I miss judged how much I had left and unfortunately my tried and true everyday sunscreen takes a few weeks to ship from overseas :(

What’s your favorite that’s easy to get in the US? Extra points if it tends to work well under makeup. Talk to me about your everyday sunscreen!

Edit-Thanks for all the suggestions so far!

La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Body and Face Sunscreen SPF 60 Melt-In Sunscreen Milk; fantastic under makeup! I usually get at Ulta using one of their coupons.

Seems like Neutrogena about has the shelf space market cornered when it comes to sunscreen.
And, I am not a fan of their products.

I do have the liquid lotion that is mentioned above.
I mix it in with some base makeup.
But wish there were something better.

And, something that does not STINK!
They all smell horrid, or smell like elmer's glue.
Feel like it too.

I did look at a bottle of the Laroche Posay at CVS. It didn't seem any better than the others?
I don't think it was the melt-in, though.
I will have to look into that one.

I don't wear much makeup but I like Murad invisiblur. It supposedly acts like a primer so it should be good under makeup. I use it over my moisturizer. The smell is a little much though, imo.

I just recently bought Sun Bum (from Ulta, I think they sell it elsewhere, too). So far I love it. It doesn't make my face feel greasy, it seriously feels like I'm wearing nothing. I've tried several Neutrogena sunscreens and they are so thick and make my skin feel just gross. I wear sunscreen every day, so I need something that also doesn't clog my pours. A couple of years ago I started using Bare Minerals Prep Step. It was lightly tinted and had SPF 50, but they have temporarily stopped producing it. I loved it so much, and it was very light on my face.

All my makeup has sunscreen in it so I don't wear a separate one:

Plantscription SPF 25 Power Anti-Aging Oil-Free Cream

DR. JART+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid Broad Spectrum SPF 70. This IS my under makeup moisturizer whenever I am outdoors in sun (or even hazy days).

Same here. I use the generic version of the Neutrogena, it has the same active ingredients for 1/2 the price.

I can be picky about name brand cosmetics, but things like OTC meds and body care I'm fine with generic.

It seems like Neutrogena is a favorite, but I’m not a fan either Wishing. There is something about purely chemical sunscreens that doesn’t agree with my skin. Almost nothing gives me skin issues but chemical sunscreens. I don’t know which ingredient it is that gives me troubles, but Neutrogena seems to be the worst.

I’ll check out LaRoche Posey, I’ve heard good things and I think they make a mineral version or at least one with a mineral component.

Which Sun Bum do you use? I’ve seen it while browsing Ulta.

MrsDuck, what does that Melt-In seem to smell like.
Unscented... Elmers glue... or some type of 'fragrance'?

Right now, for my upper body, I am using an old large tube of Ocean Potion with that wonderful frangrance!
I mix it 1/2 with that liquid Lotion, because they changed the formula to cheaper base ingredients on the Ocean Potion, and it stays tacky/greasy.
Mixing it 1/2 with that liquid lotion helps with the 'feel'. And I still get some of that wonderful fragrance!

We are heading to the beach soon, and I also find that the OP is just NOT water resistant enough.
We break out the heavy duty stuff for that.
