So do you think that since today was a really good day for getting through the BG that the regular BG number will be increased tomorrow? If only every day could see this many groups go through!

I think Disney doesn't want us to know what they're doing, so they're toying with us. They know about the chart, they know about the theories, they know about our obsessions and now, they're toying with us, like a cat playing with a mouse.

So assuming the ride ran steady throughout the day, we got a hint at 1,500 people per hour at 10AM, that is 18,000 guests through the ride in 12 hours. It really is looking like about 150 people per BG.

So today was finally our turn. I wanted to come here and post all the technicalities of our experience but the truth is I had dreams last night of not getting a BG and when the time came I panicked and just jumped on my phone hit the Find out More Button. Got the wheel of death circle when I went to choose my party but by some miracle got BG 23. We were called by 8:58am and off the ride by 9:45. It was totally worth all of it.
FWIW we were standing in the overflow line at SDD. Got to the park around 6:45am.

Thank you so much for all the tips. I couldn’t have been so successful without it.

I suppose it's no different than having bg 65 when it stops at 64, except with 65, you may have had high high hopes of riding all day whereas with 133, you knew it was less likely.

you get a notification 2 hours or if it's toward the end of the night, one hour before you must ride. If they can't get to your bg you will also get notified in advance

Y'all, can I just say, this trip has been so unlucky ride-wise! Tuesday was my FOP fastpass, ride was down and didn't come back up before we had to leave for an ADR dinner, there was the whole BG debacle (once my fault, once not), and then tonight we took the "safe" route and just Fastpassed Figment for the end of our last world showcase circuit tonight, and we got there and the ride was down!! Even Figment is not safe!! Mostly I'm posting this here because I know y'all have been following along with me but also just as a kind of reminder that if you can't guarantee yourself a ride on Figment, you have to go in knowing you can set yourself up for success but you may not ride ROTR.

Even with all our foibles (this trip was packed with them), we had a blast and I'm glad I made an effort to get a BG without ruining the whole trip over trying to get one. GE is super impressive even just to walk through!

All the more reason to start planning a do-over trip, asap . How dare even Figment betray you!

GE is really impressive, I agree! As someone who falls somewhere between casual fan and not really a fan at all, I was so impressed with the size and total immersion of the land. And I'm glad you still made the best of a trip full of bad luck!

Tried this for the first time today and got BG 18. Was called at 8:39 but didn't get on the ride til 10ish because we wanted to ride Smuggler's Run and had a fast pass for TSM. Think we got off about 10:40.

I wonder how the transition from the VQ to FP will be. Hope there is enough of a heads up given from Disney. Traveling in April so I am sure it can happen before that. Imagine the flip of the switch before your trip. It will change everything I have been planning for. Hopefully they can come up with a hybrid system.
