I Found My Happily Ever After! A Jan '19 TR! + Bonus August TR *COMPLETED 12/2*

I loved that one so much! I would have gotten a second one but the line was too long!

So simple and yet so fun!

It was so tasty! I wish it wasn't so cold out so I could have enjoyed it a little more!

It really is so simple! I'm a fan of adult coloring so this was right up my alley :)
I love that paint by number/pixel mural! Hubby would LOVE that. He's so OCD, it would be right up his alley :rotfl2:. I hope to go to all the Epcot festivals someday.

It was such a fun little experience!!

That was my goal too! This one officially completed it :)

Yall's pictures are adorable! I would love to be able to go during the Festival of the Arts at some point--seems like such a fun festival!

Aww thanks! It was a fun festival to experience, a lot of cool things to see and do!

I LOVE Kyle's sweatshirt! And all the pictures are wonderful. Can't wait to read more.

He got it at the Disney Store! Thank you so much :) Enjoy your upcoming trip!

I didn't know they had little hidden artwork throughout the WS; how cool!

Ahh, I love that German Mickey head prop for your PP pic! I gotta hunt that down in June..

Your description of the Mickey drawing made me laugh....still a million times better than anything I could draw so I was impressed.

Seems like you two got to spend a lot of time in WS exploring, which sounds like a lot of fun.

It was a cool perk of the festival, I wish I saw more of them!

The Germany prop is a must for you! I like that the countries each have their own mickey heads, you just gotta get lucky and hope the PP has the prop!

Hahaha well thanks! He definitely could have been worse!

We really did, it was nice just slowly walking around without any real place to be!

:rotfl: But still an admirable job!

Judging from the picture... I think so, too!

Oooh, I love it when you can get the monorail in the background! :thumbsup2

Great pictures throughout this update! :goodvibes

Hahah thanks! ;)

I was surprised how much he liked it! I think he's a secret Frozen fan!

Getting the monorail was a total coincidence! We stopped to take the pic with the fountain in the background and got totally lucky when the monorail zoomed by!

Thank you!!

How fun to do the mural and the animation academy! I would definitely want to do those too if I were there for the festival. Such great pictures, I love all the little details you captured :)

I really liked being there for the festival, a lot of little things that made the experience cool!

And thank you! :)

January 28th- Epcot Evening!

Once we were done with World Showcase we had a little time before dinner so we rode Living with the Land. I'm pretty sure I was able to get a FP for it.

After that we checked into our ADR for Coral Reef! I was really excited to finally try this restaurant! We were seated at a great table on the aquarium floor.

Our waitress, Kim, was FANTASTIC! She was so sweet and talked to us about the fish in the tanks and explained some of the menu items. When she asked what brought us to the restaurant Kyle just looked at me, laughed, and said "Boy Meets World". She got a kick out of this and pointed out both the table they sat at in that show and the one used on Full House. I was a happy camper :)

To start we split an order of the lobster bisque, which Kim even had them split into two cups which made it so much easier! We both really enjoyed this.

For our main course, we each got the mahi mahi.

This was soooo good!! We both pretty much devoured our plates!

Before we left, Kim took a picture for us and commented on what a lovely couple we were :lovestruc. I made sure to leave her a cast compliment on Twitter!

It was a little after 7 when we left the restaurant. I left it up to Kyle if he wanted to stay for Illuminations but he didn't feel like waiting another 2 hours so we decided to make our way out of the park.

On our way, I peaked in to see Baymax and how long the line was and color me shocked when Kyle said we could wait to meet him since the line was short! I don't think we even waited 5 minutes before getting our pic with him!

We stopped for some final pictures before leaving the park.

Since we were back at the hotel early and didn't get any dessert at Coral Reef, I used the
opportunity to grab a Mickey bar on the way back to the room :)

Throughout the day we kept saying to each other how much fun we were having. It really was a fantastic day!

Up next...Back to the dark side!

What a fun day at Epcot for you two

Coral Reef sounds very nice and I’m glad the food was delicious

I love a Mickey ice cream bar, yum!!

