What do you think is the likelihood that The Void at Disney Springs will extend “Star Wars, Secrets of the Empire” past 6/15? I know my son would love to try that... we’ll be there 6/28.
Fingers crossed

The available booking dates goes until July 15th right now. Did you mean 7/15? Otherwise, your date of 6/28 is open. Enjoy! :chewy::darth:

We are going in October and I really want to try it! We were going to go in February, but we ended up adding a day of park tickets instead.

We are hoping to go on July 17. I've noticed that all times are always available, even on the busiest days (for example, look around July 4--every time is available for every day!). I read somewhere that they sell tickets indiscriminately--buying a ticket for a particular time isn't actually reserving that time, and they don't limit the number of tickets sold for any given day or time, even though this is a very low capacity attraction. So people show up thinking they have a ticket/reservation for 12:45 and can end up waiting forever to actually get in. I don't understand the logic of selling "timed" tickets, where the time on the ticket is actually meaningless, and where the number of tickets sold has no relationship to the actual capacity of the venue. And what would be the point of pre-purchasing the ticket way in advance, if people can walk up the day of and get in line right with you, or more likely in front of you? Sounds like a recipe for disaster at a place as crowded as WDW, but maybe it just doesn't get that much business and so it rarely becomes a problem.

I'd like to buy tickets for around two hours before we have to leave Disney Springs to catch DME to the airport on our last day, but I'm afraid of standing there with $120 worth of tickets and not being able to get in before we have to leave. To be honest, I've never read about anyone having to wait two hours to get in, and I probably shouldn't be worried about it. But I hate the idea of not knowing. And I think it's a little dishonest of them to have you choose a time when you buy tickets as though it actually means something. Am I missing something here?
Any thoughts or advice?

I have done it twice, once a couple days after Christmas and once last week, and both times I walked up at my designated time and walked right in. If you're concerned, you could always go early and check the line.

I went in the afternoon of a wet day last week. I was able to book any time the day before, but waited for some time (half an hour or so) to get in, and there were definitely more than three other people with 4pm tickets. I'd allow a couple of hours in your schedule.

DH and I are hoping to do this in October. We had to skip it on our March trip because our niece was pretty wiped out on our "rest/Disney Springs" day. We ended up not going to Disney Springs at all.

We're hitting up the Void this Sunday morning before heading over to Hollywood Studios for Galactic Nights! I can't wait! I'm so excited to try this experience.

Now I feel a lot less foolish for not having bought tickets already. And we leave in 9 days. Sounds like just doing walkup won't make much of a difference.
