I voted "Other" for a few reasons:
  1. because we had to reschedule our Disneyland trip 5 or 6 times and then cancel it altogether.
  2. because Disneyland doesn't even have a reopening date yet.
  3. because 1 of our Disneyland reschedule dates would have been over our 25th wedding anniversary.
  4. because I had a double mastectomy a little over a year ago and I want to celebrate being frickin' ALIVE.

I went because I had use-it-or-lose-it work vacation time that was about to expire. Plus my mom passed away so I didn't want to spend it sitting around the house brooding about it. I'm glad I went, I thought Disney did a great job with mask compliance, temperature screenings, and social distancing.

We booked this October trip last December with a bounce back discount. The only reason we have decided to keep our plans is because staff and guests have been very good at wearing masks and honoring Covid safe procedures. It seems to us like WDW is one of the safest places to go at this time because of the restrictions. :)

As Florida residents, we usually go to WDW several times a year, but this year we were not planning on going. We had 3 non-Disney trips cancelled this year. We are sick of staying at home and being afraid. We are seniors, with none of the associated risk factors. We are not telling anyone we know that we are going because we don’t want any well meaning lectures. We love the EPCOT F&W Festival, so even if we only get to do that, it will be a treat.

Also in the Disneyland isn’t open yet crowd. I was getting so depressed just sitting there analyzing every word the CA governor was saying trying to find hope for a reopening date soon that I finally gave up to switch to WDW. And I’m so happy I did! 🤩

I picked "rescheduled" for my Aug trip, but could pick "other" for upcoming Dec trip.
We are APs in Iowa. We went in August after 3 rescheduled trips starting from Spring Break.
We did early August because DD25 was having baby Sept 8th.
Our trip was wonderful, even without all the stuff we usually do. (dessert parties, AHs, EMM, etc)
I renewed our APs in June, originally suppose to expire in March, so I want to get my monies worth. Booked a trip for DS8 and I for Dec 5-10. Want to experience Christmas stuff. Honestly after doing Hybrid schooling, I need a getaway. There is a reason I didn't go to school to be a teacher. :)

Going now was different, but then not. Still did our TS meals, saw characters, just from a distance. Loved the mini parades. We still got tons of pics, yes in our masks. These are memories! Got our mask picture collage on the wall. :)

We were supposed to take my parents in October and DH’s mom and sister in December. My parents canceled but DH’s didn’t. We are going in October and making sure that we feel safe taking his mom.

To use up our Banked/Borrowed DVC Points which had been slated for a huge Family GTG (since cancelled).

With the AP/TIW extension, we now have 4 - 4 night studio trips planned through March 2021. It will be different than before Covid, but with just DW and me, we will have a blast. Driving in from GA makes it super easy. 33 Park Days each on our AP's bought back in 2011 make our OOP Park cost $13.53 per visit/person. And here's to hoping PH returns in 2021.

Taking advantage of the extremely low crowds. Went over Labor Day and had a blast. Did everything we wanted to do between opening and 2:30pm at each park we visited.

Looking forward to a similar situation in November.

We had booked three rooms at the Swan a while back for four adults and four children. Two of the adults and the children backed out. So my adult daughter and I decided to have a mom and daughter trip. We got tickets from Undercover Tourist as soon as the parks started announcing their reopening procedures. We are Disney veterans and with the help of these boards new what to expect.

I’ve been wanting to take my girls for Christmas for years. This was tentatively scheduled before everything changed and I thought this would be the perfect year with the low crowds. It doesn’t really look like we will be having the low crowds I had hoped for, but when we originally throwing this idea around, we knew it would be crazy crowded. As of right now, my plan is to go and enjoy the Christmas decorations, etc and whatever else we get done will be a bonus.

I booked an Oct trip when our March 2020 trip was cancelled due to COVID. It's over my daughter's fall break, and spending 2 weeks cooped up here at home just sounds unbearable at this point since I'm working from home full time and she's a remote learner. I might have reconsidered if there were any indication at all that WDW is unsafe but personal reports from friends, what I've read here, and vlogs have made me feel pretty comfortable that we'll be fine. Mostly we're just antsy to be out of the house for more than 2-3 hours at a time. Low crowds definitely factored into the decision, too.

We booked Christmas week as a bounceback with free dining over a year ago.
Funny thing is (well not really funny) we book bounceback every year for the last week of May but decided on December this year. So we would have had to cancel the May trip anyway, lol.
We are WDW veterans and have been in December before but never on Christmas Day. We really wanted it to be special, upgraded to deluxe dining & everything....
So we are still planning on going, hopefully nothing else will happen to cause a cancellation.

We booked before the virus and this will be my last trip. Getting old and tired. If I were younger I would definitely postpone. I think crowds and no fastpass for veterans of the parks will be disappointing.

We rescheduled our May trip. Plus I need my happy place right now even if is not the same experience. We go every year so it will be nice not to be on a schedule due to fast passes.

I chose "Other".

After four trips from California on my first AP (2018/2019) I decided not to go to The World in 2020. But in April I decided to go in September just to experience what it was like during these unusual times.

We were scheduled for a cruise sandwich - 2N AKJ/3DC/2N SSR. The cruise part was cancelled by DCL. I really wish they would've released their fall schedule before we had to reschedule but we booked for April '21 and something tells me that isn't going to happen. Meanwhile when DCL cancelled the cruise portion of our November trip there was no availability for the 3 nights in any DVC and WDW venues available were not our preference so we booked the Dolphin - which is slated to open 'early November' and we arrive on 11/4. The Dolphin has already dropped their pricing by 40% so we did get a new lower price. I am hoping it will be open in time or I guess we're gonna be at the Swan. Oh well, new experience and everyone says the Swan rooms are larger. Meanwhile my BIL booked the Dolphin because he was booked post-cruise at Animations and there wasn't 3N available at Animations at the time. We're all curious how their vacation will be handled because Animations is not open yet. Interesting but it's WDW or BUST.

We did reschedule our May '20 vacation for March '21 - same place and length.
We are planning to reschedule our Sept '20 vacation for Oct '21 - different venue and longer time

We booked back in March, We were supposed to go to Destin in May but had to cancel since everything was closed. This will be our first trip out since 4th of July last year.
Almost cancelled because none of the things we like to do, 'Ohana, Trails End, fireworks on the beach are all closed or not happening. We aren't going to any parks. This was just a short staycation for us but we wanted to see the sites in Fort Wilderness decorated for Halloween. Finally, there is a large get-together at the Fort for a lot of people on the DIS camping forum https://www.disboards.com/forums/camping-at-disney-world.24/
and I'd like to meet up with them.
