I must be feeling the holiday spirit extra this year, because I just bought all the holiday spirits!

My local safeway liquor store had tons of fun, festive options. Christmas gin, something called moose milk, a few kinds of baileys... I got enough that I could split my order into 2, one per card. Getting through the promo slow and steady (and now maybe a bit tipsily!)

Oh my god! I'm having the same damn issue ordering e-gift cards from Chapters (through shoptheblock airmilesshops) AGAIN!

I have tried two different browsers now! It's been well over a week since my last attempt. The system demands I fill out receipants' names, an e-mail address, etc but will only let me do so for two cards - not the third. Then when I try to place my purchase anyways, it tells me to phone their 800 # because there's a problem. GGRRR! Ohh, and the problem is probably because there is no e-mail address attached to that 3rd gift card so their system would not be able to send the gift card via e-mail.

On the phone with them now... (sigh). I love how they try to tell me to clear the cookies, try a different browser, their system is swamped with orders - try again later. Umm.. no... your system is the problem.

I am getting nothing but a runaround with Indigo with them splitting my order up and not giving Air Miles the total invoice amount. They are saying that it is an Air Miles problem and they can do nothing.

Spoke to Air Miles and she said that they know that both Indigo and Amazon do this. She credited me the missed 1 Air Mile. We'll see if I get the 5x multiplier and if it helps when it comes to the Shop the Block.

I suggest you avoid Indigo.

Indigo split my purchases too. Nothing showing up on airmilesshops but I have to wait til the time is up to complain. They (Indigo and Air Miles) need to come up with a better system for the shopping portal. The existing one is a total crapshoot - you never know what will happen and you're left with no proof unless you record yourself shopping.

That's what I told both Indigo customer service and Air Miles. They will pass on my comments, lol.

I found one local Shell that is on top of it. The key is to pay for your gas inside. They not only scan my card and the coupon they keep at the till, they also give me the 3 cents off per litre of gas that is supposed to be limited to BMO AM MasterCard + AM cards (I only have an AM card). The info pops up on the receipt like clockwork every time with the Shop the Block info posted. It’s the Shell at Avenue and Franklin I’m Cambridge, for anyone in the area.

DH's airmilesshops offer will be a new shredder for his mom for Christmas (her request LOL). It's $99.99, so add a pen or something to the order to make it $100, done.

I just checked the website and I see it's on SALE for $79.99! I'm like, NOOOOO, that's going to mess up my STB offer! I looked a little harder and it's only on sale until tomorrow LOL Phew! DH is definitely going to be spending $20 more for this than he needs to.

That *coupon* rarely posts properly! It will come very close to the end of the promo, or if you're lucky like me, after you chase it down! They even changed the terms on that coupon to the standard 120 days instead of the normal 75 days attached to bonus miles thru the online portal

I did the Source the other day because it was both 5x the miles for the Source and the bonus 10x the miles so I got my 70 air miles today so that should be 5 offers done for me. I went to Action Car & Truck yesterday to pick up my item and he input my air miles card and the bonus miles so I will see when that posts. Need to do 2 more offers for my card - planning on Shell and maybe Rexall but I will have to check with my Mother and see what needs to be done on her card. I can probably do Foodland, Sobeys on hers and my sister can hit Metro and Shell as well. I have to do an Amazon order so I will probably put that through on their card. I am sure that we will get to the 7 on both cards.

So far I've only got IGA for sure. I have tried the online but not sure if it worked (pretty sure it didn't). Hopefully I can get Safeway, Rexall. I'll see if there is anything else that is close enough to work for me!!!

My relatives are all whining at me that they are only going to be able to do 5 partners. To which I try to be encouraging and tell them they can do 7. Just think outside your normal routine. Save up grocery trips until you have $50 etc. Order a pizza (for the freezer) and a roast chicken with a salad. They just put that look on their face like I'm talking to a brick wall.

Just when I think I'm nearing the end I find myself thinking that I should do another partner for one or another of them. This promotion will never end. I'm thinking I will do my DS1's (he's filling up at Shell for me for the Nov 1-30 promo I have) but beyond that they're on their own.

MY error! YES, you can most definitely do this, I looked at the store list and didn't see it -- didn't cross my mind to look under the "T" for THE, I looked under "C"

My mistake! The put it under "T" for THE not "C" For Children's! In that case YES it will work.. i'll fix my post, please edit the part you've quoted to remove the mistake
