Just checked my referral link that I'd updated on 12/8 and it was no longer available. Neither was my CFU so I went on to get a new one since they'd emailed me yesterday and when I went to refer a friend the Hyatt card wasn't an option. I did add CSP though. There was a Marriott and IHG card and I think SW as far as travel, but on the refer a friend page there was only I think 12 chase cards that had referral options.

Yes, just show it. I always let them know when I'm ready to order.

We’re a fam of adults and tbh... we had a great time this fall! My Mom even told me last week “I wish Disneyland would work a deal to re-open Rainforest Cafe” (we went once years ago and didn’t care too much for it and decided to try again in WDW last year) and I went “I bet Landry’s could work a great deal to come back! Rumor says they gutted it so they could use it to test a bunch of new special effects!”

Would we pick RFC over Wine Bar George? Hell no! But we don’t have WBG out West

I have only been to Raiforest Cafe in suburban Chicago, but they have the worst service and seating ever. Seriously have a wait time at least an hour every time we go and once you get seated, there are empty tables everywhere. We went when DS was younger but haven’t been in a couple years because of the wait, even as a Landry’s member.

Also, I’m a sleep deprived idiot and I shredded my replacement freedom instead of the expired one. So I put in for a new card online, said it was arrive in 3-5 business days. 8 business days later, I called and they overnighted a second card. both arrived today.

I guess I can give one to my dh to us for gas this quarter.

@SouthFayetteFan @wendow , I'm dying over here reading your banter from last night! I'm always late to the party, work is kicking my butt right now. Just wanted to chime in about Rainforest Cafe. I had an ADR booked for my recent trip in the early evening on our AK day, but my DD fell asleep! She fell asleep almost every day as we were about to have dinner, ugh. Totally didn't plan for that one. I had a Landry's gift card for the dinner, but I decided to swap ADR's last minute for Yak and Yeti. First time eating there and it was on my bucketlist. I must say it was SO GOOD! Still want DD to experience Rainforest Cafe though next time

Oh I forgot yak n yeti is landry's! Off to amazon...

suggest trying using ChasePay on gas. $.10 off +5x with 76, $.05 off + $5x with Shell.
I never swipe my card at the gas station anymore... i got my card swiped a few times from gas stations.

Got caught up in the AMEX staples chargebacks. They caught that DH got credit for both his own biz card plus his employee card attached to my account So far they're at $65, but we pretty much maxed it on both cards. Ah well, mainly I'm annoyed because I thought we were in the clear by now.

Yeah but Spring Break is various dates in March and April. DS school has Spring Break 3/23-3/30 but April 21 is Easter so many schools here, especially Catholic schools, have Spring Break 4/19-4/28, so end of April.

Your ds's is the same dates as our district, and based on the crowd calendars, a lot of kids have spring break that same week. Regardless, I bet you are right though...they moved the dates because of Easter being so late...Oh well, we aren't doing parks but it's making airfare and hotels very $$.

I also have some guilt that we are leaving during my kid's spring break (and not taking them)...also my ds7's bday is the 27th and we have to fly out that morning...he says he is okay with it but oh man, the guilt is real. His grandparents will be here so he is excited about that and we will celebrate big with him before. I could not go and just send dh but I've not been able to go in the past (when the conference was at CR!) and he really wants me along. So, anyways, just venting a bit about why I'm disappointed on the timing...

Getting out just in time because I guess it's supposed to snow here tonight. And getting to the airport later than planned because DH got caught up in meetings. Not sure well make it to Timberline ah well, hopefully the meetings lead to sales which will make up for our mostly free dinner.

May I ask, was this insurance supplied by credit card? And do you mean your flight was cancelled by airline, or you cancelled the flight?

You are right, most hotels let you cancel few days before the arrival. But our upcoming Intercontinental stay has 1 week cutoff time. They will charge average rate to the credit card in case of cancellation or no-show. I am guessing it will be about $500.

It was separate travel insurance (actually from Disney but provided by TravelGuard I believe). We cancelled flights booked with miles, plus Disney hotels, because my dad was diagnosed terminal 1 month before our trip. The insurance covered the $150 we were charged to redeposit miles. I can’t recall what else we had to have reimbursed because I’m pretty sure the Disney hotels were refundable at that point (or maybe not, it was 5 years ago, I may be remembering incorrectly but I do recall getting a check for $150 for the airline fee)

Out of caution, I would suggest p1 and p2 (and p3, p4...) have separate bank accounts that don't include the names of any other player(s) (e.g., no joint accounts).

But yeah, I have a Venmo account linked to an old individual account of mine. My wife has a Venmo account linked to an old individual account of hers. I send her payments for this and that all the time. I sent her a $500 payment the other week for pet sitting our doggy over the holidays. No problems.

Great good call on the individual account. My vanilla gc won’t load. Which ones do you have luck with?

Oh no that stinks.....I’m always afraid of forgetting my Disney or SW cards when we go to Orlando...so I now have a travel envelope where I keep them along with any Disney gift cards
