EXPIRED - Direct Sales Incentives - Summer 2020 - Expanded list!

We bought a fixed week and obtained permission from higher management for a 25 addon last year. We actually increased it to 50 but with buying a fixed week, they approved the small contract.
yes, they also approved it for us, but in the end we just went with the GW without adding on extra points. They also gave us a different UY then for our existing contract, as it fits better to the GW. (After asking someone higher in the food chain) So additionally they gave me 2019 points, which is a nice bonus. In general autumn fixed/guaranteed weeks are quite interesting in the moment, as the 2021 point charts are higher. So the premium was not 10% but just about 5. With all these "extras", being able to purchase cheaper APs and use CCs for payments made us go for it. now lets see when points are loaded ;)

All this talk about GW is so interesting. Does anyone know how it works if you do a GW for rundisney. Do you get the week before?
such as the Run Disney race is let’s say Nov. 5,6,7. You would get that GW of Nov. 1-7 or whatever not Nov. 7-13( this are fake dates, too lazy to look up the races dates)
Just curious as I love going for Wine and Dine Weekend but I would be more likely to stay the week after.

This is something I'm noticing and it's very interesting - FW pricing is currently based on 2020 points charts even though 2021 is out, so depending on your week you could be buying at an immediate nice discount.

I can help here because we own a runDisney FW for Wine and Dine. Our week is week 44, which this year is Sunday, November 1 through Sunday, November 8. The races are November 5 - 8 this year.

The really nice thing about runDisney FWs is they don't operate like a typical FW. For all other FWs, your week is your week - you check in Sunday, you check out the following Sunday. Done. It operates like a typical timeshare week. However, runDisney FWs work differently. They are assigned a traditional FW that corresponds to the usual race weekend (which is why we have week 44), but they flat. MS will call you a week or two before the 11 month window opens and ask which check-in and check-out dates you want. They will ensure your week always encompasses the runDisney event as long as it continues to go on - so if for some reason the race moves to the third weekend in November, they will adjust your week. Also, you don't have to do Sunday through Sunday. We prefer to check out the Monday after the race (so we don't have to travel home the day of the half marathon), so we do Monday through Monday. Or you could even check-in on Thursday expo day and check out the following Thursday.

The one caveat is if the runDisney race is ever cancelled, your week reverts to a traditional FW and you no longer have the flexibility to float the week or days. So for Wine and Dine, that would revert to week 44. For us that was fine because we always go in the fall for Food & Wine anyway.

Also - runDisney FWs are not available at Riviera, only CCV. Our guide told us they simply weren't popular enough to make a part of Riviera, and as far as I'm aware they were not offered for PVB or any other resorts, so they are unique to CCV.

I would love to do this. Too bad it’s only at CCV. As a family of 5 we can’t do a studio or one bedroom.Thats a really cool option though.

specific runDisney weeks only at CCV and RVA apparently

When we bought our CCV runDisney FW, we asked explicitly about RVA as well and were told they decided not to do them for RVA. They are only at CCV.

However I bet it wouldn't hurt to ask now. It wouldn't surprise me if something changed.

Nevermind you meant specific Rundisney fixed weeks. that I dont know about.

Ugh I am confused. I was planning on purchasing 200 points at Rivier in March (right as they shut everything down, went on tour the last full day I was there, which was the day before Disney closed, came home reviewed with family, called and offices were closed).
Looking at the offer points sheet I was given in March for Riviera and what it currently listed on the website the price appears to be exactly the same (without the incentive I was offered in March). What is the $25 and $30 dollar incentive? How does that come in? I'm trying to determine if I can now afford more points, based on the incentive. Help, please?
