"Official" 2019 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party: Oh-So-Jolly Holiday Celebration

That is really good to know, thanks, I booked the party for the parade view and also so I could have some treats for the party (since the diet team Disney wont just tell me if there are nuts in the cookies and ya I know all their reasons just think they are silly) if there aren't any allergy free treats then I am definately cancelling if I can get my money back. Does anyone know if they offer refunds? I'll call today but everytime I've called it's been 30 to 60 min wait and I'm paying international rates so I'm not about that...

You can just cancel online, I have a cancellation option beside it under my plans.

We also have someone with a gluten allergy, and that was surprising to read since everywhere else is always good with allergies. We're keeping it anyway, he'll enjoy having the wine and I want to try it now that we've mentally committed even if maybe we wouldn't have absolutely needed it to get a good parade spot. Plus, this way I know we will stay until the end instead of my DH deciding the kids are too tired and leaving after the fireworks like happened for the Halloween Party. After we left they got a second wind and were up until 1:00, and we missed lots of party stuff by leaving at 10:30 instead of12!

I literally stood across from the reserved area with plenty of viewing area and prime character interaction. I guess my little one doesn’t walk yet but I love Disney add ons and am struggling to find any value with this purchase in a purchase party. I hope you have fun and report back how your experience is maybe it will change my mind!

I decided to cancel, it had value but from what I read my perceived value of it was lost. I'm sure we will get a good view and I'll resign myself to eating desserts at character dinners and such since they usually have great allergy friendly things and this way I can get in more character greeting after the last parade instead of trying to eat lots of desserts. I'm sure it has value for others who will love it

Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom card, they have a special one for the party that they give out one per person during the party.

You can cancel one day before. I believe they have nut free treats. I cannot eat gluten which is pretty much in everything.

So my allergy is gluten (well I'm Celiac). they have chocolate covered strawberries which I love but that's it for the desserts. All of the hot items have gluten. There is the antipasti (cold) bar with meat and cheeses which was good as well. I've sent comments to guest services after each of the parties, but I haven't seen any changes. At least I know what to expect. Prosecco is gluten free so that's good. LOL.

Checking in to see if anyone has been able to find what is covered and it’s covered under the meal plan for christmas snacks and food? Really struggling to find that info anywhere. Currently had the quick service plan with intentions to use it for mostly these items but will cancel and go the gift card route if most things aren’t covered. TIA

I got to dance with the Kringle Crew so cringy but I kinda killed it lol.

The new firework show has literally 0 emotions who thought of it without lyrics....what did I watch!?

Were there many projections? Trying to decide if I should keep the dessert party I have booked.

it had nice projections but again the show had 0 lyrics except for some made up Disney song at the end which felt nothing like Christmas. I felt 0 feelings and/or goosebumps....Holiday Wishes is 100% better. Also I’m not just clinging onto the past as jingle bell jingle bam has sections that make me feel Christmas

The parade is amazing though!!!!!

Got an amazing clear view 15 minutes before the show started.

IMHO I loved these new fireworks, they're pretty impressive pyro-wise. The song in the end is actually from the Muppets Christmas Carol movie. Maybe it's because I knew the song but I loved it

the projections are neat but you don't need to see them to enjoy this show. It can be enjoyed from anywhere, I watched from the Crystal Palace, grabbed a spot 5 min before show and had tons of space.

It's a game you can play throughout the park. And you get free cards on every visit to MK if you stop at the firehouse

Trader Joe’s has cookie butter ice cream that when made a milkshake tastes like Christmas Totally I thought this was going to be an enhanced version....nope!
