Is there anyone out there with the Barclays AAdvantage Aviator Red card? My AF is coming up, and instead of canceling this one, I'd like to see if they'll credit the $99 AF. With all the AA troubles lately, I guess I feel more comfortable keeping this card another year. So the question, has anyone gotten Barclays to successfully credit the AF lately? Thx all!

FYI flights on BA will will make you connect in London and then will incur a LOT in taxes and fees. Much as we all bemoan TPG as a shill, we can't argue that he provides a good service as far as the how to's as do many of the other bloggers.

So looks like JAL on American might work for me. How do I book American on JAL?

Yes. Forgot that in the post I just did about CSR/Lyft. My Hilton account was linked to my Lyft account, and I can already see the extra Hilton points earned from my handful of Lyft rides while at WDW last weekend. I linked my Delta account yesterday so I can start earning Delta miles too....
SO I fired up the app and input my Hh #.... it says I have a $15 credit to use? where did this come from? And I'm guessing it will use that credit before it charges my CSR for any rides, right? (I honestly won't use this very much, but it should come in handy a couple of times this year)

I did the half on Saturday and got restless leg on the scrunched southwest flights back. The stupid seat belt thing was on most of the flight (it wasn't bumpy at all) so it was hard to walk around without the FA coming on the intercom to tell people to sit down.

.
My DH is convinced they keep that light on all the time to avoid doing a drinks service on flights now... :rotfl2: He really wants that soda...

Advice needed. I just got approved for Southwest Biz 1/7, but I'm at $3700 of MSR $5k. We just had our water heater go out and putting in a tankless for $2800 next week. We also have about $5k left on a rental rehab we're working over the next month. I feel like it would be wise to open another cc but not sure which one.

P1:
CSP 1/18
SPG AMEX 3/18
CIP 4/18
CO Venture 8/18
CIU 10/18
Barclay A+ 1/19 - planning on cancelling when AF hits any day
AMEX Marriott biz 3/19
CIC 3/19
AMEX Hilton Biz 6/19
CIP 7/19
Southwest Biz 1/7/2020
So 4/24, possibly 3/24 since I applied for CSP 1/1/18

P2:
Toro personal cc 1/18
Chase IHG 3/18
CSP 4/18
AMEX SPG 4/18
CO Venture 6/18 (cancelled)
Barclay A+ 10/18 (cancelled)
Amex Hilton personal 1/19
AMEX Marriott BIZ 3/19
AMEX Hilton Biz 9/19
So 6/24, possibly 5/24

I'm working on CP for Southwest. Obviously can't apply for another Biz card yet. Probably not wise to apply for the personal card this soon. DH could apply for a card, but not sure what? His ultimate goal is to hit Chase Biz cards after Mar.

Trips planned:
Cruise 3/2020
2 week out west trip 7/2020
6 day Caribbean Hilton/Marriott stay for anniversary with points 11/2020

My capital one venture will hit one year tomorrow. When I got the card the general advice was to PC to a VentureOne card since it has no AF. Is this still a good plan?

I’ve had the cap one venture for a pretty long time. Every single year when the annual fee hits, I call in and ask if they can waive it. And so far every single year they have. I have the old grandfathered lower annual fee. Not sure if that matters. Doesn’t hurt to ask and see if they’ll credit it.

I know this is triggering for some (so fair warning, LOL), but I found this article really helpful to link up my Delta and Hilton accounts for Lyft. The CSR part was a breeze. https://thepointsguy.com/guide/lyft...&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=thepointsguy

Thanks for the article. I added DH's CSR to these accounts and even changed my name to his in my doordash and it isn't activating the benefits. I am now considering adding myself as an AU unless someone knows a workaround. I will use the doordash benefit for work and the Lyft benefit at WDW but he won't use either ever.
