 1 of them was a hard to get, the others were just changes in times I wanted that weren't available when I looked)

I did try that, but I was never fast enough once I got a notification that the ADR I wanted was available.

I booked at 7am 10-3. FP for FOP were only available at 66 & 67 days out. NRR were available everyday. 7DMT only had availability in the afternoons and eves. Those were the only hard FP I attempted.

I just did my FPs yesterday for our Dec 3-10 trip. I was only able to get FoP on Dec 9. I am sure I could have gotten them on Dec 10, but that is leaving day which is our MK day as well. My sister is going for 5 days this month and FoP was unavailable her entire trip. I am guessing that FoP is extremely hard to get unless you can get them at 66+ days.

Got all of the attractions I wanted, mostly on the days I wanted. The one that tripped me up the most, which I wasn't expecting, was meeting Mickey at the Town Square Theater. I had hoped to have that be one of our first items of the trip, but it may be one of the last. We'll figure it out.

I just had an opportunity to look for FPs based on a short visit beginning December 4. Even though we won’t be going to DAK on this trip I was curious to see how availability would be for FOP.

For a group of 4 there were no FPS for FOP available for our arrival day (Monday) or Wednesday, but they were available for Tuesday and Thursday. I did not book any because we wouldn’t be using them. I checked again 90 minutes after the window opened and they were still available for those two days. The availability was for late afternoon and evening.

Me either. The only time I ever get notice is in the middle of the night (2am, 3am, etc) It has never woken me up so I don't see it until I wake up and by then they are gone. I am still pretty satisfied with what we got but some of the times are just a little quirky. All I am trying to do now is adjust the times to be a bit more reasonable for my 2 year old.
