French Quarter to the Fantasy With an EPIC Cherry on Top…Spring 2019! Updated 10/25!

French Quarter is so pretty! I love your photos.

I hope your upcoming girls' trip works out! That sounds like so much fun!

I love this too. That's why it's always nice to do St Pete after Disney because I can do laundry at Joe's parent's condo anytime!!!!

That must be so relaxing after a WDW trip. I would love to visit St. Pete's someday 🥰

I LOVE this resort Kelly!!! We are staying here again in January!!!!

Perfect! I wish I was going with you guys!

I am excited to hear about your cruise. I want to do a Disney Cruise in the next couple years and I love to hear about them!

I've now officially cruised on all 4 ships! Let me know if you have any questions!

No. I get it. I typically will wait until I'm home, but... it sure makes for an unpleasant welcome home, you know?
And... instead of doing whites and then colours/darks... you can do them all at the same time by using more than one machine.

True! Plus, it's nice to just unpack and put everything away ::yes::

I actually considered getting a 1-bedroom just for that... but couldn't justify the cost, just for a washer/dryer that I might not even use.

Even I'm not crazy enough to do that! o_O

It's such a nice resort, isn't it? :)

Practically perfect in every way 😍

POFQ is my favorite moderate - the compact size and pretty grounds . Looking forward to the cruise portion next

I can see why so many people love it!

Stop all this dang posting so I don't fall so far behind :P

Sorry! See...I actually listened to you and I haven't had a minute to post lately!

This is like some kind of demented backwards Where's Waldo :P

I like to keep things interesting! 😜

What in the world is that????? Certainly doesn't look like breakfast, but I'm not even sure its food

What? Doesn't everyone eat chocolate on their chocolate for breakfast??

Well last least she got her fries from Mr. Kamals and not Restaurantasaurus

Now, if only she would get some fixins'.

Oh your poor Mom. She looks like she's actually riding Everest instead of Dinosaur

:rotfl2: Exactly!

I'd be very curious to know WHAT they said! Do you remember?

Not at all! I've done two tours now and remember just generally what we talked about, but some of the finer details I've long forgotten :sad1:

I LOVE the breakfast sandwiches at Kusafiri's but your breakfast looks like a sweeter proposition!

I did not know they had breakfast sandwiches or I probably would have gotten one.

but sadly, it doesn't look quite as good as the Satuli one.

It was almost as good, and made better by not having to trek back to Pandora ::yes::

I hope your upcoming girls' trip works out! That sounds like so much fun!

I hope so too! I have it booked and I think everyone is on board 😁

She gets behind the wheel and doesn't stop talking the whole time.
I think it's nervous chatter, but again, Nicholas never did that.
She narrates everything she's doing while she's doing and when she's done doing it,
such as, "Oh…that was good…a little too fast…oof, I need to straighten out…that was a good parking job…ew, rough stop…etc."
As if just driving with her isn't petrifying enough, I have to listen to that the whole time:rotfl:

How stressful! Can't even imagine teaching someone to drive.

What a lovely seat for lunch!

After swatting them for a few minutes,
it dawned on me that these were the infamous, "Love-Bugs."

They're the worst!!! I know they're not poisonous or anything, but the sheer amount of them nearly drove me mad.

Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals and although I was slightly disappointed with mine,
I will definitely be back to Tony's.

Bummer that your meal was disappointing, but the overall review makes me want to give Tony's another try.

The view is not the greatest,
but I've seen it enough that having the best view isn't as important to me as being comfortable.
This is especially true when I go with my mom…
we tend to run her ragged and she appreciates the break now and again.

Looks nice, and sometimes that sun can be brutal during the parade.

On the other hand, I shared the secrets with Nicholas once and of course...

Ugh, of course! I've been too stubborn to look up the secret. I want to discover it on my own! #stubborn hahaha

Plus, with rumors swirling that it might be going away, I need to enjoy it while I can.

What?! I haven't heard these rumors. Can't imagine this happening!

