That really sucks and I didn't know they could do that. I knew they can move you but didn't realize if you paid for a class of seats they could move you to a lower class.

Here is my step moms Havanese. First one I knew in real life, such a fun sweet guy! His name is Gus... so I of course called him Gus Gus i miss him more than my family.

I do too. And I keep going to the pet store to hold puppies but I'm just not ready yet. These pictures of all your dogs are just making my night. I have a mouse on my patio I named Gus Gus. He still lives, because I protect him from he who traps mice in our home. .

Jet Blue Mint seats are awesome

We have a direct flight to Orlando on Jetblue from our city and the airport is 20 minutes away! I can't wait to try Mint class. Just finishing up an MSR on the Biz card!

I was actually just wondering what happened to you! You didn’t post much but you got me interested in going for Hilton cards. I never figured out a strategy there and then chasing AA miles captured my attention instead.

Well that just makes me smile. Oh my gosh @wendow. I had the best most wonderful stay at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando with free night certs and some points in March. I'll have to do a review of that soon. We went just after we lost Cheyenne and it was so serene and quiet... I spent more time there than in the parks. We're going to the Hilton Garden Inn on Kauai in September. So many good uses for our Hilton points. My Aspire card is my very favorite! Now, I know nothing about chasing AA miles so that's something new I might learn from you!;-)

Foley is nothing at all like Hilton Head/Savannah. There are pros and cons to both. Foley will have the Gulf waters which are generally calmer than the Atlantic waters. The sand will be finer so there will be no bike riding on the beach. Foley is closer to what we call the "Emerald Beach" to mean they can be as beautiful as the Caribbean at times. Hilton Head is one of kind with the big oaks, bike rides, Sea Pines and Ritas which is a must every visit etc. I like both but they are different One good plus is Foley has a Lamberts restaurant which is home cooking and is known for literally throwing rolls at you! Awesome food and great for families

I think you are referring to a different place. Folly Beach is in Charleston on the Atlantic.

Better than vineyard vines but I think not as good as lilly. Though that could be because less stuff was sent with the whole boot issue. I think more of the hunter stuff made it to clearance than lilly. People that grew up here don't generally wear rain boots, use umbrellas etc. With the exceotion of if you are gardening in the wet/rain or something like that. You'll see kids in boots but I'm sure that's a combination of jumping in puddles and cute kids boots. It's not often I see someone wearing hunter boots but it happens more than seeing lilly or vv.

Just had the weirdest experience with Amex chat.

I typed "cancel Delta card" to get an agent. I had to ditch the Delta gold as it was time for the AF to hit.

The agent came on and simply said "ok"

Then a list of legal fine print came up. Agent said "Want to cancel?" and I said yes.

She never once tried to get me to keep the card or even verify in writing what account I wanted to close!

It seriously took under 60 seconds. A little unnerving. $95 saved tho I guess.

No, it makes perfect sense for where you're from and where you live. The PNW isn't into this type of stuff for the most part. Kind of like if I was to wear flannel in the south, it'd look weird. Or birkenstocks, which I don't wear to start with but people do year round here, most people with socks. Socks with their teva's too. Fleece, flannel and gortex make up a lot of wardrobes out here, not be but I'm also not going hiking etc. I'd much rather wear the LP and VV than the other for my wardrobe if I had to chose, but really I'd rather do neither except for the fleece which is just a hoodie replacement when it gets chilly.

Oh my goodness, I’m so irritated with this winter that won’t end! We are down in CO Springs and it’s snowing so hard we can’t even see out the windows. 5-8 inches tonight

I don't know if this will help, but I do the gathering of the stuff on one day and then do the actual packing on another day. It feels less daunting if I break it up a bit.
