We are having our ECV dropped of at AKL and we are transferring over to beach club for a split stay. Can we request a Minnie van that can accommodate a ECV? If not how would you get it from AKL to beach club? TIA

Yes, you can ask for the accessible Minnie Van. :)

Other options are:
- Take a taxi
- Call a Lyft or Uber
- Use internal Disney Transportation (whatever combo of boats, buses and Monorail you want)

If not how would you get it from AKL to beach club?
Specifically, if you were to choose internal transportation: bus to AK then bus to BC. Or bus to DHS, self-transport or Friendship Boat to BC. Or bus to MK then bus to BC. Or bus to DS then bus to BC.

You can't bring luggage on internal transportation.

Bell services can transfer your luggage for you though, much easier than lugging it yourselves.

When we do split stays, we tend to have been services deal with it, go to the parks for the day, then just use Disney Transportation to the new resort.

When we have done split stays before, we packed a day bag with everything we may need in it (plus medicine, electronics, swim suits, etc). We are staying a few nights at BLT then moving over to AKL in October and will have two EVCs. Our plan was to just walk over to MK and take the bus to AKL. Will this not work to bring a day bag?

It depends on your day bag, if it is a purse or similar sized bag, you would probably be ok, but nothing with wheels.

Thanks! I'm just hearing that some Minnie Vans can take two EVCs. Have you ever used them? There are eight of us, so a few would still need to go to MK to transfer or call a Lyft (instead of paying for two Minnie Vans).

Also, walking from CR/BLT to MK you will go through MK security along the walking path, which may not be very fun with a packed day bag.

A better option may be to take the bus from CR to AK and then switch to the AKL bus - you stay within the bus depot area, so no security checks involved.

Or since there are ECVs, take an accessible Minnie Van direct to AKL.
