Has anybody gotten FD for any dates ending Nov28-Dec1? (Beginning in the Nov24-27 window)., Especially at AoA or Pop?

Someone this morning got 24-30 atpop but couldn’t get any longer. Rumor is the weekend of dec 1-2 is full bc of pop warner

I agree with you. Something similar happened to me now that I think about it when I first changed to the SUmmer Offer back in March (just in case I didn’t get free dining I want some savings). I think that’s how that incorrect Canadian offer got in there. I was clicking around like mad trying to find out why it wouldn’t give me the offer at the right price. It never told me it WASN”T available but I knew because the price was wrong. I never did get it right because of the country mishap. The cast member I spoke to on the phone fixed it for me later though.

Glad a CM helped you. Were you able to secure FD at Pop for your dates? I've tried and tried without success so we're going in December. Booked flights this morning so guess the decision is officially made for us...lol...I think!!

I'm just glad that I haven't convinced my husband that we're actually going on this trip. Less stress to make sure the FD actually goes through.

Ditto! My husband and his father are both going on this trip. My husband inherited his father’s anxiety when it comes to dropping large sums of money at once (even when pre-planned). That’s why I do all the vacation planning and savings (separate account that he doesn’t see so he really has no idea what is being spent). LoL. All other big decisions are out in the open but he actually likes being out of the loop for these things since he wants to do vacations despite the cost....blissful ignorance.

Been following this thread for a few days. I booked POP for 8/20-8/26..This morning at 5:30 when I tried to modify for the FD I kept getting the error page. I must have tried over 10 times. So I logged on my phone under the "private browser" and re-booked the entire package (with success) and was just going to cancel the other one.
I go online to check and my original reservation now has the FD added to it, however it has the original price still there!
Now I have 2 reservations for the same exact thing, but with 2 diff prices! Will the lesser amount update on its own?
I'm planning to call to cancel one when phone lines lessen down. Did this happen to anyone else?

Boo. I thought about doing that but since we have 2 hotel rooms, the cost differential was going to be about $2000 because of the way I split up the people in the two rooms (only upgrading one of the rooms to deluxe). I really was hoping that would be a viable option. CSR it is.

CSR is a great moderate though! The updated rooms have great storage & nicer bathrooms now. And that pool will always be one of my kids’ favorites. They’ve always loved that slide! The construction didn’t bother us at all while we were last there in November. I think you will be happy with your FD choice.

No I was at PORFQ and switched both hotel rooms to standard rooms at Coronado Springs this morning at 5:07 am. My dates are August 23-30.

I've been trying to keep up with the posts and have seen yes and no to my question. I have reservations at POP for Nov 24 - Dec 2 and tried to add the FD promo this morning. When I try to modify my reservation, the FD promo is listed, but it will not add it to my reservation. In the past, as long as your arrival date was during the promotion, I know it would carry through for your entire trip. Is it different this year with Nov. 28-Dec. 6 being excluded? Should the FD promo be available for the Nov 24-Dec 2 trip? I plan on calling once the lines are less busy, but hoped someone could give me some insight. Thanks!

I am in the same situation. Pop from 11/26-12/5. Shows the promo is available to me but will not let me add me. Called, waited 2 hours and they tried to tell me I would only get free dining for the 26th. I argued it. I highly doubt they would make everyone do a split stay when the dining window is only 3 days and they require a 4 night minimum. Then got disconnected. If they show the offer available to me, I feel like it should be available.

Did you have dining added to the package already? If you didn’t then that explains why the price didn’t budge. Otherwise, I dunno. I’d keep them both until you can call like you said. I also noticed that it took several hours to the website to update with the correct hotel but I got confirmation e-mails. Eventually they update online but not on the iPhone app.

Mine mentioned Saturday night that he was ready to go back to Disney again that he'd really love to go at Christmas time. In my head I heard let's book a vacation this year! lol He has no clue I've already put down the $200 deposit. Oh well if he says no I can always get it back.

Thank you! That’s good to hear. I was considering CSR in the beginning but switched to POR last minute. I got used to the idea so I was a little hesitant to let it go but you can’t beat free food.

I am still on hold, going on 40min. No music just soft static. Hoping to add FD to my BC reservation in Dec. Hope this works because I'm tired of waiting.

I could not. There was no availability unless I wanted club level or a cl 2 bdrm suite. I had been warbed in advance to have a back up resort to move to.

Everyone still trying, keep calling because many people are booking things in hopes of moving stuff around and will be cancelling them as decisions are made. We had the Contemporary CL booked along with Boardwalk CL and the Grand CL all at one time today and finally made our decision and cancelled the other 2! We had one booked as a bounceback from last year and then my husband booked one when he called on the phone and got through and I booked the other while I was online! LOL!

We were going with or without free dining, it was just icing on the cake!

Does anyone know if POP ever has more rooms open up later? I booked it fine around 10am, but booked standard. There was still pool view available, but I was in a rush so decided to modify later. Bad plan. Now it's booked to capacity. Any chance I'll get to change that before we leave?

It appears that there is no availability for FD at POP From dec 1st-2nd, maybe bc they’re saving rooms for pop warner football week.

Not sure if this will actually help with availability for anyone, but my TA and I both woke up at o-dark-thirty to book the FD package for Pop 8/25 - 9/8. As luck would have it, we ended up with duplicate FD packages. Now that my brain is back to functioning well enough to make halfway intelligent decisions, I am about to cancel the package that I booked as we will be going with the TA's package.

Hopefully this will help some frustrated DISer out!
