Are you giving them gabapentin? (That's my guess based on your comment about it being the same med your DH takes for back pain.) If so, this is what I give one of my cats when I have to take her to the vet -- she would actually be okay in the carrier but she would be a total demon to try to examine if she weren't sedated. Anyway, if it is gabapentin, there is a liquid form that I have found is the easiest to administer -- just open her mouth and squirt it in.

The actual owner card. I don't think they were offering an employee bonus back when I did it, I had the make one purchase, get 60k points offer.

I couldn't "activate" either of my employee cards I received this week. Very frustrating - they worked for a purchase (I was attempting to get the match so I wanted to use each of them) so I just gave up on activating.

I would love to book a cruise for June 2020 but I don’t know if I can get the $6000 from a few bank bonuses. I am thinking of getting the Chase CIP but am still far off from covering what I need.

Well I plan on MSing the Ebates credit card. That should be at least $300 a month. I also plan on going for pure cash back cards now that I am over 5/24. MS on the Gold next year 25,000 for each SO and I should yield. 2,500.

Bad news - our AC went out, coming up on the hottest week in Florida (and in a loooong while) today It's supposed to be in the 100's!

Good news - I haven't received the bill for our large medical expense yet, which was going to knock out the $2k MSR on the Citi AA Biz, and half of the $1K on the Aviator Biz.

New plan is to put the new AC unit on those 2 cards, which will meet that same goal (so thankful our AC guy takes CCs!).

Then, apply for CIP#2 for P2 late next week (CIP#1 was on 3/13), and meet half of that MSR with the med bill. I was stressed there for a minute by having a large purchase that wouldn't go towards an MSR!

When I first started watching award seats last summer, there were several good connections through IAH from EWR and PHL at 80K for business. Now, they are not available for business saver seats on those dates when the IAH-SYD leg is available at 80K. Bleh. I can see them for cash seats. I can see the economy saver seats that used to be 40K---now 70K

Killing me - still waiting for my new boss to ok the dates for my Europe trip for next spring that I've been planning for a year and I'm desperately worried my totally viable plan to get 4 people workable flights on points is going to go up in smoke!

You know you're close to vacation when American lets you pick your meals! Whoo hoo! 28 days until we fly from PHL to BUD in biz (thanks to this thread!). I chose diabetic for mom (she'll be mad but hey, she's a diabetic so...) and chicken for me. DD doesn't like any of the choices of course Apparently chicken nuggets aren't in the chef's repertoire,lol. I'm tempted to just order something I like for her since it's a known fact that whatever your seat mate gets is better than what you ordered!

Yes, order her a meal too. You never know which one will be grosser. This is why when I'm traveling for work and ordering takeout from an unfamiliar restaurant I always order an app, dinner AND dessert - at least one of the three is generally edible

Funny - you and I were doing the same thing in New York at about the same time. We charged $311 and received the $300 lux credit + the $40 Amex offer as well. Feels good to get that fee back! I literally said "I love credit cards so much!" about a half dozen times while in New York!

That is funny! You made money off your stay! Better than us. We did NYC for free (Hyatt) but then used the lux credit plus the $40 deal on a $600 (3 nights) bill at a Marriott in a Philly suburb. Really not bad! I was saying the same thing in NYC since there's no way we would have chosen the Park Hyatt at over $1K per night.

Omg, the bands are like all gone. I was trying to checkout yesterday and it was giving me problems and now everything is gone. I hope they get more options up. If I don't get one for our June trip I hope we can get some for December.
