What is your favorite pastry or dessert at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie? I've never been and am hoping to get a pastry and/or dessert when we are there this Thursday!

I love getting the Brie and Apple Baguette for breakfast... warmed please.

I don't remember what it was called, but it was a meringue sandwich with a filling of lemon custard and fresh raspberries. Yum!

I can vouch for this strategy:

1. Scope out the display cases, pick a) one sweet to eat immediately and b) several more that look like they will travel well. The staff will pack these up for you.

2. Find a seat inside and have a) with your beverage of choice.

3. Eat the first of b) at a table outside.

4. Eat the second of b) strolling around WS.

5. Eat the rest of b) in your room that night. Maybe save one to have with coffee in your room in the morning. A microwaved Pain au Chocolat is a good beginning to the day.

6. Rearrange the remainder of your trip to repeat every day. Variation on Step 2. Start with a sandwich, preferably the Brie aux Pommes, warm.

7. Plan your next trip to stay in an Epcot resort so you can walk across the bridge every morning and be at the door when they open at 9.

Mousse au Chocolat is a favorite and the perfect size for me and DS to share after splitting a Jambon Beurre, Croissant Jambon Fromage, or Quiche Florentine

:lmao: :rotfl2: I love this. You've put a lot of thought (and hard work) into this.

Ummmm... are we related because this is exactly my DS17's strategy every day.

The roule aux fromage was the standout for us. Also enjoyed the chocolate brioche. The eclair left a lot to be desired. Can’t wait to try more!

DH got the eclair and I just got one of the chocolate chunk cookies, but both were excellent!

Whatever looks best to your eyes.

Chocolate may be your thing - satisfy that craving with mousse.

Berries & cream may be your thing - satisfy that need with the obvious.

Coffee is another option - Liegois is perfect.

Maybe you like a combination of pastry cream & chocolate - eclair.

So I agree with the person above, "All of them!"

The chocolat tarte - it's got a layer of caramel cream, then some chocolate mousse and it's topped with a thin layer of crisp, dark chocolate - soo good!

This is the best thing I've ever read on the Disboards!!!:worship:

This is pretty much my strategy every trip. Who knew we were separated at birth?!?!:rotfl:

Easy...Napoleon. The only thing DH requests each trip. We go to Epcot on arrival evening and share one then buy one or two for breakfast in our room. We bought a marble rolling pin, marble cutting board and Julia Child's French cooking books to learn to make our own. French pastry obsessed here.

Croque Monsieur is my favorite, albeit more of a lunch food than a dessert. The Pain au Chocolat is also amazing!
