I typically buy the limit and never had any issues. I’ll even bring P2 and she will also purchase the limit. I have bought anywhere between 3k-5k of GCs and never have had anyone give me an issue. I wouldn’t worry about it
Good to know! I’m not sure if the store has a limit, the manager just told the cashier she had to be present for anything over $50 because of company wide fraud issues 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just requested an employee card for DH, so I’ll send him next time, ha!

I get $2k at a time, no problem. I think the ad says $1k but max they can do is $2k.

For those of you that buy GC at Staples, what amount do you usually buy each trip? I am between MSRs and decided to buy some GC today to cover our spend and the manager was super weird about it. I’m not sure if it was the amount I bought ($600) or because the cashier didn’t call her for approval since the GC purchase was over $50. Just wondering if I should scale back next time.
I buy $1k of the VGCs when they have the no fee sale…

DH's CSP denial was income verification, I need to fax our tax return. yay! doing that this morning, anyway to expedite the process?
so.... apparently someone does check for income verification.... I won't play with that anyway but it got me thinking.... I don't think I can use our household income on ds's CSP app even tho I want to. (he lives with us)

Seems like someone might, at least. I wonder what factors lead them to ask for it...

Would any of the household income go to paying his cc? If it would then you can, but I'd say if he's fully supporting himself I wouldn't.

Will you all tell me if you have any experience with this?

My potential P2, who has less than stellar credit as I may have mentioned, got flat out denied (at least I am pretty sure that's how I read it!) for a CSP the other day. But then he received an email from Chase asking for further documentation, which was apparently for his W2.

I can only assume that means they're thinking about it but just want income verification since they don't know anything about him (no relationship with Chase).

So let's say they end up approving him after all (no idea whether they will)... would be still be good for the SUB that he applied under, do you think?
Did he submit the information? How long after submitting did he receive a response?

The water park looks cool. But I’d never pick the Baha Mar over Aruba. Just my 2cents. We did Baha Mar a few years ago. Liked the pools but that’s about it.

I have done both Aruba and Baha Mar before. My wife works for Baha Mar so it would be nice to see it again. I have only been there on day 1 of it being open when my 6 month old and I had the entire facility to ourselves (but almost nothing was open).

My American Airlines app is telling me they made changes to my upcoming flight and to check back to see what those changes are. I tried to log into the full site on my computer and the website is down when I try to log in. I am so angry!!!! WTH people!!!!

Guess I'll have to app for another Amtrak card. I was thinking I could do one of the obnoxious surveys every so often to get a few points to keep my points from dying. So I started one of the surveys. Okay for about 15 minutes of a 25 minute survey. And I am snapping along just a little too quickly because after clicking an answer I realized they had told me to check a certain answer. As soon as I checked the 'fully satisfied with my provider' instead of the Number 3 answer, I got 'this is not the right survey for you'. Well, none are right for me as I hate these surveys, lol.

But, they gave me 5 points anyway. For 25 minutes they were offering 40 points. I should know better.

I was reviewing my CC charges and I noticed a $10 cash advance fee posted yesterday. Knowing I don't use my card for cash advances, I called Barclay. They told me it was tied to a charge on 6/11 while in Hawaii. I'm fairly certain I paid for food at a food truck with my card that day. The merchant was listed as HNB bank with Quasi cash as the category. They gave me the number of the bank to call. I was thinking Honolulu National Bank....she starts to give me the phone number of the bank and it starts with my area code! So I call and they are of no help. Can't trace the purchase. I am just trying to figure out how a purchase at a food truck went through a bank that is about 2 hours from me as a cash advance???
Anyone ever experience anything like this??
I did ask them to get me a new card just to be on the safe side, but would really like to know what happened so it doesn't happen again!:headache:

thanks for the code. I just ordered 3 bottles and saw the same notice. The charge comes up on Amex as Hemisphere, the same company as Wine Insiders that was difficult to pay out with the $30 off $30 deal from earlier this year. I bet they put this disclaimer on there to cut down on the complaints. I'll report back on whether I get the credit but I'm not too optimistic. The wines have been fine at Wine Insiders (I only buy Sauv Blanc and some Rose) especially when they are on sale for $8.99 or less so they did gain a customer from that promo.

Did you get the $25 credit? I did, but I didn't use any discount code. I'll order again if I can use the code and get the credit, we had a bottle last night and really liked it!

Trying to use the Dell credit and I know that it is really late for the Jan-Jun one. Does the $100 Xbox live digital card still work?

Well I figured out where the 1600 AA miles came from. It was a promo they were running. So I didn't get that for the nightmare my trip was. I replied to their travel credit of $125. I said considering you offered me $400+ had I changed my flight Sunday night, and I was out $160 (hotel and car), $125 doesn't seem to be enough. We'll see what I get. I am scared about our flights in August. I'm hoping AA has more pilots current by then.

Me too.

it works if you can get a order through... dell is pretty cancel happy. if u have the 10% off AO, i think u need to buy $110 to maximize the $100.
there is, i think still a 10% off directly from dell so u then need to buy $120 i think to maximize the full $100.