What a great end to your day! I'm so happy you enjoyed your dinner at Coral Reef! I think me and DH are going to do it again in December if they offer a Candlelight processional package!

so we rode Living with the Land.
I have a strange fascination with this ride. I really can't explain it, but I love it, ever since I first rode it as a 9 year old many seasons ago.

On our way, I peaked in to see Baymax and how long the line was and color me shocked when Kyle said we could wait to meet him since the line was short! I don't think we even waited 5 minutes before getting our pic with him!
Nice that you had a short wait. I waited over an hour for him! But he's a fun meet.

I didn't know Boy Meets World did an Epcot appearance! Cool! I do remember that Full House episode :daisy:.

Coral Reef looks good! I’m not a big seafood fan other than the basic fish and chips and shrimp. But I think I would like the atmosphere so might have to add it to my list!

I was able to log on and snag a set for Frozen Ever After later in the afternoon!

Yesss, love same day FPs!

This is such a cute photo op!

As I was looking around, I mentioned to Kyle that this specific artist (Jerrod Maruyama) was one of my faves. A CM overheard me and said "Oh, if you like him he's going to be here at 1pm signing!". I looked at the clock and realized that was only 5 minutes away!

Whattt how cool! And how fateful that a CM happened to overhear you!

haha this is great! Makes me really want to visit during this festival

Aww! Another thing that makes me want to see Festival of the Arts!

Super cool photo! SSE looks like the sun or something!

Nothing better than seeing this sign!!

Is this your picture of the arch sign?

Awesome!

Thanks for the great pictures of POP. Mark and I are going to be staying there one night before a weekend at the Yacht Club in October. He will be flying in late after work, I'll be there earlier, so I will have a chance to explore POP and AoA before he gets there.

What a fantastic arrival day!

Wow, if Animal Kingdom Lodge and zebra domes don't wow him and win him over to Disney, I'm not sure what will.

Well played (and I don't mean the putt-putt).

::yes::

Oh, no!!!

That stinks that it was such a miserable, rainy day at Islands of Adventure, and that Kyle was feeling crappy for so much of it :(

Smart move picking up some Dramamine. We take Bonine before visiting US/IoA. So many things to induce nausea.

Kudos to you for conquering Hulk, though! It really is a fun, smooth coaster.

Here's to better days for the rest of your trip!

:thumbsup2

What a fabulous morning!!!

Soarin', Nemo, Spaceship Earth, yummy mac snack, Test Track, great character interaction and how lucky were you having a chance opportunity to meet a favorite artist. All before 1:30 pm.

The prints are adorable!

But here is skeptical me. Did you know beforehand what Jerrod Maruyama looks like? Wouldn't it be a hoot if CMs were trying to sell artwork by telling shoppers- Oh, guess what, the "artist" is going to be here for signings in, like, 5 minutes. And then they pull another CM from backstage for a meet & greet.

The exact opposite of a recent story of a woman who was sitting next to a famous musician and listening to his music (can't remember who it was now), but she didn't recognize him. After the flight, the singer posted about sitting next to a fan who didn't realize it!

Can't wait to see what the afternoon holds for you.

:dogdance:

The chalk art, and the hidden artwork throughout the park during the festival is really cool. That is great that there is a new way to enjoy EPCOT. The photopass props are also incredible. I love the picture pictures!

In this picture, I am trying to figure out if the lantern in the archway is an intentional hidden Mickey, or just an optical illusion. Never noticed it before.

The paint-by-numbers wall looks like fun and I adore the Mickey drawings you both did.

But my favorite thing in these updates is your Frozen ride photo!

Awesome shot!!!

I love the color of Spaceship earth here. I'm not sure I have ever seen this shade before.

Always a YAY for Living with the Land!

It has been years since my family has dined at Coral Reef. Used to be one of our go-tos. I'm so glad you had an excellent meal, fantastic views and an incredible waitress.

Your selfie with Baymax is soooooooo cute!

No better way to end a terrific day than with a Mickey bar.

:cool1:
