Priceline Express Deals

I'm looking at 10/25-27, 3* Bonnet Creek with 4.0/5 rating. It's coming up at $115/night but against a list of $346/night. I'm guessing All Star Music but could this be a suite with such a high original price?

So, I just had a similar experience and ended up with a standard room (which is what I expected for the price). Hotwire sometimes defaults to the highest price room at the hotel, even if the room you're looking at isn't in that category. So, it seems likely that you're looking at AS Music because the suites sometimes do get pricey, but a standard room because the price for your deal is so low.

But I have no idea where the $346 comes from. It's higher than Disney's rack rate.

What's the best deal someone has gotten on an AoA LMM room? My daughter really wants to stay here. Right now with the current deal they are about 205 per night first week of August.

AoA LM do not come up frequently. That section is just 3 buildings, with a total of 861 rooms. Compare that to Pop with 2,880 rooms, AS Sports 1,920, AS Movies 1,920, and AS Music 1,604 (192 family suites). Between the popularity of AoA and LM theming and the relative scarcity of rooms, you could luck into a better deal, but you shouldn't count on it.

Is $205 out of your budget or are you just hoping for something better?

How do you figure them out on HW? Thank you for your help though : ) Going to hold out longer on AoA room. Fingers crossed

I start with the category and location. 3-star in Bonnet Creek is Value, 3.5 is moderate. Then I look at the ratings, and compare with the known ratings in revealed bookings. AS Music and Movies are 4.0/5; AS Sports and Pop are 4.1/5; AoA is 4.3/5. To narrow it down further, I can look at bed type (which only works for me on my desk top, not my phone). AS Movies is renovated (queen beds) but Music is not (full beds). I look at distances. The All-Stars are in the AK area, around a mile from AK (I think Sports is 1; Music is 1.3, and not sure about Movies 1.4 maybe?).

Moderates often differentiate themselves when you look at room type. POR and POFQ are both 3.5 stars with 4.3/5 ratings close to Disney Springs and Epcot. However, the listing I found for $205 gives an option for a Royal Room for $224, which is only at POR

205 isn't out of the budget, but I'd love to get a better deal than that. If that means getting a better resort (Would love AK!!!) Or a better rate on AoA (do they do deals on the Suites, or is that even tougher than mermaid?). I'm in the "early" planning stages, but looking to make it the best vaca ever!

Howdy - Think

Howdy - It looks like the "/htmlview" at the end of that link is sending people to a read only view of the sheet.

If you use this link it should work fin: https://jjt.page.link/PE_Simple_Finder

People who have used it before may notice that I added a simple finder tab to the sheet - all you have to do there is select Location, Star & Guest Ratings and enter the number of Guest Reviews shown on a PE deal and it will tell you the possible resorts. Because almost all resorts have a unique combo of those values, you'll usually see only one possible resort.

If you do get a result that suggests it could be 2 different results, you can click over to the Full Finder tab and do the same thing, plus select the amenities shown on the deal.
Lots of people using the sheet lately, so might get a little crowded over there once in awhile. :)
Really cool of you to share this with us. Thanks so much :)

They sometimes do suites, but those are very popular, too. You're lucky in that you've picked a relatively low crowd time. WDW's own site is showing availability in all the Suite types, so there's a possibility some might be released for third party bookings. When I've seen those as blind bookings, it's usually much closer to the travel dates.

To be honest, I think LM are overpriced for what they are. They're often priced like moderates, but haven't been renovated (still have double beds). You may be able to get AK in the low to mid 200s for your timeframe. There's a really good chance you'll be able to get a moderate, though, and I think those are all nicer than LM rooms.

Unless you want to stay at the Doubletree. :duck: It gets good reviews over on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions boards. I was seriously eyeing it until I found an All-Star deal that was cheaper.
Agree. Of all the hotels in Disney Springs, the Doubletree is probably the best value.

Familiar with Priceline, but not so much Hotwire. Does anyone see any availability for 5/02-5/07?

Not much availability at the moment
AoA family suite for $307
The 4.5 star for $414 is probably GF - not certain, but we were discussing it yesterday and I can't think what else it could be.

Priceline 4-star, February 10 - 13, Bonnet Creek, 8+ rating, anyone know what this is? Better Bidding doesn’t have enough confidence.

edit to add that there is no resort fee, amenities are bedding, no smoking, restaurant, and swimming pool
