Disney Gift Card Deals

So in the BJs Black Friday sale booklet I do see a mention of “Cyber Savings” for Monday Dec 2nd-Dec 8th. It says “gift cards” in with items advertised to be in sale although it doesn’t specify which cards would be included....I will be a bit upset if I invest heavily on DGC on Friday for 6% discount only to have them offer a better discount on Dec 2nd.....

Tomrrow, I think I'm going to call the BJs business division which was posted several days ago. They have seemed pretty reasonable in the past so if they cut me a deal I'll update you all. I'm needing alot of DGC for annual dues and annual passes...

Hopefully my ad is correct and they didn't miss any fine print because I am sending DH Friday morning to grab a couple to have on hand. Did you get the printed ad? I got mine last week.

No I don't have a printed copy, but I found a better one last night online. I do think you're right and we'll be good for this Friday. The difficulty for me will be coordinating with DH since some of the cards we'll be using are in his name, but the membership is in my name. I'm hoping I can convince him to come with me at 8:00 and go into work a little late. I'm not sure he'll see a Disney gift card purchase as a good enough reason to skip work lol.

I watch this board daily but I'm admittedly not the best couponer. I see a lot of excitement for the upcoming BJ's deal. I have a Meijer near me though and they're running their "buy a $50 card, get $5 mPerks back" to be used up to a total of 10 times, or a $500 card with $50 in mPerks received. Of course, once you go over the $500, then you need to find an alternative to getting your discounted cards. But isn't Meijer the better deal? I usually see a post here when they run it but people don't seem that interested in it. Is there something more I'm missing about the BJ's deal that I need to be in on? lol

I’m interested in BJs because we have chase offers and it would give us roughly 22% off gcs if we do it correctly

Some of us have an offer on our Chase cards that if we spend $150 at BJ's, we get a $25 statement credit. Stacking with the 6% get you a total of 21+% savings.

Or those with a Chase Freedom are getting 5% back this quarter on PayPal purchases, which works out to between 10-11% savings. BJ's accepts Paypal online.

Many people on this board don't have Meijer near them. But, it's a good deal if you have a Meijer! I live in West Michigan so I'm surrounded by them But, they are only in like 5 other states besides Michigan.

BJ's is in many more states and you can buy the gift cards online as well. Plus, people have credit card bonuses available to them for BJ's.

Do you think the instant $10 off of $100 gift card offer is dead? We did that sale twice last year. I like instant gratification. Not really a fan of the current deal because it doesn't work well with the way I budget for Disney.

You can get the deal more then 10x. So far I have purchased 20 $100 Disney gc and 10 various other brand $100 gc
plan on getting at least 30 more by Nov. 28th.

The most I bought at one time was 10 gc, paying for each one seperate

so the Stop and Shop offer...this is for any gc's except the cash cards and ths S&S gc? they only show a few options in the flyer...did you buy all of yours one after the other,same day? or one at a time on different days? or did you go back into store each time for another gc?

Oh man! I wish I knew how to get these kinds of offers. Our Chase offers are for shops I have never heard of, hotels I don’t stay at or online flowers. We got the Lowe’s $20 on 1 of our 3 Chase cards. Other than that, just garbage offers we would never use.

The ad in the flyer states any gift card (with the usual exclusions). I can't speak to purchasing more than the limit.

Is it really only $10? You might want to poke around for the free 3 month membership. We received a card in the mail for it.

I bought a $10 membership yesterday. I have the Chase offer on 7 cards so we will definitely make the $10 back. There are no BJ's in our area so I doubt I will come upon any kind of membership special.

Yes, none anywhere here so I'm highly unlikely to find a 3 month offer. I've run the numbers and $10 should come back quickly. I have the BJs offer on almost all of our business cards, of course not the one I'm working on though.
