Part 2, A Mini Epic Meet-up
It was time to head back to Epcot, we took the bus and we did have to wait about 20 minutes, boo
I had been texting with Liesa and making a plan to meet up with her, KariLynn, and Ariana. I believe, they were at World Showplace trying some of the festival treats. Once we were in the park, we headed over that way. Andi and I took a few pictures with the Mickey and Minnie Topiary. I loved this area in front of the World Showplace.
The ladies had moved on to France so we headed there.
I did catch up to them and we spent some time visiting and did a photo shoot with a PhotoPass photographer.
Andi decided to let us visit for a few and she continued around the countries.
I said goodbye to the ladies after our pictures. We had an ADR at La Hacienda. I met up with Andi and we checked in on my phone. We waited about 15 minutes before we were seated. Our table was right by the window but it was a very tiny 2 topper. We decided to start with a margarita and the guacamole with chips.
Andi had the El Diablo margarita and I finally tried the famous avocado margarita. I have to say I had a love hate relationship with it. I would drink it and think this is weird, I donāt like it and then I would take another sip and think this is pretty good. As you can see, I am undecided
I donāt think I would get this again. I think it was a texture issue for me. It was a strange texture to me.
Give me a regular lime margarita with patron tequila on the rocks anytime, I love that one.
Andiās margarita was spicy, she enjoyed this.
The guacamole was tasty and fresh. We enjoyed this and decided to split the plant based chicken enchiladas.
I liked the flavor and the texture of this was just like chicken. The black beans here are very tasty except you get way to much.
We enjoyed the meal and I would eat here again. The tables were spaced well and we had a very nice waiter.
We passed on dessert and headed towards the front of the park. The park was still rather busy.
We did stop at Spaceship Earth and took a few pictures by the fountain. It was very pretty.
We decided to take a Lyft back to the resort. We did have to wait about 15 minutes to find a driver. Once we did it was a quick ride back to the resort.
Once back we settled in for the night. Stay tuned for tomorrowās adventures and the ongoing saga of the beeping noise.
Next post ā Mom is Crashing the Falconā
I forgot to give a run down on food costs for the first two days.
Day 1 $40.79 at El Mercado
Day 2 $144.75 for Flower & Garden and La Hacienda
I will put the totals in each day now, if I remember lol
