I think this is a really wise move on their part as they've done a great job at flattening the curve in those states.
Yeah, cause that will dissuade us...and will be enforced.......like the quarantines in Maine, rhode island, Massachusetts.....Well as long as that is in place, I guess it means a large portion of the Northeast wont go to Disney or if they do they will risk breaking the law. *Edit yes they could still go but then they would also have 14 day quarantine to deal with, so who knows how that will effect some peoples jobs.
I normally try to go with the flow, get annoyed with things, but don't normally get angry with the Disney stuff. This, however, is INFURIATING. Most of what's coming to mind right now and what I would like to say to that PR person would get me booted from the Boards probably. Don't BLEEP-ing blame BLEEP-ing us!! What the ever-loving BLEEP?!?! I expect better from Disney than to take cues from a certain governmental branch's approach to facts. All of us can say, without absolute certainty (and as told by multiple Disney employees) - the problem was in the system. Even those who were able to utilize a workaround (I was not one - there was nothing I could do - I tried all of the options - Disney IT had to fix mine) - that's not user error - that's on Disney. If it doesn't work the way it was supposed to and you have to go to some crazy lengths, that's not user error, it's a glitch! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!Disney World Claims Disney Park Pass System Didn’t Have Glitches, Blames User Error

Phones are the largest germ carriers of any surface because we handle them with our germ ridden hands. It's probably loads safer for cms and us to have them not handle them.Families/groups should be able to get a photo with everyone in it without paying for an expensive package. But just using one persons phone- any more is inconsiderate of the people waiting. Not that it matters now. How is the whole family supposed to be in a photo now? Guests not traveling together are supposed to maintain a six foot distance so handing off the camera to the nice stranger behind you doesn’t work either.
I am going to do everything I can to get my children interested in this show. So excited.Muppets Now Trailer released

The only one I have with effects is the Railroad one from the 45th Anniversary (plays a train sound). That was my favorite for a while, especially when it was the only black one that was out.
Here's our set up for our bands at home:

(sorry about being rotated). Got that on Amazon.
We also have this one that we got on Amazon. Not as nice as the wood one, and it's a bit big, so if they're sized down for kids/women, the bands barely fit on it. However, it's great because it disassembles and is light and easy to pack. So we bring this with us and set it up in the hotel room to hold our bands during the trip:
MagicBand holder.
Yeah - I just don't get how people in PR think. Humility and empathy go so much further - I just don't get it.and even if it was working as intended they just expected people to execute things differently or something (not saying that is the case, but even if it was) blaming the customer is usually not a great strategy - especially when they are already emotionally strained about you to begin with
I know - it's getting tight. There are a few on there that probably could come off, but there also haven't been any great ones released as of late, so that helps (not much on the upgrades for our trip, so will probably just decline them). You will need this soon.
In the dedicated thread there are some reports from people who booked. Some info:
- can book park hoppers
- cannot modify 2020 into 2021
- can still select plain magic bands
- price wise, someone mentioned booking Pop for Feb 2021 and was over $200/night
I modified my July 2020 to a January 2021 reservation (YC, room only) by phone this morning. There’s no discount or price protection, But you can definitely do it.
ok goo to know - maybe just online you can't touch 2020 then?
