Apologies if this has been asked before...

In the refurbished rooms do housekeeping make and put away the pull down bed each day?
How easy is it to pull down each evening for use?

Thanks

We stayed there about 3 weeks ago. Our kids slept in the Murphy. It was made and put up every day. We always made sure there were no items laying on it or under it. It's extremely easy to lower; I held my sleeping 36lb daughter with one arm and pulled the bed down easily with the other. Extremely easy.

Did everyone get the letter from POP management about the possible noise coming from the Sky Liner construction? I'm staying late Sept
these letters are always hit or miss. Some get them, others do not. We were there in Jan during construction - no letter. We’re going again in Aug and have not received a letter this time either.

There really is no rhyme or reason about who receives them and who does not.

I received mine yesterday snail mail....its just apologizes for the noise/eyesore during construction...and it say there sound be no noise before 9am and after dusk....just a FYI

I got one around the 35 or so point? I just assumed it was about the room refurbs. I’m not concerned because we won’t really be at the resort except to sleep

I went with a friend in May, and we received no letter. We did have a flyer in the room talking about the Skyliner itself, its route, etc, but nothing about construction.

I got an e-mail slightly less than 90 days out from our trip. I happened to notice it in my junk mail. For those that are curious, this is what it said:

We are delighted you have chosen to stay with us at Disney's Pop Century Resort!

Walt Disney once spoke of how his creations would never be complete as long as there is imagination left in the world. It is in this spirit that we have embarked on creating a new transportation system, Disney Skyliner, which will give Guests a bird’s-eye view of Walt Disney World® Resort while traveling via gondolas. This transportation system will connect future Guests of Disney's Pop Century Resort with Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, the International Gateway at Epcot® and other Resorts.

While we work our magic, the Resort will be in full operation with all amenities available to you, including our dining, merchandise and recreation locations. It is possible that you may see or hear construction, but noise should not be heard from your Guest room between dusk and 9:00am. We apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding. Please know we are making every effort to ensure your comfort and enjoyment.

If you have questions or need assistance prior to your arrival, please contact your travel agent directly.

General Manager Jeff Korte and the team at Disney's Pop Century Resort look forward to your arrival and wish you a truly magical stay!

Sincerely,

Disney Destinations, LLC

Ours was made up and left down today. Guess different mouse keepers do it differently.

Thanks to everyone for the great information about pop century! I cannot find any thing about the murphy beds... Are they only for children? Adults? Weight Limits? My mom and I are heading down in September, we have stayed at pop before. But after reading about the refurbished rooms and the pull down bed I'm worried that we will have to share a bed! Any info about this is appreciated!