Wow, great photo!

However, I did take lots of pics around POFQ that day. We were just really loving it here

It's such a charming resort.

In the meantime, I am planning on my very first training and heading to Universal the first week of December. Of course, I can't be that close to WDW with an annual pass in my pocket and not go, now can I? The crazy part is that I will now find myself in WDW for the opening of ROTR at SWGE. And the even crazier part is that I am actually seriously considering going! Am I crazy, or what?! Are any of you going to be there 12/4-12/6?? Let me know!

Congrats on your new venture! Your nursing job sounds incredibly stressful and I know how overworked nurses get. Glad you're able to take some time to prevent burn out!

Congratulations on your new position! I'm sure you'll love putting your Disney knowledge to use to help others' vacation dreams come true!

I honestly never thought I could either, but I have no choice!

I'll still continue to eat there, I just wouldn't order those weird ravioli again...I hope maybe they change back to the kind they had last year.

Ha! Good Luck! I KNOW the secret and STILL can't hit it! 😆

Congrats on your new venture! Your nursing job sounds incredibly stressful and I know how overworked nurses get. Glad you're able to take some time to prevent burn out!

Thank you! I know you get it!

Kelly!!!! I am so happy for you! What an awesome new career path you're embarking on!!!! 😘

Thanks, Jenny!
:lovestruc

Congratulations and good luck on your new endeavors!

Thank you! :goodvibes

Thanks! I hope so! ::yes::

So happy for you and your new Disney-love-inspired gig, Kelly! I hope you love your work as a travel agent and have fun at your training! I'm sure it'll be right up your alley.

Thank you, Meghan! :goodvibes

Congrats!!! I am so excited for you!!! :hyper:

Thank you! We all need to reinvent ourselves now and again, right!? :goodvibes

Definitely not! :thumbsup2

That's what I thought!

Wait…did we predict the whole Skyliner 3-hour debacle?? We wrote this before that happened…it never even occurred to me that we might actually have to relieve ourselves up there in front of strangers…or worse…that they would have to relieve themselves in front of us! :scared1:

I think we did!! I'm very glad this happened before my trip because I refused to ride them the entire time because of it. :rotfl: I know they were compensated well for being stuck up there but that's still not enough for me to risk being stuck in the air in 90 degree weather with people 💩 in a bag!

I've been busy working, and celebrating Allie's 16th birthday.

This is late but Happy Birthday Allie!

I can never hit a thing in here…I have no idea what I'm shooting at.
So even though I know the secrets about what to shoot at, I always do poorly.

Yup I think they could have a giant red arrow pointing at what to shoot and I'd still fail

COP is definitely an old favorite and a must-do for us each trip.
Plus, with rumors swirling that it might be going away, I need to enjoy it while I can.

This better be one of those crazy rumors that circulate and never happen because I'll riot!

Omg what is this?! All that chocolate will probably make me nauseous but I want it lol

I think this makes me weird, but having the least amount of dirty laundry
when we come home from vacation is always my goal.

I 100% get this. Coming home from vacation is bad enough without a mountain of dirty clothes.

Of course, I am still working in the NICU too, but I find myself not so stressed over that job because I have this new dream side-gig to think about.

Congrats! I became a TA for the same reason. I love being a nurse but it's so mentally, physically and emotionally exhausting that it's nice to have something more lighthearted to focus on also!

Congratulations on being able to follow your dreams! For years I have been telling people that I am going to become a travel agent after I retire from the Emergency Department. I mean, I can get along with a wide variety of people, I am good at thinking outside the box, and I am REALLY organized, plus I LOVE to travel! And.... I have been planning trips for my friends for years! I am very happy for you! :cheer2: :cheer2: :flower1::dance3:

I think it was even a bit too much for her and she ended up throwing some of it out. I don't even recall where, exactly, we got it :confused3

Thank you! I didn't realize you were a TA also! It's definitely way more fun to think about!
