We just got home from our wdw trip and it was amazing! Everything about our trip went so well. We had an amazing view in our GF studio to watch the fireworks and loved the closeness to MK. The crowds were super low and pretty much everything we went on was a walk on. Ds loved dumbo and the triceratops ride at AK. We did breakfast at Topolino’s this morning before we left and it was fantastic! All of the food was delicious and Ds loved the characters so much. I’m really glad we were able to take advantage of the last minute dvc rental.

Love your pictures…..My daughter is trying to decide if we should try to find a character meal the end of October…Madison will be almost 10 months so she thinks it may be a little early…but we will see…they also said the crowds were low so it was a perfect trip for the 3 of them

I would 100% do the topolinos breakfast again and I don’t think 10 months would be too early for her. The characters come around for distanced pictures but they also go around clapping to music. My Ds does not sit well for meals but did great there because there was so much going on

Thanks…I’ll let her know and in the meantime keep looking for a reservation…easier to cancel if she decides no than to try and get one later on
My daughter said she did really well in the parks…kept her Minnie ears on and was always smiling

I'm just getting ready to move some from my CIC to my CSP. Does this mean I will have to call?
Seems to be hit or miss. I was expecting problems with DH’s CSP since it is his first personal UR card. But when I went to combine points, my CSR was already a choice. So far no problems on combining.

Looks awesome! Who did you book the confirmed DVC reservation through if you don’t mind sharing? $250/nt for GF is dirt cheap!

Ugh! I order Puggles food from Amazon on auto ship but I have been canceling orders the last couple of months since I have more than enough. I prefer to grab a can of green beans and sweet potatoes and a rotisserie chicken to feed him than dry food. Plus trying to get him to 2 meals a day rather than the 3 he was getting as a puppy. Trying to avoid an overweight pug.
If you are talking about feeding him just "people food" please be careful. Reputable dog foods are designed to promote growth and development as well as maintenance for all stages of a dogs life. They have appropriate levels of protein as well as calcium (to heal his bones)and other vitamins. Homemade food and some grain free diets have been linked to cardiomyopathy, for instance. Other deficiencies can occur as well.

I'm grateful this week is short! But god, I can't pull the red-eye off and teach like I used to, LOL. When I was 22, the ex was still living in Vegas (Nellis AFB) and I got a teaching job back in MI. I would fly out for breaks I had and some weekends. I would take the red-eye back and then go into school at teach. That's MUCH easier at 22 than 44, LOL. I passed out at 7:30pm last night! Luckily my kids didn't seem to burn the house down. They trashed it, but it's still standing, LOL.

I do not have ANY of these offers you guys keep talking about in my Paypal account. Have tried all the tricks. So weird! Feeling left out!
I'm w/ you! My PP is a business account. I may need to open a personal one. UGH.

Thanks! I’ll keep that in mind. I guess I hate not knowing what else is ground up in the food. I do grain free dry food.

I did the touring plans reservation finder and was able to pick from like 4 different times. I kept doing the search until I found a time we really wanted. We ended up doing 7:50 which was perfect for us

And I feel slightly better about being too lazy to fix food and too cheap to buy fresh prepped food!

My dog has had his share of rotisserie chicken, mostly because there is so much of it on the Costco chickens and I have a DD that very rarely will do leftover or 'used' food, as she called it when younger.

Other than being a PIA, and suffering from anxiety, he's in great health and is almost 12 if I remember correctly.

One thing I do let him have his share of are blueberries. I eat a lot of them and he begs so often he gets a handful.

My bichon lived to almost 16 on Costco rotisserie chicken and brown rice plus dog food (for the last five years or so). And she had tons of medical issues so how she made it that long I have no clue. She was scrawny at the end and the rotiserie chicken kept her interested in food.

And I don't really think the rotisserie chicken made my Havanese pant because she panted when she ate baked/grilled chicken breast too. She's just a hot dog and chicken is a hot protein according to TCVM.

Nice I’ll have to look into that….Will be looking for much later time on a non park day…she sleeps until 9am or so…and they usually wake her up…that girl loves her sleep

Well, TBF dogs will eat garbage and their own poop so commercial dog food of any kind is a step up. :rotfl2:
Seriously though, wild carnivores eat the whole carcass, not just the meat, so even though it's not appealing to us, feeding innards and such is not a bad things for dogs.

So the breeder sent us home with a can of tripe (muscle tissue from lambs' stomachs). People swear by it and it's really good for picky/sick dogs because they will inhale it. I thought it was gross (and smelly) but it was tough getting my puppy to eat and she loved the tripe. I have her settled on Fromm's puppy food (recommended by the breeder who is a dog food snob) and Wellness canned toppers (she prefers whitefish). I do think back to my parents' first dog that ate canned Alpo and the world has definitely changed!
