Are WL busses still sharing with CR even with limited seating on the busses? if you had a choice would you choose Copper Creek Studio Villa or Boulder Ridge studio Villa?

BRV studio has beds for five. One queen bed, one double sleeper sofa and a bunk sized murphy bed. CC studio only sleeps four with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa. BRV 356 sf; CC 338 sf.

So, we just changed our late August reservation to a 1-br at Copper Creek. We're still on the fence as to actually taking this trip, but if we do go, we thought having the extra space if we wanted to spend more time at the resort and in the room would be a good option.

Has anyone stayed in one of these yet since the reopening? If so, can you tell me what kitchen stuff is in the room, e.g., pots, pans, plates, cups, etc.? We've never done a 1-br, so having the kitchen is new to us and we're trying to figure out what's there, what we'd need to bring, etc. However, with all the Covid changes, that's even more difficult. I know I've seen in the studios that there are only disposable plates/cups, but didn't know about 1-BRs, plus not sure what is there in the way of cooking utensils, pans, etc.

Is there a laundry available for either CC or Boulder Ridge that’s included as I see only the larger Villas include washer/dryer? Also do you feel the view is more preferable between 2 locations.

I know there is a laundry for the studios in BRV, first floor maybe. And I think there is one for the CCV studios, too.

Thank you!!!
i just changed our reservation once again....started out with 9/9-16 at POFQ...was moved to CBR by Disney...I changed our reservation to a split between POP and Poly and now FINAL change 9/8-9/12 at CC and 9/12-9/16 at Poly...BEST of both worlds😊

You'll need to bring any food stuffs, like seasonings and similar. But there should be plates, glasses, flatware for eight, plus various pots and pans. You'll have some sharp knives, serving spoons, spatulas, etc. And a full sized dishwasher with dishwasher detergent. Also dish detergent (liquid).

Took the bus from WL to MK and back yesterday. It did not share with any other resort.

From what I saw on the park bus boards during the week, no resorts are sharing buses at the moment.

Have they reopened the walking path to Fort Wilderness yet? It has been closed because of the construction for the new DVC resort at FW, but that project has been halted. We love that path and hope they reopen it.

We just returned from a two-bedroom at Copper Creek yesterday, and our room had all of the kitchen stuff that would have been there pre-Covid. We didn't really use the kitchen, so I couldn't provide an accurate list of items that are stocked. However, if you can find a list of what's normally there, it seemed to be the case that nothing had been removed. We had plates (real, not disposable), regular glasses, wine glasses, silverware, pots/pans, and other kitchen accessories.

I didn't really notice many changes at all related to Covid and how the room was cleaned or stocked. Other than the TV remotes being wrapped in plastic and marked "cleaned," everything else seemed to be pretty much stocked and cleaned just as usual.

It was still closed/blocked off on the WL side when we were there Saturday. :-(

Fully stocked food. 8 cartons of a dozen eggs

Good to hear... Thanks for posting that. This means Omelettes (I'm bringing my own cheese)

Can anyone relay if they've been able to check in earlier than 4pm at Boulder Ridge? Like, maybe as early as noon?

This is our 1st time there because we had to switch from deluxe club level over at WL, and we've always been able to check into our room much earlier than 3-4pm.

Our flight gets in around noon, so I'm wondering what we could do to pass the time until the room is ready, aside from going to the pool? There's no club lounge to hang at.

I'd like to know too! I'm staying at Copper Creek in early December. This is my first time staying at a DVC resort and had forgotten about the 4;00 PM check-in.

Not Boulder Ridge, but similar - we checked into Copper Creek on Friday, and our villa was not ready as early as we hoped/expected from previous trips. We did online check-in and specified that we'd be arriving by 10:30 am, and we didn't get the room ready text until 3:15 pm. I was really surprised by this, since I know the WL villas are not fully booked right now, and I thought it would be really easy to get in early.

We ended up storing our luggage at the front desk, getting lunch at Whispering Canyon, then having to bother them to get our bags again so we could change into bathing suits to use the pool, bring the bags back when we went to the pool, and pick them up one more time when the room was finally ready. It was kind of a pain. The CMs were very nice about it, and it all worked out fine, but it would have been nice to get in earlier.

OK, thanks it' at least good to know we can store our luggage, and go to the pools

When is a good time to do online check in to request an early arrival? 24 hrs prior? 2 days prior? Whats good?

You’d think they’d push to get people in rooms ASAP these day. Less people are in the lobby that way. Guests have their own space they can retire to. Less rooms are being used. Frustrating but not unexpected I guess.

You can check in as early as 7AM or so. But your villa may or may not be ready until after 4PM. It just depends on how many vacancies they have.
