Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Does anyone know when they will release details of any Easter activities at the resort?

This was posted on the Safeway thread in the Resorts forum. I haven't used a delivery service, so I can't verify this personally. I think some recent guests have used Safeway for delivery, so they may be able to confirm this info:

ETA: above address appears to be the address for the Poly.

Anyone know why the address would be different than the one I have always known for the resort?

Disney's Beach Club Resort
1800 Epcot Resort Boulevard
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830

You have the correct address that I used for the Beach Club when we used Safeway. I must have already changed it to the Poly when I responded, sorry about that. We have used Safeway at the BC, Poly, and Coronado amd every time the delivery was great, highly recommend using them.

I just booked a one bedroom BCV for our anniversary (May 29th). We're going May 23-31!

We debated between the space of the villa and a concierge level room, and the space won out. We like to relax in the room, and would rather have a living room, our own washer/dryer so we don't bring home dirty clothes (and I don't have to go to the laundry room to do it), and the kitchen we'll stock with snacks and wine/champagne/beer and breakfast food (although I don't eat breakfast).

I haven't stayed at the Beach Club since we had kids (and honestly it was a disaster with housekeeping back then). We love Epcot and will enjoy the last weekend of F&G! Of course now that our youngest is away in college (I'm a stay at home mom) for the first time we'll get to go to F&W in the fall! Getting DH an annual pass (I'm upgrading my ticket to one in March).

Did you book a BWV as stated, or a BCV?

We usually don't see the Easter (or 4th of July) (or Halloween) (or Christmas) activities until the calendar for that month is posted. That usually happens on the first day of that month. With Easter being on April 1st this year (no kidding!), not sure if we will have a way to find out what is going on in advance.

Sometimes guests who are staying club level during the first of the month can request a schedule of activities early. If someone does that and shares the info with me, I'll post it here.

You could try to contact the Beach Club Recreation Dept at the end of March, but I don't have info about how to do that.

Got my birthday booked for the Beach Club at a 20% discount this June, directly with Disney. Anyone do any better there during June with a higher percent off?

Thanks! I figured it would often come out with first of the month calendars, but was not sure if they would put it out early since Easter is on the 1st. I will just keep my eyes out. It would be nice to know at least a few days in advance to try and plan.

Beach Club room 4709
standard view
two queen beds, daybed, connecting door and standing (small) balcony, fourth floor, view of main pool - Storm Along Bay

This room was above Martha's Vineyard Lounge and just below the club level floor. It wasn't too far from the elevators and it is a relatively quiet area because there aren't a lot of rooms in this hallway. You could hear the music from the afternoon pool party but otherwise the room location was fairly quiet. The room has a standing balcony, which was disappointing, but the view wasn't too bad. It had a great view of the fireworks from Hollywood Studios. This is the third standard room that we have had in this area and we have come to like the location because it has a better view than most of the garden/woods view rooms.

I made a copy of this post for the Beach Club room views thread. :)

My only room request was for a full balcony and so far we are still running 50/50 on full versus standing balconies. We are more likely to get a full balcony when we book a garden/woods view room than when we book a standard view. We have had four standard view rooms and only one of them had the full balcony.
