Priceline Express Deals

If you book a Disney hotel via Priceline for 2 people, do you need to do an extra step in order to use Magical Express? I linked the reservation to MDE, and added the second person to the reservation. Is that all I need to do, or do I need to phone to officially add the second person? We won't book the shuttle for a while, but just wanted to make sure we'll be able to once the time comes. TIA!
They wouldn't book it over the phone for me since I booked third party. I was given a website to request it. It was very easy. Disneysmagicalexpress.com/usa

Hello! I've been lurking off and on for a while. I have a bounce back booked for July, but I was playing around today and had this pop up. Any insights?

July 21-29
4 Star Hotel
$182/night
54% off
WDW Bonnet Creek
Restaurant
Free Internet Access
Swimming Pool
8+ guest rating

This is almost for sure Disney right?

Always a risk, but based on amenities/last booked rate, my best guess is this $182/night find is Wilderness Lodge. :)

I am also seeing these likely deals for your dates:
Boardwalk Inn for $180/night
Yacht Club for $189/night
Beach Club for $225/night

(They are all "extra" offers that pop up on the results page after you click the original 4-star $182/night offer)

Good luck if you decide to book!

I am new to this. How do you make sure you're getting an actual Disney resort? What clues do you use to try and figure out which resort it might be? Also, if you book through Priceline will you still get your 60 day FP+ and Magical Express? Are the deals really that good?
Read through this thread and you'll pick up on all the details and tips. Keep in mind that some of the tips mentioned earlier in the thread are unfortunately obsolete now (like, there used to be resort descriptions on the deal page, but they are gone now). But you can still look at the resort area (Bonnet Creek), star rating, amenities listed, reviews & last booked price to guess which resort it is.

Yes, you can still book 60-day FP+ with a reservation as long as you have purchased tickets and linked them to your MDE. And you can still book Magical Express. The deals people are finding right now are definitely really good! It is of course always a risk to book since you don't know for sure what resort you are getting until you've paid.

Thank you so much!

Everything except Beach Club seems especially tempting.

I have some thinking to do. Honestly. I'm more nervous about booking something nonrefundable 8 months in advance and less nervous about going through the Express Deals. I may wait until closer to time to take the plunge. Hopefully, there will still be availability.

It might be worth calling back with hopes of getting a different Castmember. I called the wholesale dept. less than a week ago and they were able to add our two children to the room. The entire phone call lasted less than five minutes. Couldn’t have been easier.

As far as your 60-day window, nothing to worry about there. As long as everyone is a connected friend in the MDX app you’ll be able to make FP for everyone at 60 days out.

Oh great, thank you! I thought she would have to be on the hotel reservation in order to book her FP 60 days out. She is connected through my MDE app. I will call back again and hopefully get a friendlier cast member. :)

Feb 9-10th, found a 4 star Bonnet Creek hotel for $195 described as: When you book a 4-star Express Deal, you'll get high standards of service, upscale amenities and beautiful decor. Hotel Canary says it's definitely a Disney hotel, but I'm nervous....what do you guys think?

ETA: decided to go for it, it was Wilderness Lodge!!

I was just about to reply that my guess was Wilderness Lodge. Congrats!

Good idea, but she is 30 so I don't think she can pass for 17 any more. ;)
lol, I just meant for getting them to add her. Then go to the front desk upon arrival and correct her age so you pay the extra adult fee.
Let us know what ends up happening.
