Grocery delivery to DVC resorts questions

Hello! We are considering trying Amazon Prime Now in a couple weeks for our Trip, but I have a couple of questions first.

We will be on a cruise for three days prior to our WDW stay. Can I order four days ahead and ask for it to be delivered on a certain day?

Second, will they leave the groceries with bell services, or do we have to be there to get them? I have ordered from Gatden Grocer in the past and they just left our stuff and we sent for it when we could. It was super convenient. But I like the prices better at Prime Now.

Thanks.
1. You can only order 1 day in advance (or on the day of delivery).
2. I believe they will leave your groceries with bell services, but I can't say with certainty since I ordered after I arrived and met the delivery person in the lobby (per my request).

We’ve used Prime Pantry several times now. I did notice last week that Disney charged me a $5.00 handling fee to receive my box and deliver to the room.

The others are right -Amazon doesn’t deliver alcohol. We typically stay at BWV and buy alcohol at the gas station across the street.

Just a reminder that Prime Pantry and Prime Now are two totally different things. Prime Pantry ships food like other Amazon orders, they are delivered through the package systems. Prime Now is a fresh food delivery service, including fresh meats, veggies and fruits and dairy that comes from a local grocery warehouse, often using the Whole Foods warehouse if there is a whole foods in the area, as Whole Foods is now an Amazon company. They do deliver alcohol in some areas, but not in the Orlando market. They deliver to Bell Services like other local food delivery options, and there is no resort charge.

Following up on my earlier post in this thread - Amazon Prime Now just started offering beer and wine delivery in the Orlando area.
Great, I was wanting to use them put we adults love to sit back with a glass of wine or a cold beer after a long day in the parks. Thanks for the update...smjj

Only thing is that you must meet the driver in person if you order beer/wine from prime now. They can drop off at bell services if there is no alcohol. Garden grocer can drop off to bell services including beer/wine if you send them a picture of your license.
ETA I just bought some small boxed wine (like 500 ML boxes) and packed them in my luggage this trip.

Unfortunately Garden Grocer are now priced out of the market. I did the same cart with GG and Instacart, who both shop at Publix, and GG had a 50% mark up on the food.
It was a good service, but will see it’s market share now quickly erode as people realise how they were hiking the food prices. Just look at bananas, it’s bananas.

We just used Publix through Instacart last week and were pleased with the prices. Delivery was a half hour earlier than I requested but everything worked out. We weren’t in our room quite yet but bell Services took us and our groceries and granddaughter’s crib at the same time.
