Has anyone gotten a refund for a canceled JetBlue flight recently? I filled out the form online and got no acknowledgement. It just went into the ether. Is that normal?
I did for flights Easter weekend. I remember I filled out the form online and then did not hear back. I called and my points were refunded almost immediately. They did not refund me for the $5.60 fee.

Ugh.... It switched to the 7-10 days message tonight🤦🏼‍♀️
I don't know why he would be denied though. Credit score over 800. Low utilization. I didn't think his limits were bad. Even credit karma lists it as a card with "Excellent approval odds". He opened a furniture store card in November and a SW card in February, otherwise nothing for several years.
I'm stumped. I guess we will find out in 7-10 days. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah, I have close to 600k MRs and another 160k on the way. So I figured I’ll cash out 500k at 1.25% and will have covered this quarter’s tuition bill. I have a bunch of URs but need to book rentals for HI so I’ll find a use for them easier.
We have around 600k URs. I doubt we’ll even use them to fly for Christmas. We’re talking about driving all the way to Iowa. It’ll be horrible with a baby but I’m not sure if I’ll be ready to fly then or not.

I tried calling. The woman on the phone didn't understand what I was asking. I probably have to call again, but I will wait a few days to see if anything shows up.

Sorry to post about this again, but hubby got an email explanation. Reason is "Low usage of Chase credit lines". What does this even mean? Are his limits too high? We met his SW MSR in about two months between Feb-April , and have spent at least a few thousand on his freedom card since January. So we are using them and I'm confused.
If it is his limits, could he try to call the recon line asking them to lower limits and still approve him?

Wondering if refinancing is possible for churners. I believe the advice I've seen here in the past was that it is is best to "cool it" for a while before applying for auto/home loans. We weren't considering it until recently since the rates are pretty low. Both of us have CS over 800, P1 has gotten 12 (9 biz 3 personal) cards in the last 24 months and P2 has gotten 10 (9 biz 1 personal). Should we even try?
We're in the process of buying a new house, and our loan officer said they only have to explain credit pulls within the last 90 days. DH and I got a CIP at the beginning of April, but no other cards within 90 days. We've also been doing bank account bonuses, so my biggest concern was the fact that we have a lot of transfers of money between our accounts to meet the bank account bonus requirements. Our loan officer said that wouldn't be an issue, if anything underwriting may request a statement from the bank account the transfer went (we only disclosed our main accounts for them to see our assets,) but she assured me that they want to open new loans and will do everything needed to make it happen. I probably would have taken the advice to cool it on the churning front if we would have anticipated buying a new house, but this was not even on our radar until a month ago when we were bored and searching Zillow one night and stumbled upon our dream home :)

maybe someone else has heard that...I haven’t....but things have changed so much in the past few months. Seems like they are tightening up on personal applications as well as business.
If he’s willing it doesn’t hurt to call and see if they will move credit from one of his open personal cards.

Just wanted to update on my Airbnb refund hunt. I finally was able to screenshot an official website from the government of France to show they wouldn’t allow me to enter the country. They extended their no entry dates to include my travel dates just this week so I sent that screenshot to Airbnb last night and woke up to an email that they’ve given me a full refund.

Thanks for the quick response. He doesn't want to, but I'm going to try to get him to call later when he's done working. All the suspense is killing me! lol

I just locked in my rate at 2.99 last Wednesday. I was not looking at a refi but it was an awesome rate. The bank ran info and never asked about biz cards. My cs is over 800. My last card card was end of feb. I don’t plan on getting a new card until this is over. Dw will get the next card.

We’ve considered doing this with our URs. I just got the CSR but I don’t see us using many URs for travel in the near future

I went ahead and cashed out enough URs to cover the VGC’s I had on hand that I didn’t have time to load to Serve before things shutdown. It wasn’t a huge amount. I’ll probably try to not cash out more though now that the cup isn't overflowing so much anymore. It’s a nice little fall back fund for emergencies. I’d definitely consider cashing out though if I had a large amount of URs just standing there. But my balance isn’t that big anymore.

I had read somewhere that the grocery category on the Chase cards( other than the CF)was a little looser and might include Target if they had a specific grocery section. I decided to experiment and can confirm that my Target did not:(. It's just a regular target with groceries, not a Super Target. Has anyone had any surprises of what codes as grocery with the new bonus?
