shopDisney Shipping Delays?

So I put in an order on shopDisney (for a spirit jersey, socks, and two ornaments) on November 29. All items should be received within 7 business days, which would be tomorrow. I just received tracking info for the two ornaments today. Nothing for the jersey or socks.

Anyway, I’m guessing I won’t be getting the spirit jersey at this point as it’s now sold out online, which is a major bummer.

Is anyone else experiencing delays right now? I’m guessing it’s related to Black Friday- an order I put in a month ago arrived within a week. I’m just concerned because we leave for the holidays Dec 21, and I don’t want packages just sitting on my porch screaming “hey, look who’s not home!”

Expecting a package today, but delayed until tomorrow.

I ordered 10 items last Tuesday and so far have received 1 item and received a shipping notification for 1 other item (that shipped yesterday). So yeah, I think they're having issues.
 
Not specifically shopDisney, but I've had a lot more shipping delays this year than past years. Everything from dog food from Chewy, Kohl's, and now my HelloFresh box which was supposed to be delivered Friday as normal, and now says Tuesday night. That's the only one I'm truly frustrated about considering it's food and will most likely need to be thrown out by the time it gets here.

I think it's just soooo many people are ordering online now. I highly respect the delivery drivers out there working their hardest to get us our packages, but it can be frustrating if you're trying to have something by a certain date.
 


They always have issues around Christmas - they get hammered! I ordered some things last week but have not received shipping notices on them. They were mostly just for me, so I'm not too worried about it, but this is typical for them around this time.
 
Ugh, I guess I should be happy I’m not alone, ha.

I had contacted shopDisney, since I know at least one time before I randomly got a package with no notification, but they also showed that it hadn’t shipped yet. This time they said they could see that it was not shipped at all. Apparently I can’t ask for a refund or reorder until tomorrow (after 7 business days). Argh. I’d rather it they just cancel it than leave it in limbo.

On the other end, Target straight-up emailed me that there was a processing mistake and my items never actually shipped, so they were sending me replacements and a $5 card for the inconvenience for being a whole 2 days late. (I didn’t even realize there was a problem.)
 


Maybe this thread was good luck, I just got a shipping notification for the rest of my order.

I'm having a problem with my cyber Monday Target order. I have 6 shipments(why can't they just ship everything together??) that were supposed to be delivered Wednesday/Thursday. I got notified that only one item was delayed and I have nothing on the other items. When I look at the tracking info on Target app/website, it shows it will be delivered whatever day it is(like this morning it says today) but then on the carrier tracking website it still shows its waiting for a pickup. Super annoying....I'll be calling today.
 
I’ve been ordering things from shop Disney since the beginning of November for our trip next week and even before black Friday I noticed the they were really REALLY slow with shipping. Like almost two weeks. For example, I bought 4 ornaments on the 18th (Monday), got a shipping notice for them on the 22nd (Friday), and didn‘t actually get them until the 30th (the next Saturday). And that was pretty typical of the 4 or 5 other orders from them between Nov 1 and 18.

Like others have said, everything is taking longer right now to just get shipped, let alone get to you. Even my trusty Nordstrom’s that usually gets me my orders within 2-3 business days is taking well over a week. DH works in tech for a large national retailer and has said they have had an insane number of orders and it seems to be the case for most retailers right now. Additionally, there is one less week between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, and that makes a huge impact in the buying/selling/shipping of items.
 
IMHO we've all become spoiled or have high expectations because of how Amazon operates. You get your Prime packages in two days, so everyone else should do the same... right? I have to remind myself that I've become spoiled. I ordered two pair of new athletic shoes so I could break them in before our February trip, place one order with Academy the other with Macy's, I've had the ones from Academy for a week now, Macy's is supposed to arrive today. 😵
 
IMHO we've all become spoiled or have high expectations because of how Amazon operates. You get your Prime packages in two days, so everyone else should do the same... right? I have to remind myself that I've become spoiled. I'm having issues with Amazon now, too! I ordered screen protectors for a new phone on 12/1 with Prime 2 day shipping and still haven't received them. They were MIA for a few days and now supposedly are out for delivery. Though it also told me they were out for delivery yesterday when they clearly were not.
 
Now that you mention it...I've only received 2 of my 3 items. I ordered on Black Friday.

I received the two ornaments yesterday... and an email saying the spirit jersey was sold out and I’d be refunded. 😔

Oddly, I also received an email saying the socks I ordered were also out of stock and I’d be refunded. They show up online. But at this point it’d be too late to get them in time (they’re a gift), so I’ll just wait for the refund.

My guess is the "within 7 business days" is once it actually ships, not from the date of purchase.

I had an issue with my most recent Amazon prime purchase. I received a confirmation of purchase email, my card was charged and when I ordered, it was shown as delivering Thursday. Well, as of yesterday, it was not showing up in my orders and I hadn't received a shipping email. I need it by this Saturday as a gift so I was starting to get nervous and making a tentative Plan B. I got a shipping email this morning saying it should be delivered tomorrow, so I guess we'll see.

I also have an order out from Dick's that tells me it will be delivered today, but since it is currently showing in PA, don't think so.
 
I got my shipping confirmation yesterday for an order I placed last Monday. All appears in order though.
 
The shipping companies are taking their time this year. I have a package due in today from DD#1, via FedEx (as we asked her to not do UPS, as they tend to leave our packages at every house in the neighborhood BUT ours); it just arrived at the FedEx depot here a few hours ago. So, maybe tomorrow?

USPS and UPS both delayed packages sent from retailers to my Reddit secret santa/ornament giftees; the UPS ones were delayed 3 days, the USPS one by just one day.

DH's medication (via USPS) took an extra 3 days to arrive. Good thing I plan ahead and keep extras on hand. ugh That's why I don't get his diabetes meds shipped, I just can't risk them getting delayed and messed up.
