Has anyone used their Barclay arrival to fund PNC? I have seen 2 people on different boards, one said it went through as a purchase and the other said it went through as a cash advance.

@Haley R I haven’t caught up from last night but I loved Boathouse and would love to go back. It’s not impossible to get a less expensive meal there. The lobster bisque is lovely. We went to Paddlefish fish last month just to try it and Boathouse is way better! I vote Boathouse.

It'll definitely be this summer before me (aka DH) gets it. Just got him CSP and am planning to get him CIU before then for one last round of URs before Disney! Timing of the Hyatt card will probably be June or July. Maybe they'll have another increased offer by then.

@Haley R you're going to love Homecomin! DH and I went in November. We actually didn't have an ADR, we went to Disney Springs on a Saturday night and just put our names down and shopped while we waited. It was an hour and a half wait, but OMG it was so good. We were super hungry by the time we sat down so we ordered a stupid amount of food. I only wish we'd saved room for dessert!

So interesting DP... I PCed my CSP to CFU in early October. I held on to a referral link and used it to apply for CSP for DH in late December. Just realized I had 10k points pending on my CFU!

So after three tries I finally got was able buy a MO with a Visa gift card! The first two tries were definitely user error - the first time I picked credit instead of debit as my form of payment, the second time I thought I knew the pin number because I had read it's usually the last 4 digits of the card and I had quickly looked at the packaging and didn't see the pin, but after looked closer I saw the pin inside. So finally success! I got the MO from my local Dillon's store (Kroger). The cashier didn't seem to care to see me swipe the card at all. Not sure that I'll do much of this in the future, I haven't researched much to know if there's a way to make it very profitable based on the cards that I have. But, if I get in a bind and need to meet an MSR or if I want to try to put some spending on my Amex's to get out of their doghouse, I wanted to know if it was at least an option.

Yum. I'm debating lunch or brunch or dinner here for our trip this summer We could do our arrival dinner, because our flight will land at either 4pm or 8pm. Or lunch or brunch depending on DAH events... I think if they have DAH for MK we might do that instead of a ticket for there, so we could have lunch that day. Or brunch before we head to port for the cruise.

We're doing lunch at Homecomin on our HS DAH day. We want to do the Wreck It Ralph experience at the Void, eat lunch at Homecomin, and then go back to our resort and get ready for DAH

Half my msr met with taxes (and all of citi aa biz met) so productive afternoon.


ETA- I know some people don't believe in paying for the convenience fee but for $73 I made my MSR for 70,000 AA miles (currently selling for $1881, conservatively estimated value at $0.01/mi would place that at $700) and for $27 for 3000 MRs (est $30) so definitely worth it to me for something we had to painfully pay anyway.

OMG!!! My Dh messaged me asking if I ordered a new Apple Watch from Walmart!!! Why would I do that when I just got an apple watch on black friday? Somehow someone got into our walmart account and ordered an apple watch for $529 with my Amex. The dumb part is they shipped it to our house! Why would you use someone else's account to order something and ship it to their house? Doesn't make any sense. Dh changed his password for his Walmart account and we cancelled the order.
