The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane

this is no bra, no crenoline, no ironing - eye hook obviously not hooked in back
fits like all of my other Mediums (which means it fits - not the dresses fault I'm fat), but I thought this skirt poofed more than the others. my hands on my hips kind of hides that point.

Love it!!! I really didn’t like the belt on this one. It feels too skinny for the dress. It totally did it a disservice imho. I actually found belts I had bought years ago before the bows came and tried it on. I feel it definitely looks better with the wider belts. It cinched me in a bit too without making me look larger around the tummy.

Ok...should have stayed with size medium instead of sizing up. It’s the exact same issue some have had with the Fantasia dress with the hip area having too much material. With my torso, it’s not even hitting at my hips but about 6 inches below as shown in the series of pics. It’s a bit too big in the waist, but fine on bust. I’m keeping it, but will need to either alter myself or take to professional
Pics out of order...the last pic is where I’m pointing to start of hip area
Personally, the largest measurement is the size I would have purchased so I think you did great. With the top fitting you, altering the lower half will be much easier and less expensive.
I would look where the dress sits on your legs - do you want it to stay there or have it higher? Be sure to wash it a few times prior to altering.

The matching face mask is perfect! You look great, I LOVE it!

It’s hard to tell from the pictures... which charms did you get?
I bought these from Reeds.

American Express had "Spend $250 and Get back $50" at Reeds so I took the deal. I believe the offer ends soon if interested.

Are you collecting them too?

For now, I have the entire 2019 collection plus a few more

And two from the 2020 collection, all I need now are the dangles.

I will say Dobby is top heavy and the Sorting Hat looks best on the O ring. ::yes::

You ROCK in this dress Sherlock! I'm so happy you were able to get one! Oh the fun we'll have!!! :stir:

I dunno. I’ve never had that issue with my other dresses. I didn’t look at tag to see washing instructions either

I'd be surprised if it wasn't DRY CLEAN ONLY given the fact it's 50% cotton / 44% rayon / 6% spandex - YES, expect it to shrink a bit! Rayon is the concern here.

Ok. My dress just came in. A little unsure about it. I feel I should have gotten a medium but Rick thinks the large looks ok.

Just got my HM wallpaper dress. Loved it right out of the box. Going from a 1x to an XL makes is very body conscious. Like this dress will need a shaper underneath. I think I might be too shy to post photos. Also, the front cut was too low for my regular bra. But it fits! And it feels great. The fabric is much thicket than I expected and very stretchy. I was surprised by how white the eyes seemed, in the photos online they didn't pop quite as much. Attaching a photo that attempts to show how thick the fabric is. Overall, I love this dress - even though I might have to drop 30lbs before I feel comfortable taking photos in it.

Yay! I’m so glad you like it. I’m a bit uncomfortable in it as well. I agree with the low cut. I’m sure you look amazing it in.

I agree with @Poohbear538 ~ you'll look fantastic in it Raya! I'm very happy for both of you! And you look great in this dress Poohbear! Thank you so much for posting photos :worship::love:

Wish I would have ordered it myself but I wasn't sure on the size and now it's gone!
