What restaurants won’t you go to again?

Chef Mickeys - for dinner, anyway. blech. bottled ranch dressing, one veggie to choose from. so meh.
Coral Reef - I thought the food was delish, but we requested a booth down on the lowest level, got seated (in an empty restaurant) at the very top, couldn't see any fish unless we left the table. Food was yummy, but then it was just an overpriced restaurant.
Kona Cafe - very meh. my kids wouldn't eat the pasta with red sauce, and they eat any and all pasta. waitress was rude.
La Hacienda de San Angel - food was very meh and cold. the queso fundido was hard as a rock, inedible. nice view though.
Sci-Fi - the food was fine, but I don't like the atmosphere - I felt like I had to be quiet with the old scifi movies and I couldn't talk to anyone, especially since half my party was sitting in front of me in the car.

Chef Mickey: It's like a giant headache waiting to happen. So loud, unruly kids running amok, food was meh...
Rainforest Cafe: yuck, just yuck, nothing special -it's a crappy chain restaurant.
Big River Grille: we were unfortunate enough to have really horrible service and food there. May give it another try.

OMG how could I forget, and this is such an unpoplar reply lol - BOMA. We were staying at AKL so we did the bfast buffet. My husband got food poisioning. It was for sure there - he hadn't had anything else to eat that day, and we're almost positive it was the carved ham. The rest of us had everything he had except that. I thought it was really good, but we'll not ever eat there again!

Cosmic Rays- only because the uninspired food is not worth the torture of lines, noise, or finding a table. Backlot Express can get bad too especially if it rains, but at least the food was decent.

Very few disappointments with QS or food booths, and WDW always corrected/compensated the issue immediately & without hesitation.

No horrible TS experiences to report. We've not tried Chef Mickey's because we've been forewarned.

Others I wouldn't try again...Chef Mickey's total chaos and yucky food and San Angel Inn. We have given San Angel Inn two tries. Both times the food really wasn't worth the extremely long wait.

LeCellier- Rather average steaks that give Outback a run for their money but offering a dark, cramped and loud atmosphere at signature prices.

BOG- Incredible decor, but other than that not much to offer. Glad to have experienced it, but not likely to return.

Chef Mickey- Golden Corral quality food with characters. Poor service. Young children (well under 10) unaccompanied by adults grabbing food with their hands or hacking, coughing, wheezing, or picking their nose at the food station. Exaggerating? Not when I was there. One and done for me in this lifetime.

The buffets unless I have the dining plan - they’re just too expensive.

Food-wise, I won’t go back to the Commisary in HS until they revamp the menu. Other than that, I can’t think of a place where I’ve particularly disliked anything enough to say never again.

Ohana dinner is a pass for me for the price. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great and just not something I’d want to do again. Ohana breakfast I’m still up for.

There are not too many restaurants that I would go to again. Most are just okay and for the price, are just not worth it. But I like to try everywhere once.

I feel like I add a new restaurant to the list every time I go to Disney.

Ohana, Mama Melrose, and most recently Columbia Harbour House are all 100% no gos for me.

There are also a handful of restaurants that I didn’t hate but felt like they were “one and done.” (Biergarten comes to mind.) I suppose that’s a separate thread though.

Sahna: It was just avarage
Ohana: Food too inconsistent and it is honestly tooo sweet
Skipper Canteen: Our food was cold and not good quality
Liberty tree tavern: Canteen style food and the ooygoowey toffee cake was average at best, and that was my only reason to go there
California Grill: Sushi was just bad
I agree that california grill’s sushi was such a letdown, texture on the rice was all wrong, but the rest of the food and service we received there was ideal. I’m sure they’re hit or miss but usually one of the more reliable restaurants on property.

Food, service, both?

Both. And, seating. We were sat in a corner in an atrium. I was practically sitting on another person's lap...neither of us could move our chairs because that's how close they were. My fish was disgustingly fishy and mushy.

It was just an all over bad experience.

I forgot, Coral Reef sucked, too. Mainly due to seating and service. But, it was enough that we have no desire to go back..

I’m a never say never type, but probably CRT.

We’ve done it a few times and have had the same experience. Rushed service, poor character experience, rude servers, mediocre food, way too expensive.

I won't say never, but Coral Reef. It's been over a decade now and the poor service we experienced the last time we were there still stands out in my mind. It used to be one of our favorites before then.
