Anyone up? Harry & Meghan Royal Wedding Watch thread

I try not to pick apart what someone wears. Just being royal from Diana's I thought they would expect the same as what Diana wore. She may have lost weight after her fitting. This would be stressful time as the world is now engulfed in your life.
 
You know, I think the fact that people could offer opinions on the dress or the music meant they had a very successful ceremony, given that the past weeks have been so disastrous with her family. Nobody really knew for sure if there would be problems or not - some of her relatives were in town uninvited. It's great that it seemingly went off without a hitch, so good for her, and good for them. She handled it all amazingly well. They had a normal wedding, and these are the conversations that everyone has at weddings. I haven't seen any ill intent here - many of us have been anticipating this for a long time and got up in the middle of the night to watch. Had we been over there I'm sure most of us would've been out along the road waving flags or whatever. Sending our love. So it remains a joyous occasion here and elsewhere. :flower1:
 


I love William and Harry. So nice to see Harry happy. I think both of those boys deserve a good happily ever after.
The wedding was very nice and I thought she looked great.
The preacher...well...he started off quite an interesting breath of fresh air but there reached a point where it started to feel like too much. I half expected to see Harry signal for security to escort him out lol
 
I thought the Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Essex looked really beautiful. The Duchess of Cambridge looked amazing, as always. Has she ever looked not perfect??
 


Her mom didn’t look happy but having not seen her before she could be overwhelmed

Gayle King kept saying she wished she wasn't sitting alone. It made me think of what must've been going through her mind. Pictures from yesterday and this morning showed her smiling broadly. Today she probably had a lot of emotions and maybe nervousness, discomfort, idk. It must've been kind of weird sitting there with this huge, royal family and there she was representing Meghan's family - all alone. That had to feel sort of awkward. But she did a great job holding it together. She seems strong to me.

Such a shame no one was with her
Nice that Charles escorted her out
 
I heard she wasn’t as they were grown when she was little. Lots of family drama and she didn’t invite them.
