Also to all the new MDD people, was the CSR AF $550 or $450?

And also if I'm currently 3/24, if I do the MDD, will that make me 5/24 or 4/24? Just looking ahead to the "long term" game plan and what cards I might be doing next. The BF has been looking at $3k computers. I'm sure he'd be happy to help me hit a spend and then pay me back. So a MDD might be possible......
My CSR in October was $550.

Mine was $550. If you do the MDD you will then be at 5/24.

DP - I Venmo'd each of my kids $1500. Just posted. Was not considered cash advance and my SUB is now pending for my CSP. I have about $170 left on CSR.

So, with those done - was looking at Biz Cards for DH (he is 4/24). Just applied him for the Chase Ink Business Preferred. No instant approval. Email says they will let us know on the decision as soon as possible. So, I tried calling the automated line and says there is no applications - even though I got the email. Anyone else run in to this? I may have to have DH call on this as I need the card by June 7th to be able to put about $5000 spend on that day.

this is very good news! I need an MSR asap.
CIC is actually UR's right, not cash back?

I had that happen with the CIC. They sent something in the mail around a week later asking for confirmation about the address I used. I sent a copy of my license and was approved.

What is the fee through Venmo to send via credit card?

There is a different number for Biz card status line, it keeps being posted on churning, but I’ve never saved it.

I guess I can look at the $550 AF as a $100 increase (to get all the new points) if they grandfathered us again this fall. I got $450 last Nov, and I actually had a retention offer too (I can't remember how much).

Now finding out I'll be 5/24 hmmmmmm. There aren't any new Chase I want right now, but I was thinking of trying to churn the IHG Premier card. Once I hit 5/24 I'll be there till June 2022. So I guess I would want to get the IHG, then try the MDD. I love my IHG points for my NC beach trips. I'm going twice this summer, and spending 51k for 4 nights on my solo trip (in the "presidential suite") and then 45k for 4 nights in Aug w/ the kids (again in the presidential suite). I love stay 3 and get the 4th free. So I need to reload those points, LOL. But I do have 5x everything right now on my current IHG premier. I'm thinking the SUB is worth more than the 5x offer, right?

Although, since I'm trying to attempt an $8k spend on the MDD, maybe I hold off and do a CIU or CIC before I'm over. Gah! I hate how my mind thinks!

Did you Venmo $3k total of the MSR spend on the CSP? It's $4k right? I'm just trying to decide if I want to totally change my plan up and try for the CIU now, get those 75k points, and then think about the IHG churn and the MDD. Looks like if I had to do the entire $7500, the "fee" would be $225. Obv not looking to have to spend that, but a nice option if I run short on the MSR.

It was 3% - but worth it as I thought I could put tuition on this card. But tuition won't be posted until after the MSR was done. So now getting a new card for DH so can put tuition/books for DD and then pay for DVC stay next year. So a good chunk of the $15,000 needed for the Chase Ink Preferred.

Yes - I venmo'd 3K Total of the 4K. It is a nice option - and heard earlier that Venmo would now code as Cash advance. But it didn't.

That would be worth it for large SUBs. We are in the middle of building a house, so I'm on a pause with applying for new cards. Just dreaming about when I can start applying again!

Just found the Biz #. 1-800-453-9719. Got the 7-10 days notice. Uggh.. Will probably have DH call. He does have a legit side business so no problem talking about that. I did lower some of his other cards - but only a few days ago. Wondering now if the Ink Unlimited or Ink Cash would have been easier to get.... Will have him call later and see what is up. He has to call anyway as for some reason they locked his Biz account and needs to call to get it unlocked. He doesn't currently have any Chase Biz cards so not sure why that happened.

Normally I would have trouble with the CIU MSR but I can put my son's private school tuition on it for a 2.85% fee. The 75,000 points are worth way more than the fee so I'm fine paying it. Also we'll get the points for the spend itself.

So I just sat down and wrote out the mess in my head, LOL. I think the Venmo option makes trying for a CIU an option, LOL. I'd try for a CIC, but I already have that (PCd from the CIP in March). I haven't had a chase card since 1/2021, so I'm okay, right? I PCd a CIP to a CIC in Feb/March, but that doesn't affect a new app, right? Is the spacing recommended w/ Chase 3 months?

I wrote out my game plan for now. And I think it might work out.....but I'm sure something will throw a wrench in that, or there will be some great new offer! I'm trying to get over the FOMO on the 140k the MDD is giving. But even if they go to the recent lows, I'm looking at 110K in the fall when I try for the MDD. And with this plan I get the 75k URs with the CIC, so I actually come out ahead.

And with a focus on Chase cards till fall, I won't be upset Amex has me blocked out, LOL.

Current plan

Now - CIU
July - Churn the IHG Premier (hope the offer is decent then)
Fall - MDD (before my AF posts for the CSR)

Then I'll be over 5/24 for awhile, LOL. So I hope in 2022 Amex doesn't hate me! Otherwise, I guess it'll be AA cards I focus on.

I think that’s a good plan. Don’t forget to keep spending on your Amex cards, maybe change their mind and give you a card or two.
