It is almost bedtime and I set off tomorrow for 15 glorious days in the Polynesian Club level, and I can't wait. I was at WDW last year and the year before but have never even visited the Poly yet.

Hope I like it! I am so excited.
15 days. Wow! Congratulations! You won’t want to leave.

My DD14 and I recently stayed in Rarotonga 1826. We couldn't have been happier with the location of our standard view room. It was literally a 30 second walk to the Great Ceremonial House and minutes to the pool and other points at the resort. Even though it was a 1st floor room and faced the monerail, it was very quiet and private. We couldn't have had a better room, unless it was on the 3rd floor with a balcony.

We are also leaving tomorrow! Unfortunately we have to get through a whole day of work before leaving in the evening Driving to the airport tomorrow night and leaving first thing Thursday morning for the Poly! Can’t wait!!!

That's how I'm feeling today - how am I going to get through this day at work??? Have a safe trip and see you around the lava pool :thumbsup2

Only 8 more days until I am at the beautiful Polynesian!!! Planning three lovely resort days and 5 park days with some rest time built into them. Can't wait to watch EWP and HEA from the beach with a Lapu Lapu!

Sounds like a great time! Hope you have a great trip :wizard:.

T-minus 4 days until we leave!! Getting so so excited, by also terrified as I'm working on my masters and I have a huge final for the day before we go. Its this weird combo of "I can't wait" and "oh no, I need more time". It'll be a double relief of finishing a super hard class and finally getting to go on our dream vacation!!

Good luck on your final! Hope you have a nice relaxing time at the Poly :goodvibes.

16 days for me... and now I'm debating canceling our Saana reservation on arrival day (we should be there by noon) and getting a Cabana rental and having a chill pool day.

I also put in a request for a "balcony room" but i'm wondering if i should say balcony or patio. I'd just like a space for me and my husband to hang out and talk at night when the kids go to sleep.

Have a great trip :yay:.

Tomorrow at this time we'll be on the road :yay: Staying at Pop tomorrow night since we won't get in until late, but will be at the Polynesian Thursday :cloud9:

We were in 1821 from last Monday to Saturday. Loved the monorail view! And the location.

Glad to hear such positive reports from Rarotonga! I think I’ve settled in requesting 1st floor, Rarotonga. We have always been Tokelau fans and prefer that side of the resort. I think we’d be happy with this building.

Our countdown is officially in the teens today :cool1:

:yay: :yay:

We finally broke the 300 mark and are officially at 299!

It seems far away, but your trip will be here before you know it ;).

We're at exactly 80 days.
I've been going through a month of pretty daunting health problems so I'm really looking forward to the chance to get away.
I'm so excited for my first Disney visit, and to see the Polynesian.

I hope you have a nice relaxing trip :).

33 days and our DME luggage tags arrived today!! It’s our children’s first trip (DD4 and DS2) and our first stay at the Poly; even though it’ll be a short trip, I can’t wait!

The Poly is amazing, you will love it! Hope you have a great time :wizard:.

We check in at the Poly 2 weeks from today! Sooo excited!

Hope you have a great trip! :cool1: :cool1:

I wish there was a Polynesian Village Resort in Disneyland, California. We are trying to plan our trip, and nothing is jumping out at me.

I have stayed at all three Disneyland resorts and The Grand is the best but out of the world pricey. You do get your own private entrance to CA so that does help and you do get in an hour early to each park on seperate days. My second favorite is Paradise Pier. I love the beach scene and the views of CA are great. If you don't care about staying at Disney resort there are plenty of places in walking distance that are hundreds of dollars cheaper a night. I am going there on Friday and opted to stay at the Candy Cane Inn which is within walking distance and also offers a shuttle. They get really good reviews and I would be happy to let you know what I think.
