Disney's CARIBBEAN BEACH RESORT Information & Questions

I noticed that about the breakfast menu too! I arrive one month from today and I am hoping the actual menu has some other options like breakfast sandwiches or else I am getting Mickey waffles every day. I prefer that with the strawberry topping they have at Pop to regular syrup though, so I'm hoping THAT may be an option as well.

We probably will only get breakfast one morning, maybe twice. I’ll probably get the Bounty Platter or the waffles. It just would have been nice to try the breakfast bowl.

Hi. Booked standard room for Feb. and online check-in options for room preference were Martinique Village or close to transportation. Just curious why that village in particular. Thanks.

Any tips on how to handle check out day? We will have ME booked somewhere between 1 and 2 pm at a guess, ahead of a 5:35 pm international flight. Check out, I believe is at 11?
Unless something has recently changed you can't use RAC for international flights. You can store your bags with bell services.

I noticed a menu change yet again for Centertown. No breakfast bowls in the morning now. They really keep making the choices fewer and fewer, it seems.
Wow, I hope the menu listed isn't complete. I wonder if streamlining the menu is to facilitate mobile ordering.

Looks like the grill restaurant in Trinidad offers more.

The options online have been goofy for years now. Heck for a while there, close to elevator was an option and CBR has never had elevators. With a Standard room booked Martinique would be a waste of a request.

As always, your best bet is to call the Main Reservation line and add any room requests to your reservation. This can be done anytime from the day you book up until 4-5 days out. When within that time frame makes no difference.

We returned from CBR July 17th. Unfortunately as of then, the menu posted online is the complete menu. I loved the resort and everything about it...except the lack of options in the food court. That was my one complaint.

We had the same options and ignored it. If you have a standard room booked, you will be in Jamaica or Aruba, Martinique isn't even an option. (We were in Jamaica.) I'd recommend calling in any requests. Our most important request was to keep the same room as we had a week long package followed by one night of a room only reservation. We called in our request and they had it noted and had honored our request at check in.

I was disappointed when I saw all the menu changes at Centertown Market, I see that Spyglass Grill has kept some of the original menu items that Centertown first had, we will be going there for any meals we have at the hotel, as we want to try the guava french toast which is hopefully as good as it sounds.

Does anyone think room categories will change once the skyline is open?

Not initially, but somewhere down the road I wouldn't be shocked to see a new "Skyliner Room" category for a few of the Jamaica and Aruba buildings.

Disney has a history of adding and expanding room categories over time as evidenced by the expansion of Preferred Rooms at Pop Century into some of the 1950s and 1970s and into all of Touchdown! at All-Star Sports, etc.

Wouldn't be shocked to see it not happen, but, knowing The Mouse, definitely would not rule it out. :)

I can see it too. Once the skyliner opens, Jamaica and Aruba would be just as nice as Martinique and Barbados. I'd prefer the standard rooms at that point, you will still have access to a bus and closer to both riviera and carribean beach stations.

It's just teasing me!!! We go in less than 3 weeks and I was so hoping they would be open. I still hold a shread of hope that maybe some of the lines will be open for us.

We are leaving the day before they are scheduled to open and I have my fingers crossed they will do soft openings the week we are there so we get to try it out!

From the closest buildings (34 and 35), 4-5 minutes. From the furthest building (39) 6-7 minutes.

Probably not even that long, except for maybe the furthest room in the furthest building being 6-7min. I haven't really seen any updates for the construction on the paths and bridge over to the station. When that's done it should make it easier and quicker, but I'm not really sure exactly what they are doing on that refurbishment yet.

I’ve booked a 5th sleeper room, instead of preferred, because my kids do not sleep well together. Now I’m nervous about how far we will be from the main areas. Do we know where the 5th sleeper rooms are located? Are they scattered around all the villages?

They are scattered. If you are booked standard, you would be in Aruba or Jamaica. If preferred or water view, you could be in Martinique or Barbados, though water view is in any building.
