Disney's CARIBBEAN BEACH RESORT Information & Questions

I think it’s great that Riviera is so close because it does open up more food options. I would love to stay at CBR when Sebastian’s and Spyglass Grill is open. You could also eat at the Banana Cabana lounge but could not sit at a table to drink there. That was disappointing. We got our drinks from the bar and found a bench to sit at. That was a bit of a bummer.
We are able to just drink there during a visit last year. I wonder if they changed that now that crowds are growing? President's Day weekend was the busiest I've seen almost any resort, and having half the dining options and only one option for drinks was a pain. Not fun to wait 20-30 minutes every time you need a drink. It was a bummer you couldn't order food to go from Banana Cabana as their menu looked better than Centertown.

Hmm. I can't tell from the FAQs. We will be in that COVID-cancel-up-to-last-minute window too. I've been afraid to check in early, because I'm worried that once we do, it will negate our ability to cancel.
It won’t. I have had 2 trips planned this past year and had to cancel both because of covid. I checked in online. Got a refund both times.

When you say you couldn't order food at Banana Cabana- do you mean you couldn't mobile order or they're not serving food right now? We too thought their menu looked better than the main one and wanted to eat there.

No mobile order and no food to-go. You can get a table, order from a server and eat there. There’s a separate line for the bar to order drinks to-go.

Does anyone know the hours that bell services would be open to hold luggage? Also, will they pick up luggage in the morning & hold it until the Magical Express comes?

Does anybody know if the movies under the stars , volleyball courts and the snores making still open at this time?

Do we have ant runners here staying at Caribbean Beach or Riviera over July 4? I usually head out for a few morning runs and maybe we can have a couple group runs?

Yes, they are still offering movies but I don't believe it's every night and to try to reduce resort hopping for non dining guests they are not releasing the movie schedules to public right now. I am not positive but pretty sure the volleyball courts were open on our last trip but I don't know if they were giving out equipment or if you had to bring your own. Same thing on the campfires, I am pretty sure they are still doing them but they are not releasing when and where to the public in advance but you can ask the front desk for the schedule when you arrive.

Thank you!!

We are about 100 days out from our trip.

We're adults with no kids. Fiance is going to a conference for work. We're spending half the week at Yacht Club/Beach Club with the conference then moving over to CBR.

What area should we request? I was thinking Aruba from some stuff I've read here but would love to hear what people think.

I just switched our room from a pirate room to a standard view room for our stay in a couple weeks. The CM I spoke with said that he would request buildings 45 and 51 for me (Aruba and Jamaica) as they are just over the footbridge from the lobby/main pool but also pretty close to the skyliner. You probably more so want access to the quiet pools with no kids, but they have a couple of them on the Aruba/Jamaica side of the footbridge too.

We just returned and for us we loved the Martinique preferred rooms. We were close to the feature pool and Old Port Royale and walking distance to Riviera for food and their skyliner. We were also almost always the 1st bus stop. I think the area you request really depends on how much time you plan On spending at the resort vs the parks and which parks you will spend most time at.

Someone mentioned their TA said the drink refill station in Trinidad is manned now. Is that true? Thanks!
