Just a heads up if you weren't aware.....today my 180 window opened up for our December trip and we'll be staying at WL. I got all my dining reservations including the coveted Cali Grill brunch but couldn't get Artists Point. When I called the special guest service line I was informed that they are reimagining this restaurant and haven't opened up the window for it yet. Whew! Hopefully it won't be under construction when we're go and it is simply a change in menu.

Thanks for the heads up. Many people have been complaining that they haven't been able to get an ADR here.

It looks like the last Sunday in October is the last day for ADRs until when, who knows? This was going to be a treat for hubby and I so I hope it gets worked out in time for our early December trip. I dont think I can squeeze it into the October schedule!

Gotta say - that's Corporate Speak for "AP dies in late October". How to push this: start saying that AP is going out of business.
It probably isn't.... but it's likely to provoke a little data from WDW. And it's accurate, based on the lack of any other credible data.
When someone will not speak - ask how they suffered the loss of their tongue, sympathetically.

All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong.

Booked it for October just to experience it in its current version one last time. Given this, and the changes to Whispering Canyon, it appears WL top brass is under pressure to increase revenues from locations. Let's hope it's for the better. TBH though, I'd say yet another character meal is overkill, but that happened a long time ago. At the very least, it would be an unimaginative path and generic path to increasing booking.

The Rusty Scupper has posted a suspicious rumor regarding AP. . .one that I hope isn't true but likely will be. . .
Yup - I suggest that AP is dead as a SIG, after Oct 2018. We'll let WDW tell me that I am wrong :(.
The really BAD part? No real SIG at all at the Wilderness Lodge :(.
Cab to GF, or Contemporary.... about $10/leg (with 20% tip), party of two...

Yup, I posted a while ago in the reservations forum about how I couldn't get anything in November when my 180+10 window opened.

We also had the same problem for December and got the same reply from Disney. I really hope they do not change dinner into a character meal as we will then have to choose somewhere else for my daughters birthday meal :(
